Scorpion SGS Gloves
Great product, durability is questionable
I bought these about a year ago within two months the thumb stitching started to tear. I exchanged them and on this new pair the thumb stitching is way too tight. It still has yet to loosen with use.
The inconsistent workmanship hurts my review on this product. Other than that these gloves are very nice.
I would recommend to anyone buying these to attempt to try them on and pay close attention to the stitching.

See Pics - fell apart after 4 months of riding
I bought these for the great price / protection ratio. The materials and features were fantastic for the price. They fit well when I got them and broke in great.
Then they started falling apart. Every other ride it seemed another seam would pull out somewhere - see the pictures.
These were just used for commuting and some weekend rides - never rained on, wrecked in, or otherwise abused.
Pretty sad. I wish I could still get my money back out of them. Don't buy them if you want them to last more than a couple of months.

Don't go by the sizing chart, its WAAAAAAAY off
First of all I ordered these for my girlfriend. So that might skew the sizing of the mens gloves, but there's such a horrible selection for womens gloves that she typically buys mens. Her hands are not terribly small, measuring around her palm, the circumference of her hand is 8". According to the size chart here that's a large. However if you watch the video for these gloves the guy says he's a 9 and is wearing a medium. So I thought an 8 would be a medium. Her hands SWAM in the mediums. And the tag on the gloves said M/9. So I ordered a small, they fit like.... well a glove. They were slightly snug, but they fit. And THAT tag said it was a SM/8. So I am not sure where Revzilla got their sizing chart, but it is not in line with what the tags from the manufacturer say on them.

Great Value Glove
I had previously purchased budget gloves from a local chain, and the gloves fell apart quickly.
The SGS gloves are built with high quality materials. After 2 short rides, they still fit a bit snug, but I expect the leather will continue to break in for a couple more rides. They work well with the touch screen on the Garmin, and grip the bars nicely.
Texas summers are hot - between the heat and barkbusters there isn't much ventilation, but I have high confidence in their ability to protect my hands should the need arise (and we hope that it doesn't)

They fit snugly
However, they have stretched out a bit with use. Based on reviews, I ordered a large. Using the Revzilla size chart, I should wear an XL. Using Scorpion's size chart, Large was the recommended size.
They were very snug at first, but are find now. It takes a tug on each finger to get them off, but I would have have them close fitting as opposed to being able to shake them off.

Just looking at the glove makes me feel protected
I'm a complete beginner and needed some gloves to take my MSF course. Everyone recommended revzilla, and revzilla recommended these on their style guides. It's a great pair of gloves

Great quality, protective glove
This is a very well made glove with all the protection features I want without the full race guanlet style. Because these really are designed for safety first, they're a little snug going on and hug your hand pretty good, but you never worry about them flying off. I wear a medium glove normally, and that's what I bought in this glove. They fit good but are a little snugger than most mediums on me. Takes a little time to break in, but they do conform to your hand. Good spring, summer, fall, glove. Best lightweight glove I've ever owned.

Scorpion SGS gloves 6 month of ownership Review
I got the white version of this pair. I liked it very much. I use them every day. This puts to shame all my previosly owned gloves which were in the same price range. I'm 5'11' and the size large fits me well. Especially around my palm, the glove stays in place snugly and provides very good feel of the motorbike controls.
Ventilation is enough to keep your hands from getting sweaty in hot summer days, but they will feel warm. the best ventilation holes are located to the sides of the fingers, so lowering your arm near the gas tank of the bike will provide a nice cooling feeling while at speed.
If you are caught in the rain with these, they will soak in water and you hands temperature will drop noticieably and they will take about +8 hours to dry in the shade. They are not waterproof, just letting you know what can be expected.
It comes with a ton of safety features that for the most part don't get in the way, except for the plastic protection for the base of the palm, you feel it's there especially on your ight hand while operating the throttle, but you get used to it in a couple of days and forget about it.
The stiching looks well made and so far I haven't experience a single issue with the construction so I guess they will do a fine job protecting my hands shall I go down in the future and it seems like they will hold up wear and tear for at least another year.
