Shorai Battery Management System
It's good, but not great but you HAVE to use it for Shorai batteries.
I have two bikes with Shorai batteries and yes, they're super-light. Depending on your bike the install might be easy or a pain. The charger isn't like a CTEK or Battery Tender. Read the directions, it's not just plug and play. The charging spot is in the middle of the battery. They don't piggyback the terminals like other chargers. The connecting cable feels flimsy and it doesn't look like you could just leave it connected forever. For the money you pay for the Shorai products it should be a better design. Yes they're light and it might be a perfect solution for you, I was 50/50, but overall they're worth it. I guess you're paying for 'trick'.

Precise lithium battery management
Useful in keeping my long term storage bikes running. No problems after 90 days with any defects. The cable plugging into the battery is fragile so you really have to be careful when disconnecting. Otherwise, battery maint has been on par for what you would expect.

I purchased this charger along with a Shorai battery. I've only actually used this charger one time when I first received it so I can't say anything about longevity. Build quality seems to be top notch. Both the charger and the charging lead that connects to the battery and remains on the bike are very well built. Also with a dedicated battery/charger set up like this your neighbor can't borrow your battery charger every time there lawnmower won't start.

shorai battery charger
Have two Shorai batteries and needed this charger in case one needed charging.Surprise...when I received this charger the battery in my dirt bike was at three volts.Since it has sat for months with a GPS charging it ran down. The battery charger worked like a charm and within a few hours had battery putting out 13.7 volts.Have had no issues with battery since charging.
The charger works as advertised.

The charger is made by shorai to compliment the battery, simple install, wires reach just fine still some slack left. It simply just works. I charged up my battery once that was done I activated store mode which is on a solid yellow right now. Works perfect. Battery does not need to be disconnected from motorcycle to charge or store.
Thanks revzilla for a super fast shipping! And shorai for the product!

If you have a Shorai battery, this charger is made for you.
I decided to invest in a Shorai battery after my Odyssey finally gave out (after 8 years, great battery!) because of the reduced weight and the low self-discharge rate. While I expect it to stay charged through normal use in most cases, there are always the instances of unintentional battery drain and it's good to have a compatible charger. I purchased this charger to complement that battery. There's not a lot to say about it except that it simply works and, like the batteries themselves, it's lightweight. As low as the weight is, they probably could have reduced the size more but it's not overly large as it is.

Overkill, but does what it says
The charger works well, but is unneccessary. A timed charger would be just fine.

I've only had this charger a short time so I'm still getting a feel for it. So far it's worked well and my gut feeling is it will continue to do so as long as it's treated with care.
I have three concerns-
1- The cables don't appear very durable at all. They use multi-pin connectors, and the vulnerable areas where the wires join the connectors don't have the type of robust reinforcement that I'd expect or want in order to feel OK using them in the context of charging/maintaining a motorcycle battery. I'm planning on putting a couple layers of shrink-wrap on them to ensure good performance.
2- The cables are very short, which is an inconvenience more than a problem, but may contribute to stress on the connectors.
3- The charger itself doesn't appear to be very durably constructed, and certainly isn't waterproof.
