Wolfman Side Racks Triumph Tiger 800 XC

The tough steel and chromoly Wolfman Side Racks are specifically designed to fit the Wolfman Expedition Dry Saddlebags, Teton Saddlebags, and Large Rolie Bags (when used as saddle bags). The proprietary oval-shape allows Wolfman to have 4 attachment points for luggage–for the most secure mounting around. High grade rack-to-motorcycle mounting nuts and bolts are included.

The racks can double as utility racks in a pinch - lash on a gas or water can, or a case of your favorite beverage. Or add full liquid-carrying capability with the Wolfman Side Plate and RotoPax kit.

Features:

  • Easy and secure luggage mounting
  • Durable construction
  • Slotted bolt holes for simple, painless rack installation
  • Appropriate for the most aggressive offroad conditions or for an urban commute

The racks are designed to work seamlessly with Wolfman's:

  • Expedition Dry Saddle Bags
  • Teton Saddle Bags
  • Large Rolie Bags
  • Wolfman Side Plate and RotoPax Mount

Fits on Tiger 800 (Not XC) Couldn't find if these fit on Tiger 800 anywhere so just decided to buy it. Yes, they do fit and they are well made. March 28, 2013
Nice rack! Bought these for my Tiger 800. The instructions almost made it seem more difficult to install than they actually were. Once I figured out the first mounting location, the rest was a breeze. The racks are solid, and I'm sure will serve me well. March 25, 2013
hard or soft luggage easy to install, looks good, solid on bike, not extremely large like others, mounted pelicans on it for now and I am going with wolfman soft bags also for off road. January 21, 2013

Does Wolfman rack fit w/o interfering with the Triumph OEM topbox/sliding rack combo on a non-XC Tiger 800 (roadie)?

Answer:
No, the Wolfman Side Racks do not interfere with the factory topcase mounting plate. The topcase plate mounts directly to the rear sub frame and is not dependent on the on the side case mounting at all, as on other Tigers in the Triumph line up.

I would like to know if these are spaced evenly on the bike (with a gap on the non-exhaust side) or if they tuck tightly against the bike on both sides. Thanks in advance.

Answer:
The easy answer is that, yes, they are asymmetric. The truth, however, is that the right side is "bumped-out" so as to not be flush with the side of the bike but not to an extent that would mimic the left side. We hope this helps!

Answer:
On the Tiger 800, the right (exhaust side) rack sits just outside the OEM can, and is about 2.5 inches farther out than the left side. In other words, they are NOT evenly spaced from the centerline of the bike.
