REV'IT! Xena Women's Leather Pants
Terrific Pants for Aggressive Street Riding
I bought these pants to provide increased safety for more aggressive street riding. So far they've exceeded all my expectations. Unlike others, I've had no issues with stitching coming undone or the snap not staying fastened. I'm a curvy size 4 and I, too, had to return my first pair due to fitment issues. I originally ordered a size 40, but they were too tight in the hips, so I returned them for a size 42. These are loose in the waist, but the side adjustment tabs easily take care of that. I've worn these pants on days with high humidity where the temperatures topped triple digit as well as cool, cloudy days where we never made it above 65. I have no complaints at all on their breathability. I have 3 pairs of riding pants in my gear closet, and I've noticed that unless the forecast calls for moderate to heavy rain, I'm always reaching for these. I just love them. And being a short person who's barely 5' 1", I love that they're available in short sizes. They fit perfectly in both my Dainese touring boots and Sidi race boots. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to anyone looking for great street protection.

Comfortable, but not durable and missing key features
I ordered the white/green pants, jacket, and gloves last summer. I love the color combination, the 360 zipper, and the comfort of this suit. They fit a little loose on me, which I don't mind too much, and I don't use the 360 zipper. I mention this because I've noticed the stitching coming undone on the front of the pants. I could maybe understand if they were tight and stretching all the time, but they're not. And even if they were tight, I'd expect the stitching to last. Thank goodness I haven't had to try the durability in a crash, but the broken stitching makes me wonder how they'd hold up if I did.
I do like the fit. I'm short and love that the pants fit me and can fit inside my boots without bunching up in the knee.
As far as features go, I miss my old jacket which had a pocket along the left zipper inside the jacket. It made grabbing my credit card for gas quick and easy. With this jacket, I keep my credit card in my front pocket of the jacket.. I don't like it.
One key missing safety feature is there is no reflective material anywhere on this set.
I would recommend this to a more casual rider who doesn't ride at night, but if you ride like I do, I'd look for something different. My issues may seem small, but it's frustrating enough I'm ready to sell this set and look for something new. I put a lot of miles in and the little irritations add up after a while.
I really like the white/green and the overall look of this suit. I would love to be more happy with it overall.

Great protection, tall size isn't very tall
Hey ladies, if you're tall like me, consider your purchase carefully. My inseam is 35 inches (about 6'0-6'1 in height), give or take and the Tall 40 was still too short for me (my legs are hella long, especially from my waist to my knee). I kinda knew it would be short but because I have taller boots (Dainese Rose Boots) I figured I'd just go with it because I wanted a leather pant to give me the confidence I needed to feel safe and protected. I've been on two rides with them so far and I'm hoping they'll stretch some because the hard knee protector made my kneecaps sore after riding for a few hours.
I ordered the Tall 42 as well but it was way too big. My measurements are: waist 27.5, hips 37.5 inches. The Tall 40 fit just right, not tight at all (I am a slender body type: 135lbs, 6 feet tall). Any ladies who are more muscular or heavier, these pants will obviously fit more snug. American brands may fit heavy body types better, rather than Rev'it's Euro sizing. Just think about your riding position, especially in the stomach/hip zone (i.e., pants don't fit the same sitting vs. standing).
I like having the hip protection, although I was sweaty in those protection areas in 70 degree weather/full sun. I just know summer will be brutal in these pants, especially with the black leather, forget it. You WILL be a swamp monster in stop/go traffic. But hey, I'll pay that price for this kind of protection.

Re'vit sizing issues
I want to talk about both the pants and the jacket, since they are meant to be a set.....
So, first I bought the Xena pants online when they were first released last summer., and much internet research, and viewing the fit chart, and talking to the crew at Revzilla, I ordered a 38. (I am 5'2 and 125 lb) . Got them. Too small. Had to wait 6+ months for a 40 to become available. I could JUST barely squeeze into them. While I know they will stretch some, and fit better, they were NOT comfortable last summer riding. This spring they are better (I am skinnier) and have added the hip pads back in. The snap at the waist NEVER ever ever stays done up, so good thing for the latch.... I am happy with the features, and durability etc of the pants - but the fit guide is so inaccurate, and I feel the waist isn't going to fit most women riders....
Thankful for the option of lengths though, and ordered the short. I would say it's almost to long for my height, with boots.
I bought the jacket in a 40 also, because I assumed that the fit chart would be misguided as the pants were. I was even worried the jacket was going to be too small.( my body is proportionate, and generally I wear smalls on top and bottom. [or medium - medium if garments are opposite of Vanity fit.] ) So the jacket is way too big. The 38 might even be too big fitting, for the way a race cut jacket should fit (snug.)....
Aside from that: the neck cuff is probably twice the circumference of my neck, and looks like it could fit a hulking man-beast. The body is very short and will absolutely expose my lower back when riding. (and while I haven't tried zipping the pants and jacket together - since I am not keeping the coat; I expect that the body being short as it is, would be super uncomfortable trying to zip together. The ultimate wedgy...) The protection in the elbows is so big it's awkward, and so stiff it hurt to bend my arms. Would NOT be comfortable to ride in. Painful just to put this coat on and stand there for 1 minute mimicking riding position.
I would say I'm a huge fan of Rev'it in general, and the quality of their products. But I feel like they have really missed the mark, on accuracy for fitting - which is critical these days with the amount of garments that are purchased online. Along with the cut and fit of the jacket being so off.
I would not recommend purchasing either - unless you can try them on physically and be sure what you're buying fits.
For me, it's an added hassle that I am ordering across international boarders, so the cost expended to return things for different sizes, or return for bad fit is excessive- but is the only option for getting good, ladies gear.

Full Xena set and I LOVE IT!!!!!
I purchased the full Xena set, and though I had to exchange items a couple of times with RevZilla, the process was a breeze. These pants fit incredibly, and I feel so protected in them. The zipper attachment for the Xena (or other Rev'It Jackets) works all the way around the circumference of your body, or just along the back. I use the all-around, which helps keep the front of the pants from riding down while mounted (the leather at the top of the pants does leave my hips bruised from the tightness otherwise) but other than that, I have no complaints - and this isn't really a complaint, as the jacket alleviates it. I've worn the full set, under-armor heat gear beneath it, through day rides. (You will want base layer or the jacket and pants will both stick to you like tar in the heat.) Up to about 95 degrees, in the wind, in the sun I'm fine. I sweat, but the gear breathes really well, and I stay cooler than my friends in Stryker Vests and jeans. lol The pants do seem to run small, but RevZilla makes it easy to get the right size, and RevIt offers one of the only lines available for women not in bland or women's colors.

Good piece of gear
To start with, I really like these pants, but I do have a few nitpicks. First of all, at this price point, you would think the slider pucks would be included rather than an extra $60. Secondly, for the first time ever, I think you could bounce a quarter off my rear end in these pants, not because it is that hard, but because the pants are such a tight fit. I wish these were a little more gender neutral in their fit, like how guys' race gear is fitted, rather than so tight that you need to be greased up to slide into them. These things are cut to be super tight. I busted out the measuring tape before I ordered and according to the size chart I was in between a 40 and a 42 (I'm 5'8" and 155lbs). I went with the 42 and it was still super tight, but the next size up just seemed way too loose and baggy. Like most leather, it loosens up a bit with wear, but still tighter than I would prefer. (Be sure to be wearing a base layer so they slide up easily or be prepared to shimmy and contort like you're trying to squeeze into a dress three sizes too small.) Third, as someone mentioned earlier, they are a bit on the short side. I didn't notice it until after I had committed to keeping the pants, but the bottom of the pant leg is barely inside of my boots. If I had a do-over, I would opt for the longs.
Nitpicking aside, these are great pants where you can feel the quality workmanship that contributes to having a sense of security when you're wearing these. The hip and knee padding are high quality, which is good since the tight fit prevents you from being able to add additional armor/padded shorts, etc. They breathe better than I was expecting and have a subtle appearance. I'm willing to throw down money to have safety gear that I am confident will work and that is comfortable and stylish enough that I will actually wear and these fit the bill, as well as the quality construction will probably last me as long as I can fit in them.

These are my first pants, so I don't have much to compare to. I ordered the largest size I could in the tall, 42 tall, and it barely fit. I had to lay down to zip them. BUT after wearing them for a day, they zipped fine the next time, so they have a little give (as leather does). The design is great and they definitely look awesome with the xena jacket. Would recommend!

Excellent quality riding pants!
I started with a 36, those were way too tight, couldn't get them past the hips. The 38 fit better, but still tight. I'm about 128 lbs, 5'6", athletic build. I find if you wear something next to your skin (gym capris, or summer long underwear type), then they are much easier to drag over your skin. I love the velcro knee patches, with the option of pucks (sold separately). These pants zip into my older Rev'it Allure Jacket (I bought on consignment). My older jacket doesn't have the 360 zipper, just the short one in back. The pants fit great everywhere (only had 2 rides in them so far, in 85 degree heat), but they need some breaking in around the hip-bone area..mine stick out alittle too much. I was torn between the Gear 2's and these. I'm glad I got these because its so much better to be able to tuck the pants into the boots :)
