GREAT 3 Season Pant
I have a pair of these. I really like them, and I've had them since spring.
Based on my 3 seasons so far, I'd say these are really great - like all Rukka products- but not suitable for summer use, in spite of the advertised "vents". I wore these pants on a weekend ride of about 900-1000 miles in June, in pretty hot temps. This was Harrisburg, PA to the Adirondaks in NY state, and back. They were much too warm, in fact the venting did pretty much nothing to counter the heat. Admittedly, I was behind the fairing of my R100RS, but still- I felt zero air coming thru the vents, no matter what I tried to facilitate air flow.
Beyond that these are totally awesome pants for spring, and fall, and probably OK for winter to, tho I don't ride much in full winter living as I do in the Mid Atlantic region of the USA East Coast.
Rukka gear is of outstanding quality. The fit n finish is far above average, and really cannot be beat. The sizing is a bit of an issue tho- my pants are size 50 SHORT. Shoulda gotten the regular length. My waist size is 30-32 depending on the cut of the pants. I weigh about 155.The "short" length rides up just a little bit on my legs when seated on the bike- but I wear taller boots so it's not really an issue- tho for certain, the "regular" length would be a bit better for me.
These are absolutely waterPROOF, BTW. They're made of GoreTex and it's worth it to spend the xtra $$ to insure yourself of total dry comfort in nasty weather. I have Rukka pants, jacket, and gloves- no more "rain gear" for me!
There's only a single pocket, but my coat has plenty. The liner is removable so that does help if it gets warmer out. The suspenders are comfortable, and the pants and Rukka jackets zip together. I gave lower ratings for features because these are a no frills pant with little storage space, and venting is weak.
Like all Rukka gear I have seen, these have reflective elements to help you be seen in bad weather or at night.
I live near enough to Philly that I can pretty easily run down the to try stuff on, so the EU sizing is of little consequence to me- but I get that it's a definite issue for some who cannot actually try stuff on before buying.

Excellent pair of top shelf Gore-Tex Pro riding pants
You get what you pay for. These pants replaced a pair of Rukka Argonaut pants that I bought this summer. I could only find them in C2 (regular length), and that ended being a bit too short for me. I like the styling of the Argonaut pants over the Armaxion, but both are very nice. Excellent top shelf quality. 100% waterproof. I find these run true to size if you follow the Rukka sizing guide and don't fool yourself. If you're on the upper border then go to the next larger size. I'm 6'3" so require the C3 (long). C2 will probably work for you if you're no taller than 6'1". They can go as cold as you're willing to suffer on 2 wheels. On the other spectrum they get to be too warm in my opinion over 90 degrees F. I paired these with the Argonaut Jacket which is also super high quality. Hands down the best riding jacket I've even worn or seen. I have been in some serious downpours in Canada and Alaska with this gear on, and came away 100% dry and warm. I prefer the slick exterior to all the useless pockets some adventure models have. You just can't beat the D3O armor that comes with these (which are all removable). The suspenders are a nice touch, and are also removable if you don't like them. I highly recommend these if you have the cash. Not needing to stop to throw wet weather gear on is priceless imho.

I recently upgraded my gear to Rukka. I have an Airway jacket and then the Armaxion pants. I went with the Armaxion pants instead of the Airvision pants because I wanted a pair of pants that was waterproof as it's a little harder to pull over and swap a pants liner than a jacket liner. I will probably end up getting the Armaxion jacket this fall.
I had to go with a size 54 instead of 52 to get over my thighs. I'm 5'8" and 185lbs. I went with 54 short. When i'm on the bike the length is good, the knee armor ends just above my Sidi or Alpinestar boots.
Suspenders are great and help to keep the pants in the right position.

Dean d:I do not have any direct experience with that - however I am fairly certain that all Rukka jacket and pants combos zip together in a standard fashion. As I have two different jackets that both work with the single pair of pants. Best to call Revzilla and ask them to actually try it out - they are great and will go into the warehouse to actually do it themselves.Nov 13, 2014
"" ":I don't know for certain that the Armaxion and the Merlin are compatible but I believe all the zippers are the same. I advise you to call Revzilla and ask a gear sales person for a definitive answer. Nov 14, 2014
