This jacket seems great from the description and pictures. The build quality is amazing. The sizing and fit models revit use continue to be trouble for me. I have never been able to make their products work well for me.
good stuff if you can get it to fit. I can't seem to.

Rev'It! seems to be of higher quality than say, an A-star, but just short of perhaps a Dainese. But provides more value than either. This is the best venting leather I've had, but the fit is odd. Rev'It! size chart suggests a 54 for my 43-44 chest size. Chest was sized well enough, but the waist is too large, and the neck is too tight. My neck is slightly larer than average. I'm 5'-9" @ ~190lbs, wear 16"x33" dress shirt, and have a 35" waist. So, fit is my only complaint. The materials and armor are good, the craftsmanship is not easily surpassed by other brands. This Union jacket was thankfully NOT made in China, but in Vietnam.

i should preface this review by saying, this is my first jacket, and i've never tried on motorcycle jackets before. I liked the flexibility it gave me in the arm area in the back, which other standard black leather jackets didn't necessarily have. this jacket is slightly too big for me and should have a tighter fit. (i'm around 110 lbs 5' 3" i purchased a size 34) It would have been nicer to be tighter at the waist (its not as slimming as the picture shows). the annoying part of the jacket is the neck area isn't tight around the neck but directly pushes into the front part making it uncomfortable. i liked that it was a standard black leather jacket, nothing too flashy and something that could last a while. It kept me warm riding in 60 degree weather with slight rain so overall i'm satisfied.

This is my first motorcycle jacket but I truly think it's awesome! The fit and shape are very flattering; however, even though I carefully checked the size chart and measured myself as best I could, I had to return the first one I ordered because it was way too big (I had over an inch all around and the arms were too long, thus making the protecting padding on the shoulders and elbows not protective at all, since they were nowhere near my shoulders/elbows). Now that I've found my actual size, it fits great: snug but comfortable! Plus, it looks really good! (My only issue with it is the collar: although it has two settings, even the loosest one feels a bit tight around my neck, which is a bit strange considering the jacket fits so well otherwise. Also, you do have to break it in, as the leather is supple yet thick; yet according to what I've read, this is normal.) I totally recommend it!

Although this is my first leather moto jacket (textile previously), I am very happy with the Union. The jacket fit is consistent with Rev'It apparel: more of a trim, Euro spec, and plenty of style (I have their Mistral pants and am very happy with those too). I am 6'3" 195lbs and the size 54 is perfect, albeit snug with the liner in--which limits additional winter layering options. The Revzilla guys were very helpful while choosing the correct size. However, I do wish the sleeves were an inch longer to accommodate my apey 36" (biz shirt) sleeve size, but I only notice this while wearing my short summer gloves; full or mid-gauntlet gloves will solve this. One of the few nits with the jacket relates to venting options. Besides compromising protection by unzipping the main zipper a bit while leaving the collar buttoned, there are no venting options on this jacket. So far I've worn it without the liner in temps ranging from 45 - 80 F and it's been comfortable with a t-shirt underneath--a subsequent ride in mid 40s was made more comfortable with the internal liner attached. I feel like the price is right for this great looking jacket.

This is exactly the jacket I had been looking for. I had tried on a ton of other jackets, from spendy Dainese jackets, to extraordinarily stiff Vanson leathers. I wanted a leather jacket that didn't have huge shoulder cuffs, so I could wear the thing to/from my bike and not look like a gorilla. Also, even though some of the Dainese jackets came close, they didn't seem to have quite as snug a fit as I wanted. If I'm paying $600 I want the thing to fit perfectly. Finally I found the Union. It has a softer leather than on most other jackets, which allows it to be comfortable and not look too ridiculous. The fit is very comfortable, and the kicker is that Revzilla has such a good price on this that it's nearly in a budget brand category. However, the jacket looks and wears like a high-end Italian brand. I couldn't be happier with it!

I love this jacket. I shopped around a lot and this was far superior in leather quality and construction than anything in this price range.
I thought the arms were a tiny bit long, but when riding it is perfect. Extremely comfortable.
I upgraded to sas-tec elbow armor because the original armor was a little hard and hurt my elbow. The Revzilla staff was great in helping me make this switch and it arrived in a few days.
Pros Rugged, Great Value, Comfortable

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
