Great product I had on this vest during a recent 350 mile round trip. For years, I have been riding with black motorcycle gear resulting in being cut off all of the time. With this high viz vest on, I observed drivers noticing me more and watching out when changing lanes. During my entire round trip, I did not get cut of once and drivers that almost switched lanes close to me quickly saw me and moved back into their lane. To sum things up, I highly recommend this product. I will mention however, when I hit passed 100mph on the highway the velcro came undone except the top one. I had to stop my motorcycle on the side and fix the vest. I traveled at traffic speeds without any issues through 99% of my trip. August 26, 2015
Don't know I have it on. This product makes me feel more visible in my urban environment in Seattle. Since I will lose a confrontation with a cage, I want to be as visible as possible without having to wear a dayglo coat. This is as close as I could go as far as being conspicuous. I have been on bikes for 50+ years and still ride a '14 BMW R1200GS. In fact I courted my wife of 50 years on a Honda 125 Benly Super Sport road racer. Excellent product. March 18, 2015
For the safety-conscious in you. If you are sporting all-black, and still want more attention..from careless motorists out there, that is! Then, Spidi Hi-Vis vest, is it. Superior design, quality built, and excellent fit. January 1, 2015
Excellent conspicuity, fits well, doesn't flap Got a wonderful winter riding suit in a stealth color with very little reflective material. This vest is a cheap and effective solution. The amount of high-viz color and reflective tape makes it can't-miss. Easy to don and doff, and doesn't flap in wind. Packs down to nothing. November 26, 2014
This vest will light you up like a Christmas tree Great way to increase visibility and awareness for drivers of a biker's prescence. Fits true to size on different jackets October 27, 2014
Simple but effective. People see you when you have this vest on ,safety first. September 21, 2014
Works fine Very bright and stands out great. Makes you more visible and that is %90 of the battle! September 2, 2014
Simple, Packs Small, Does the Job I own an Olympia Nova vest, great vest, but I was looking for something more minimalist and easy (read small) to pack. I don't need a full featured vest (e.g., pockets, liner) as it always goes over a jacket. A vest is a bring-along safety item for me to throw on in bad weather and when the sun sets. The Spidi fits the requirement. Good visibility/reflectivity, doesn't block air flow, and packs very small. I am 6'0", 170 lbs and bought a size Large. The vest fits perfectly over my Dainese leather jacket, size 54 (Ducati rides) and my Klim Badlands jacket, size Large (BMW GS rides). With both jackets there is still room in the vest for adjustment in-and-out. The only downside, or upside depending on you viewpoint is this is a minimalist vest, no zippers, pockets, liner, etc. Adjustment is via three velcro tabs on the front. August 25, 2014

Tyler M: I wanted a small, reflective vest that I could keep in my CBR's "trunk" to check the block when I ride on military installations during hours of darkness. It does all of that perfectly for the price. Apr 30, 2015
Jesse C: to be seen during early morning commute Apr 23, 2015
Francis R: For its minimalistic design. Man, it looks good on and off the jacket. It also looks and feels durable. Nice product! Apr 20, 2015

Debra L: The cut of the vest looks comfortable. I leave for work at 6AM and am looking for a way to be visible when many drivers appear to still be asleep. Apr 17, 2015

Rannie L: Hi-Vis... What else is there to say?

The Dainese Speedio D-dry that I purchased doesn't have adequate enough visibility when riding at night, in my opinion. Having this product easily tucked away under my seat for easy access during night rides is a boon.

Kevin R asked: Does this fasten with zippers, or is it only Velcro? And if it's Velcro, how does it fare on the road,at speed? I am concerned about it flapping about. Thanks! Jun 26, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Eric R: It is only velcro. Ive had the vest about 2 week now Only wear it at nite(Very Brite) if im out with my bike. I like the fact that it is light weight and fits over reg clothing very nice. I havent had any issues with it flapping open in the wind. Velcro seems very secure will see how it holds over time. I do wish it had a zipper/button closure or other than velcro. Overall good vest Jun 26, 2014

Darrin K: You can have a tailor add a few snap buttons to it for cheap. Or add your own additional velcor. Oct 1, 2014

Peter H: It is fastened with velcro.

I have it for emergency low visibility purposes so I haven't actually had to use it yet. I keep it stashed in my bag just in case.

It's a short vest so I don't think flappage would be a problem

A S asked: How do you determine sizing? I wear 3X jackets and my wife wears women's XL normally. What is the best size to get for each? Sep 6, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Raoul D: I would get whatever size you wear. If you can't find your size, keep in mind that the 3 closures in front are Velcro, so by merely adding a length of Velcro to each strap the vest would fit....Also in the picture you do not see that the three Velcro closures in the front can be adjusted for length by at least 4 extra inches, so it's already adjustable...hope this helps.
