Ladies, these pants are awesome. Just wore them for the first time this weekend at a dirt bike course. It was pretty chilly out and was doing a lot of slow speed work (dropping the bike!) and these pants kept me warm and comfortable. They were also very comfy while on the bike, didn't pull or restrict me in any way. I'm 5.7" (34" inseam) and decided to buy the Long. I tried on Regular length at my local BMW dealership and and felt they were too short. The long gave me really good ankle coverage while on the bike and fit easily over my boots. I can imagine in rainy weather I'll really appreciate the length even more.I have the matching Ventura jacket. I couldn't be happier with this gear. February 10, 2014
Mostly happy Aussie customer but chose size carefully My husband and I are touring type riders (I ride a BMW G650GS) and for me finding clothing specifically for women has required online shopping outside of Australia. I was quite nervous about this but after reading many positive reviews about Revzilla I decided to give it a go. The Ventura pants and jacket are exactly what I've been looking for but I did come up against a bit of a problem with sizing for the pants. I am an Australian size 12 top and bottom. With the Revzilla sizing chart I should be a size 42 bottom and a size 44 top. I got measured up and matched my sizing against the Revzilla size chart but when my pants arrived they were just a little bit too snug around my tummy. These pants are quite high on the waist and sitting in them was quite uncomfortable around my midsection which is not ideal for the long hours of riding I intend to do. I had no issues sending the pants back (apart from the extremely expensive shipping costs) and had excellent customer service from the Revzilla crew. I received the new pants in the size up and they fit ok (not great), but again they sit quite high on my waist. I do have to adjust the straps all the way in when I'm not wearing the liners and most of the way in when I am. I also had to go through a third party shipping company as these pants aren't, unfortunately, shipped directly to Australia. Overall I am, mostly, happy with the pants and am now looking to purchase the matching Ventura jacket for an upcoming four month tour of the US. I have worn Rev'It clothing and highly recommend the brand but suggest you get in touch with the Revzilla crew if you're unsure of sizing. Don't forget to think about the extra room you will need with the waterproof and thermal liners. Hope this helps. December 25, 2013
Wanted to Love, but issues I purchased these pants to pair with my Ventura Jacket (42) for an 8 day riding trip in Canada on my K75 BMW. I am 5'10" 160 lbs. I originally ordered a size 40 Long, unfortunately they were a bit snug. No hassel exchange for the 42, but they do not make a 42 Long. I received them the day before our trip. I initially thought they fit great! Comfy with/without rain & thermal liners. Great venting, pockets, snaps, reflecting... After an hour into our ride I noticed the knee protection resting on my thigh. No where near my knee cap. The hem of the pants also riding up a good 4 inches from my ankle bone. HIGH WATERS! Even after adjusting the interior Velcro knee guard pockets to the lowest position. No matter how hard I tried to "shake" my pants down or push the knee guards over my knees, no success while riding. While sitting in a chair or walking around, no problems. But these were intended for riding. Super bummed :( Also the gray was a bad choice. After day two of riding through some gravel, my pants managed to rub the dust off my red tank. Leaving a pink tint on the inseam of the pants. Lastly, a couple seams have already come apart. I'm not sure if this is a manufacture defect or just normal wear and tear. For only owning them for just over two weeks... I love and hate them at the same time. They look sweet (when I'm not riding), great protection (if the knee guards stayed in place), definitely water proof with the liner, stayed warm even when it was snowing in the Icefields! Love these pants!! I'll start by saying I wear these as a stand-alone pant and not as an over pant. However, I could imagine wearing something very thin under them. The fabric is very light and they fit wonderfully. The waist is quite high, but when the temps drop, I'm sure I'll appreciate that. I really appreciate the additional freedom of movement I get from wearing pants that have some stretch to them as well. The thigh vents are great, and when combined with raising the ankle zippers to the knees while keeping the Velcro loosely fastened, I stayed quite comfortable in 80+ temps. These pants are a dream! I love that Revit has Short-Regular-Tall lengths for women... These pants are comfortable for all day running around town or on a trip. Great ventilation, easy to wear, and perfect length options for those of use with 28" inseams! June 24, 2013
Great Quality and Warmth The quality of the materials and design are awesome. Wife very happy with functionality February 11, 2013
Great pants but a little baggy I've had these pants in white for several months now and have really enjoyed them. My only problem with these is that they run large on me in the waist/hips. I have a smaller waist and round booty and should have gone one size smaller in the sizing as they are a bit too baggy up top. The only reason I give these a 4 star. Otherwise these are very versatile and extraordinarily comfortable and warm (and I'm cold all the time). I've ridden in sustained highway speeds in 45 degree weather with the poofy and waterproof liner and been very comfortable. Also ridden with these comfortably in the low 80's w/o liners and they are great here too. November 17, 2012
This product has good features Overall this is a good product. I noticed for myself it ran a little small. I would recommend this product. October 1, 2012

A shopper asked: I am 5"11 with a 34" inseam. I read a review on a magazine site that said these pants have a 33" inseam if you choose a long size. The size chart says that the inseam for long sizes is 30". Can someone tell me what the long inseam measures? I would probably wear a size 38. Thanks. Nov 20, 2013

Richard M: I have a 33 1/2" inseam and I ordered the long size. I was able to try them on at a motorcycle rally before purchasing them. They are long enough for me, covering my boot, but not touching the ground. I actually like the pants very much. Hope this helps.

A shopper asked: I live in a hot climate and it seems that the Ventura pant may fit my frame. However without all liners in is it a HOT weather pant? Is the material breathable or is the only ventilation the 2 side zippers? Mar 30, 2012

RevZilla: The REV'IT! Ladies Ventura Pant is fine for warm temperatures as long as you are moving. Ali here at RevZilla wears these as her daily commuter pants and states that they work well up to about 85 degrees with the vents open here in the North East. In weather that is more humid, over 85 degrees, or stop and go traffic, a full mesh pant is a much better option. The material will breathe some, but it's not the same as a mesh pant. We suggest taking a look at the REV'IT! Ladies Airwave pants for hot weather riding. Apr 4, 2012

A shopper asked: I have Revit Tornado Pants in 34, it`s a little small for me in hips, but very good in knees. 36 size of Tornado was a too wide in knees, i hadn`t enough protection there. Ventura is the same model like Tornado, or it`s tighter, and i need to buy 36 size? Thanks for answer. Mar 4, 2012

RevZilla: For a detailed breakdown of fit and specific size recommendations, we recommend you contact one of our Product Specialists directly at cs@revzilla.com or 877.792.7955. Generally speaking, the Ventura has a closer, more technical fit compared to the Tornado Ladies pant. You might consider sizing up for the Ladies Ventura Pant. May 2, 2012

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
