Rukka Women's Air-Y Jacket
This jacket is incredible. The jacket does not 'look' breathable at all - - do not be fooled! The Cordura AFT isn't see-through like some mesh, so it makes the jacket look like a normal riding jacket, plus it seems MUCH more durable than other mesh. Air flow was excellent, this is definitely a hot weather riding jacket. In terms of funtionality, everything about this jacket is perfect for me. Some of my favorite features are: zippers at cuff vs. velcro, magnetic closure at collar vs. snap, double sets of snaps on arms for width adjustment vs. single snap or velcro, the light backing on the inside of Goretex liner, incredible armor, and the style! Husband says I look like a super hero!
I had to order one size smaller than I anticipated. I am 140 pounds, 5'8", broad shouldered - the 36 fits perfectly.

Women's Style and Protection great
I’ve had the Rukka Women's Air-Y Jacket for a month and have worn it on at least ten rides. I ride a KTM 990 Adventure, and a KTM 690 Enduro so I’m always looking for ways to stay cool and protected. I’ve never owned a mesh jacket and I just can’t believe how incredibly cooling this jacket is. I used the size guide to figure out what my size is, and it fits perfectly. I was first impressed with the quality and durability of the fabric, stitching. The attention to detail is worth every penny and I think this jacket will last many years! When I’m riding, I want a jacket to fit with comfort, while being functional and most of all protective. Early morning when it’s cool, the Gore-Tex liner comes in handy, and in the afternoon when it is hot, simply remove the liner and the jacket breathes almost like you aren’t wearing one. I like the adjustability of the sleeves at the elbows. It helps keep the elbow pads positioned properly on my elbow when I layer up or down. The zipper on the Gore-Tex liner is easy to use, and I like that the liner is completely waterproof, which makes riding in the Pacific Northwest enjoyable on those spring days when rain happens. I think Rukka knows how to fit riding gear for women, knowing we can still have functionality and safety while riding with fashionable clothing, not just wearing men’s gear sized down. Thanks Rukka for designing protective, flattering, and feminine riding gear!

good quality and cool design
great fitting jacket, after speaking to a Revzilla gear person I went for size 36, I am 5.3ft tall, 118lbs and the jacket fits perfectly.Good airflow and with the liner good for cooler weather, so far I am happy with this Jacket. Hoping for more Rukka riding gear in the future.

Best mesh jacket but...
Don't expect it to be perfect.
1. Dont believe anybody telling you that protectors are easy to remove and put back in. They're not. Putting them back in is pain in the a.
2. the belt which keeps jacket down when it is not zipped - when not used irritates my back.
3. Gore-tex liner is kept in place in front by two spring loaded buttons (down close to waist). Ny time you bed over to reach something be prepared that one of them will unlatch.
4. Gore-lockout - it irritates mu throat when fully closed. The lower metal part of the lock can and will scratch your tank.
5. One seam on the cuff was ripped when i go my jacket - no biggy i repaired it myself.
But anyway it is the best mesh jacket on the market.

I have the Armiina jacket, not this one, but I wanted to comment on Rukka sizing. I ended up with a jacket one size smaller than my measurements indicated and it fits perfectly and is even somewhat relaxed. The quality of Rukka is outstanding and better than any other jacket, in my opinion. It is very comfortable, as well. Measure, then order one size smaller.
