Mesh jackets have rapidly become a significant part of the market, even due to the more and more unpredictable weather changes. The NETWIN jacket is able to provide multiple solutions to different weather conditions: from summer warmth to chilly winter, to rainy autumn all thanks to its built-in Step in clothing system
Other than this great flexibility, the NETWIN is the first touring jacket available with a detachable chest protector. Also, the fit is made to provide a comfortable riding experience from a variety of different bikes and riding styles, with reduced encumbrance and an essential fitting thanks to its several stretch fabric inserts.
I've had this jacket for years now and its been great. The liner it comes with is absolutely amazing. Breathable, comfortable, and super warm. I can wear it with a t-shirt down to about 40 degrees before I need to add another base layer. And it is 100% waterproof. I've ridden through serious storms with it and stayed completely dry. With the liner out the mesh shell flows a ton of air. One issue I have with it is that with the liner out it fits somewhat loose and in a crash the armor does not stay in place and provide the protection its meant for. With the liner in it fits nicely.
If I was looking to replace it I'd look for something with the waterproofing baked into the outer shell so that I could eliminate a waterproof liner and order a smaller size.

Nice style and multiple configurations
I would rate this jacket as a 3 seasons, not suitable for extremely cold conditions,
With the liner out the jacket flows a lot of air and is great in hot conditions when not raining. If it does start to rain in hot conditions the liner provided is too hot to wear.
So I use my BMW goretex line from another jacket.
With the Spidi liner in the jacket is nice and snug and comfortable in colder conditions.
I do also like the ability to wear the liner as a jacket when not on the bike as it has become very handy.
The adjustable wrists, arms, waist and torso on this jacket make it suitable for a wide variety of body shapes.

Liner makes a tight fit
The jacket and liner make for a snug fit but warm. I have no issues riding in +30F Northern Cal weather. I am 42" chest at just under 6' tall at 200lbs with an expanding waist wearing a XL size. The sizing issue I have deals with arm movement. The L size is a better fit however, my arm movement is restricted when the liner is installed. I went for overall comfort and movement with XL.
Liner out: the outer jacket is thin and highly moveable. The large mesh panels in the chest, arms, and back move air very well. I have yet to test in 80F weather.
There are many size adjusting straps and zippers. I feel like I am wearing a suitcase, but the strapped up jacket looks like a fitted suit. Adjustments are for a tighter waist, arms, cuffs, neck, and a zipper to expand the jacket like and accordion.
Overall the Netwin is a great jacket if you are of a normal to slim build and waistline. Great for fall, spring, and summer. Don't forget the included elbow/forearm, shoulder, back and chest CE armor.

I wanted a jacket that offered great armor, airflow, and rain protection. I found it! It fits well (I went with the XL, even @ 5'10", 185#) and is super-comfortable for all-day rides. It does everything extremely well, but I have 3 complaints.
1.) the rain/thermo liner is difficult to install in adverse conditions (think sudden cloudburst that sneaks up behind you)
2.) the waterproof pockets are completely inaccessible with the front armor plate in place (though they ARE dry)
3.) the zippers on the 2 front pockets are a bit fiddly with gloves on. A larger pull would be nice.
I love this jacket! It breathes extremely well, yet offers complete weather protection once the liner is installed. I am thoroughly impressed by the build quality and thought put into this gear.

Jonathan W: Good reviews on forums and seems to be from a reputable company. I will interested to try out and provide further comment. This seems to have a lot of protection right from the manufactuer.Apr 17, 2014
