My "must have" requirements were a) a wrist closure that would accomodate *both* large gauntleted gloves and slide-under-the-jacket gloves, b) separate rain liner from the warmth liner so that I could swap out the warmth liner for my Gerbing (thick wire era) electric liner (long sleeve).
The jacket more than met my requirements and the design features are impressive (interior pockets, easy to find with a gloved hand zipper pulls, removeable cold-weather collar, good reflective areas). I'm a B-cup - I don't fill out the jacket in front. If you have a C-cup chest I don't think you will feel smashed in this jacket.
I am barely aware of the jacket when I'm riding. I'm warm with the non-electric liner down to the mid-40 degree range. Replace the warmth liner with an electric long sleeve liner and I'm good to go into the 30's. I love the wrist closures. Rev'it has designed the best touring jacket for a woman's body I have found.

I've been riding for 36 years. Always wore leather jacket. Love the comfort of the REV'IT with its light weight. The safety pads provide protection needed in case of an accident. The thermal liner AND rain liner are easy to remove and re-attach.

Unbelievable details, workmanship is unparalleled, fits great (I got one size larger than size chart to allow for occasional heavier underlayer and per Revzilla rep's suggestion that fit is snug). I love everything about it! So worth the money.

This jacket fits fairly snug, but is very comfortable when worn over a form-fitting lightweight shirt. The removable liner and separate waterproof membrane make the jacket very versatile; I've been really pleased at the range of temperatures it works in. The waterproof membrane adds warmth in addition to rain protection, though I've not yet had the opportunity to test it in a downpour.
In response to the reviewer that stated the men's jacket features are better, I would argue that the venting in the women's sleeve is superior to the men's.
The protective features seem very well thought out and capable of doing the job, though I did choose to upgrade the back protector. I'm impressed with the array of useful features that Rev'It provided in this jacket and will definitely consider more Rev'It products in the future. And it's really nice to see that Rev'It is providing more than just entry-level products for women!

We bought this for my wife as passenger and this jacket held up amazing while riding a 500 mile day through one of the hurricanes a few months ago. It is still has an internal rain liner, and obviously the external rain suite would likely be superior in such extreme conditions, but this jacket and zip in pants allowed my passenger/wife to be a much much happier person back there. During and after the ride.
Seems pricey up front, but it is definitely cut for a women's shape and that alone makes it worth the extra money. If you are looking for some quality gear that fits, with the bells and whistles, the extra cash is worth every dollar. And it is appreciated during every minute on the road.
The guys at the Revzilla storefront were awesome in fitting the wife up and seemed to tailor the selection pretty well with the type riding we would be doing.

Nice women's adventure jacket, but not as good as the men's version (Defender). The Defender has much better venting and other features that make is a superior jacket. Come on Rev'it, you know you can make a women's version of the Defender. While the Ventura is nice, compromises were made to keep the price down. Women appreciate, and are prepared to pay for, great quality, too. P.S. My husband has the Defender and just loves it.

She loves it! We've been looking for a women's jacket that was somewhat comparable to my Cayenne jacket, and hadn't found much until we tried the Ventura jacket. I was making her wear some of the men's Rev'It clothes in smaller sizes hooping to provide her with something of quality and durability. This jacket is a definite improvement from a fit perspective, and is equal in quality and versatility to the jackets in the Rev'It men's line.
We got the Ventura and the following week took a 1,100 mile trip to Quebec. The jacket worked very well during the cooler parts of the day. During the warmest times, the jacket was a little hot, although not unexpected for a jacket that will work into the 30's and maybe into the 20's. The airflow is an improvement from others we've tried (and it's clear that the Rev'It designers spent time getting this jacket right). The removable collar and vents made the heat bearable and was very easy to manage getting off and back on. Liners are easy to install and remove. Plenty of pockets make this a great touring or adventure-touring jacket for ladies. The quality is what you'd expect from a high-end manufacturer - great design, materials and construction.

The quality and fit on this jacket rocks. I cannot believe I have finally found a woman's jacket that fits and makes sense. I can't add much to what the previous reviewer stated. I agree with all that she said. This jacket is spot on! Hope to see more styled with this quality and fit. Kudos.
