I <3 Mesh
This jacket is wonderful all the way into fall. Like the video review says it runs a little large but not by much. Cold north east fall mornings are no match for this jacket with the inner liner and a sweater on. It provides excellent air flow around your body. So drive in with the liner at 52 degrees then drive home with the liner removed when its 70 and the sun is shining. The foam insert padding is probably the only thing I would change, but that's why its upgrade-able.

AWESOME summer mesh jacket with mazimum airflow! Highly recommend!
This is my third River Road jacket and it again exceeded expectations. I am 5'9 and 175 and bought the all black version in small. I believe River Road makes great gear at very reasonable price points. My preference is to keep things simple but functional. I don’t like a bunch of logos/badges on my gear. I would encourage you to watch the Revzilla video on this product. The two areas where you could be disappointed are in the fit of the jacket and the lack of CE armor. I found this Jacket to run large, and would recommend you order one size smaller than you would normally. I normally wear a medium and the small fit fine. The jacket does not come with armor. It has EVA foam that needs to be upgraded or use armor from another jacket. It has large pockets for armor in the shoulders, elbows and back.
This jacket excels in airflow which is why I bought it. I needed a jacket to wear in the Texas summer. The abrasion resistant polyester mesh allows for maximum airflow. I like the style of the jacket and often get compliments on its design and simplicity. It also has a full sleeved liner that offers warmth in cooler temperatures. High quality zippers and the Velcro sizing adjustments work well. I recommend this jacket and was 100% satisfied. Great jacket at a great closeout price.

Great for warm weather
I got this jacket after not really liking the one I had (power trip something). Coming from that one, this is much more comfortable, but doesn't flow as much air. I think the looks are great, and it works fine, but just wish it flowed a little better. The non-removable part of the liner is perforated, but still doesn't flow enough for me.

Also, the velcro and gussets on the sleeves are a bit annoying. I wish they had gone with zippers, and a thinner material.

Excellent above 75
I bought this to augment my three-season (colder weather) jacket, and it has served well in temps above 75. Comfortable with just a t-shirt underneath when recently riding in 90+ degrees. The full mesh does just what you'd expect - keeps the air flowing while you're moving. The fit is a bit boxy, but for the price it was a good purchase. Recently put in 1300 miles in a week with this jacket, in temperatures ranging from 60 - 90 degrees; worked fine with the assistance of a couple layers underneath in the morning (sweatshirt and long sleeve t-shirt).

Verygood product for the price. The inner liner is perfect for the cool mornings, and with out it the air flow is very good for a hot day.

Great for hot days
This jacket is the best thing since sliced bread to give you great airflow on those hot days while keeping the sun off. I never would have thought that it would work as well as it does and give you the added protection with the built in pads. The zip out lining is great for those cool mornings and evenings as well. Sizes run slightly bigger in mens and at least a full size smaller in women's.

SIze "M" fits 5'8", 185 lbs. 33 in sleeve
I'm a much happier summer rider with this mesh jacket. I just took the CE armor from my Joe Rocket jacket and slipped it into here. It does come with light armor, but not CE.

Anyway, it has a nice zip-out liner. And, there are pockets on the mesh shell, so even with the liner zipped out, there are pockets.

I really don't know how it fit the guy in the video preview for this jacket. I'm 5'8" 185 with a 33" sleeve and this Medium it fits me perfect. Not snug, not loose. Just right.

Received the jacket just in time to wear on my recent trip to the mountains in Tennessee and North Carolina. Air flow was excellent and the jacket was very comfortable. Just the right number and placement of pockets. Best mesh jacket I have found, as I have a few others that do not allow air flow as well. I will tell others about it.

Because I live in Florida which is a hot weather climate. Also, because the rating on this jacket is favorable. I also really like the styling.

Actually it's a bit too loose on me, so maybe switching to the baron model, due to the extra tighter features..

Description states Armor is upgradable. What are the part numbers for the CE Armor to fit this jacket?
william t on Mar 31, 2015
What is the difference between this jacket and the river road Baron mesh jacket?
Aditya P on Dec 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It looks to me that it is the same body with the mesh. The sleeves are solid on the backside (no mesh) and they have the reflective stripes. I did not see this jacket when I purchased my Sedona or I may have bought this one. Close out price really good. I like my jacket a lot. The liner is insulated but still light weight for packing on a trip. No need to carry my heavy leather jacket anymore.
what type of zippers are on this jack?
A shopper on Mar 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The zipper is a heavy nylon/plastic type with fairly wide tooth-spacing. It has a smooth action and feels solid.
