Comfy but very baggy The jeans are comfortable and fit well. I wear 32, bought 32 - they fit perfectly. They seem to be sturdy and have additional protection on the seat and knees. One thing to note - the jeans are very baggy. I had to get them tailored to make them look more normal, otherwise they are way too wide. After the tailoring, I really like them - great bang for your buck. April 29, 2013
Great fit, but legs are very wide. I bought these hoping to find something stealthy enough for casual office wear. They're about 95% of the way to that goal. The kevlar weave is completely invisible aside from the low-key stiching and doesn't stand out at all when standing or sitting. I feel as safe with these jeans as I'm going to get without actual padding. The waist fits true to size, so if you can properly wear a 505 or whatever in a certain waist size buy that. My only complaint is that the pant legs are very wide and a little long, causing the jeans to easily slip over the heel of a shoe and create a very messy look. Cuffing them helps a little, but they're still very big and the cuffed look doesn't work very well with such wide legs. Of course, the pant is designed to fit while crouched on a bike so the extra length is intentional, but it would fit much cleaner if the legs were thinner. The search for the perfect office pant continues, but these are great for going out with friends or any other activity where you don't mind looking just under 100%. April 22, 2013
Very good for what they are I bought a second pair of these because I liked them so much. They are my daily wear jeans now. I like how the kevlar is stiched in place, rather than flopping around loose. That being said, although I know these will protect me more than ordinary jeans, I still don't how well they'd stand up on the asphalt. Hopefully I won't need to test it. They give me some sense of security without the cumbersome process of putting all the heavy gear on. Plus, I think they look really good, and they feel a little heavy, but not super heavy. Nice Fit and Comfort I just received these from Revzilla and I must say I really like them. They are comfortable and fit well. They do seem a little thin, but no thinner than regular jeans. The Kevlar protection is nice. These jeans are not meant to completely protect you in a crash, just in a slide in vital areas. The styling is also great. Looks like you are wearing designer jeans. Comfortable! These fit great. The size was right on. No problems wearing these to the bar. They are a relaxed fit. Almost baggy. I don't mind this as they're super comfortable. Order the size you'd normally get. I do feel the denim could be a little thicker, but its still a step up in protection from regular jeans. I dig the reflective bits too. March 17, 2013

Great pair of jeans, slightly longer than advertised Although these jeans are a little longer than advertised, I believe it's so that you can flip the bottom cuff up for style. I purchased the black pair. While the black denim image on this site appears like a very dark blue denim, it is truly black with a slight faded and khaki seams. As far as style these jeans are right up there with some of the higher branded "D's." The seated & knee areas have extra protection which thankfully don't stand out or add any weird bulk. Nice set of jeans Got these jeans and it is hard to tell with them on that they are "riding jeans." These are perfect for wearing if you don't want to look like a power ranger after you get off the bike, while providing some semblance of protection. They have Kevlar weave in certain impact areas and thick denim elsewhere. There isn't any impact armor but for casual city riding I think they will do. They fit a little loose around the legs but that is to be expected and otherwise they are true to size. February 11, 2013

I bought the 34 waist. That was the right size. 32 would be too tight as I feel these jeans run a little on the smaller side.

You could go with 32 and be fine. 34 will mean you'd need a belt. Doesn't bother me as I always wear a belt anyway.

If you wear a 33 then get the 34 and use a belt is probably the best thing. I doubt they will be to baggy at 34 that you'll even notice. They are cut pretty skinny actually.

I would say it's a generic blue. These pants are the same color as middle of the road blue jean after maybe ... 3 washings? It's not obnoxious and it's not super dark. It's the same color as Lee and Levi default to.
