A.R.O.S (Anti-Roll-Off-System)

The Anti-Roll-Off-System especially developed by SCHUBERTH is provided as a safety feature in every SCHUBERTH motorcycle helmet. It ensures that provided the chinstrap is closed and correctly adjusted:

  • the helmet cannot pivot off the head from behind
  • the risk of contact between the chin section of the helmet and the chin or neck of the rider is minimized due to small angle of tilt
  • the consequences of the helmet coming into contact with the chest as the result of an accident are reduced.
  • the helmet is fastened by a micro-lock ratchet lock

Outer shell

  • The outer shell of the Schuberth C3 Helmet combines an aerodynamically optimal shape suitable for racing with excellent protection.
  • Material: S.T.R.O.N.G.-Fibre
  • New helmet shell technology from SCHUBERTH permits low weight
  • Glass fibre with a special resin added is compressed in a vacuum at a pressure of 6 bar to form a helmet shell which is exceptionally sturdy.

Finally a helmut that is worth the money I know this helmut is expensive but considering that you have the thing on all of the time you are riding it is worth ever penny. THe helmut, in my opinion, was slightly small. I know a helmut is supposed to fit tight but... I like the integral sunshade and the quality of the helmut. The helmut is very comfortable and that is the biggest reason other than the quality I think it is worth the money. July 23, 2012
Excellent build quality, compact, light and comfortable, very quiet. This is the best helmet I have ever owned. Despite the small volume, top and chin ventilations are very effective. Excellent sound proofing. I only wish the face shield could stay open at higher speeds. July 23, 2012
Great helmet, worthy investment I feel that I scoured the market looking for a new helmet with top protection, great looks and features. I'm big on safety and I think that's what kept me coming back to decide on this helmet. Sure it's pricey, but I don't feel that I can put a price on my safety. It has an anti-roll system, fog prevention, low noise levels, low wind drag, good visibility, all in a fibre glass shell. I easily could have saved money going with a helmet that has fewer features, but when it comes down to it, you buy a helmet in the event that you *might* have to use it and if that day comes I want my helmet to pull out all the stops protecting me. I had to return for a larger size initially, but after consulting the size cart again I found that it does reflect a true fit. The helmet is very comfortable and looks fantastic. I love the graphic work Schuberth did on this helmet. It's a wonderfully designed/engineered helmet. Highly recommend! July 12, 2012
Awesome helmet! This is the most comfortable helmet I've ever worn. When I first put it on, it seemed a little tight, but over the course of a short ride it had conformed to my head shape and fits perfectly. Following the sizing guide and the measuring video provided by Revzilla you can get the perfect fit. Mornings in AK can be a little cool but with the Pinlock visor there is no fogging to obstruct your vision. You get what you pay for, Great helmt! July 2, 2012
My Helmet is extremely Loud! The helmet was everythng that RevZilla and Motorcycle Mags reviews boosted except the incredible LOUD noise factor... I love everything about the helmet except the swirling sound that drives me crazy... I saved up for this helmet for all the great safety features and the options that are available. And I guess for those reasons I won't return it. My other helmets are much less expensive and are much much quieter.. Love the helmet but absolutely hate the nosie.. June 28, 2012
If you have the money and it fits,, buy it. It took a while to find the right helmet and the right size to fit me. The Schuberth C3 World is a very good helmet. Buying any black helmet has the disadvantage of soaking up the heat in the summer and this helmet is no exception. It is very light so you can wear it for longer periods of time. I happen to like maps so I spent the extra $50 for the World, but otherwise, you should just opt for the color you like best. The chin strap click on the quick release are nice features for me, but some people prefer the D ring so that they can use it for locking the helmet. I don't have bluetooth or any sound system yet so I can't comment on that aspect of the helmet. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase and with the help I received at Revzilla. June 27, 2012
Great helmet! I had been eyeballing this helmet for quite some time trying decide if I was going to pull the trigger on such a pricey lid. I finally decided to go for it. Ordered it on a monday, got it on wed, and left on a 1300 mile trip on thur. I can honestly say it's a great helmet. The build quality is great, it's comfortable the sun visor works great. I got caught in about 4 hours of pretty hard rain and the screen didn't fog up and the helmet didn't leak. I'm just really pleased with this purchase. I would say it's a pretty quiet helmet. I ride a Multistrada 1200 which are known to have some wind noise anyway and the helmet helped with that some. I did still wear ear plugs on such a long trip. If it's in your budget this is a fantastic helmet. Can't wait to take another trip in it. June 1, 2012

I own the helmet and would like to add a communication system, I would like to use the Scala G9 so I can use it on my snowmobile helmet too. Is this possible? My concern is the sun visor slide.

Answer: 
The G9 will not work on the C3 Helmet because of the visor button/slider if you use the clamp. You do, however, have the option of using the sticky pad and attaching the module that way. Keep in mind this isn't the most sturdy option, but at least it's something. In all honesty, your best bet is going with the Schuberth SRC System for C3

the SR10 to a portable CB and bluetooth it using the PTT to the helmet. I'd also like to stream music and calls from my iPhone 4S. Would the SENA SR10 paired with the Schuberth SRC communications system accomplish my goal?

Answer: 
No, you will not be able to pair the Sena SR10 with the Schuberth SRC Communications System. The SR10 offers only a mono connectivity. Also, the SR10 will only work with FRS and GMRS frequency for CB communications.
