Scorpion EXO-CT220 Hi Viz Helmet
I am very pleased with this helmet. The only issue I have is that the sun screen, which is sometimes difficult to actuate; however the flip side is that when lowered, it is adjustable, so that when riding into the sun I both wear sunglasses and lower the sunscreen to the point where it is slightly above my horizon. It is not a perfect helmet but it is a good value.

Far too loud.
Pay attention to an earlier review that stated the noise inside this helmet sounds like a jet engine when you open the vents. He is right! If you ride in warm enough weather to open the vents, you will not like it. Unfortunately, for me to find that out for myself, I had to wear it, making it unreturnable.
Too bad. All the other features make it really desirable.

I bought it for a short daily commute where I feel safe in an open face helmet. It's great.

first 3/4 helmet.. i love it
going from a full face on a my kawasaki ninja 636, to a brain bucket on my vulcan... i realized the full face was not good for my style on the other bike, and the brain bucket was noisy and left alot in desire for protection. the 3/4 helmet has great versatility and allows a blue tooth device to be installed with its speaker slots on the interior. i will say the shield removed and having the peak on it makes it louder and buffs around a little more. but all in all i highly recommend it.

Full Featured Polycarb Helmet - Great Value
This is my 4th Scorpion helmet and glad to have it. The 2XL CT220 fits my head perfectly with no pressure or hot spots. Easy on and off. As with all products, there are some pros and cons:
Faceshield exchange is the easiest that I've ever had.
Speaker pockets for comm system work well.
Airflow through the top vents is spectacular. First helmet that actually moves hair.
Faceshield coverage is excellent. Extended lower coverage.
Rings and snaps are first rate.
Drop down sun shade offers good coverage. I can ride without the face shield and still protect my vision.
Drop down shield mechanism hangs occasionally and requires a manual pull down of the shield. Not a big issue.
It's a polycarb helmet which is only good as the first hit.
It's a polycarb helmet which is noisy as heck. Got to go fiberglass for better impact and noise protection.
There are no instructions for the little 1-3 position dial for the inner shield. Is 1 high or is 3 high?
Overall, this is a great value in a polycarb helmet. If you're like me and can't shell out the 500 bucks for a good fiberglass 3/4 helmet, this is the one to buy.
btw, the high-vis helmet is sharp looking and performs its function. Several people have complimented on how it makes them notice when in their cage.

Cool but loud
I'm not used to wearing a helmet, but I got this to use the Harley communication system with my wife on my Ultra. The helmet fit fine but I was surprised how loud the wind noise was channeling through the vents. It was so loud I thought I was getting static on the VOX. Otherwise for a ¾ helmet it performed fine on a thousand mile 4-day ride. The temperature got up to 98 degrees and while it was hot, I think the helmet performed well. I would have been just as hot without it. I can't recommend this helmet based on the amount of noise with the vents open. Riding without a helmet, I'm used to a lot of noise. I would have thought a ¾ helmet would have been more quiet, not louder.

Some concerns about options for use
I have a modular helmet but I found myself leaving it open most of the time so I decided to try an open face helmet. I watched the review and this helmet seemed to get the highest praise and bang for the buck. I really wanted to just use the visor and the flip down sun screen but since it's tinted, that's not very good at night. You can't have the visor and the clear shield on at the same time so when I switched them out, the clear shield catches a ton of air, is extremely noisy when flipped up, and it feels very stuffy with poor air flow when down. I debated about sending the helmet back but for the price will just use it on daytime trips only with the visor and the flip down sun screen.
