Good wind protection and choice of liners
When I first tried this jacket on, I felt the buckles on the forearms pressing into my arms and thought it was going to be uncomfortable. However, I did not notice them at all while riding, and overall the jacket is comfortable to ride in and provides good wind protection. I like the two liners; I have been using only the waterproof layer for warmth and may never need the thermal liner, but it's nice to know I have it. The one thing I would change is to make at least one of the pockets big enough to hold a cell phone. The outer pockets are barely big enough to put your hand in; you can't really store anything in them. The inner pocket is ok for temporarily holding sunglasses, but it won't secure a cell phone.

Excellent Jacket
Pros - Love the fit and feel of the jacket. Lots of adjustments.
Cons - Liner doesn't have a zip or snaps, just folds over itself. I added some Velcro and now it's much better.

All the bells and whistles
This is my first touring jacket and I am in love! The RevIt Sand jacket for ladies has a lot going on, I joked at first that it needs an instruction manual, however after wearing it a bit I realize the features are what make it such a great touring jacket. I added the RevIt Seesoft back protector (size 4) to maximize the armor and its a perfect addition. The elbow and shoulder armor stays in place when putting jacket on and taking it off, adding to the level of comfort. The fit is great even with the back protector; the 3 adjustments: 1 on the waist and 2 on the arms, make it customizable and flatter the female figure. Only a small complaint about the fit, it is ever so slightly too short in the arms but the torso fit is perfect, I am 5'9" usually wear a size 8 dress, I ordered the size 40. The vents are wonderful! Tested it out on a full day ride with a lot of temperature variation true to the New England Spring weather and was completely comfortable by varying the liners and vents. Finally, this jacket looks great! I got the silver/red and get compliments from riding friends, everyone loves the red! I am wearing it with my black Spidi Glance pants and its a great match. It is an expensive jacket but I would say worth every penny, this will be my go-to jacket for all rides! Also, have to shout out Revzilla for the super speedy order delivery, my order was delivered 48hrs after purchase!

It pretty much has it all. :)
5'2", 115lb, 32B - 36 fit perfectly - there are liners in there that made the 34 way too snug (arms felt small as well). rode from sonoma to seattle as a passenger - felt like i had all the ventilation i needed and got great airflow until we were in stop and go 4th of july weekend traffic in 90 degree weather. great jacket - pretty stylish. my boyfriend commented it made me look bigger, which surprised him, but that's because of the protection and that's the point :) - tip: the sv3 backpad that comes for this size was completely out of stock in all of north america so if this is important to you - check for that first. also this comes via ups - they deliver to residential as late as 8PM but businesses by 3PM, so if it is urgent i would highly recommend the 3PM so that you don't have to stress out about ups as 3PM gives you plenty of time to negotiate/get to the facility if needed.

Comfort, warmth, airflow
I'm a new rider and this is my first jacket. I had a jacket previously that I was borrowing and what a relief to get this jacket! It's seriously comfortable and flexible. When it was warm out I had just the outer layer on and it felt like I wasn't even wearing a jacket. Very breathable! Then when I wore it and it was colder I had all the layers in and I was very warm. The jacket on the model does not give the styling justice. It has side sinches that come in at the waist to make it flattering. I don't feel like a bulky mess when I'm wearing it. I think it's actually quite sexy for a motorcycle jacket. I got the white one for higher viz. The only complaint I'd that the fabric gets caught in the zipper pretty easily when you are zipping up the jacket.

Great jacket!
I've only had it a few weeks but so far I love it. Comfy and stylish plus it is well built and does it's job. I haven't been called "hot" in a hundred years but that's the compliment I got when I put this on the other day - I love this jacket! :) I ride in hot, sunny Florida and so far I have found it comfy up to the low 80's when riding at speed. Above that and I'll want a full mesh jacket. But I was looking for something that will also do when it gets chilly out. Planning a ride where the temps may range from the low 50s to 95 and I'm going to only take one jacket - this may be the one. I do wish the main zipper was a 2-way so that I could unzip from the bottom and allow a little more air when it is hot.

This should work for me year-round
I ride ATGATT, mostly commuting, with longer trips a few times a year. I'm reviewing both the jacket & pants here.

I can't tell you whether these are true to size or not, because this is my first time buying European gear. I chose the sizes based on the size chart and my measurements. This brand was always too small for me until I lost 40 pounds.

Pros:
- This is NOT men's gear with a few modifications to fit women, it was obviously designed for women from the beginning. Princess seams on the jacket ensure a great fit on women's bodies; there are lots of snaps & straps to adjust the fit for women's varied proportions. Everything goes on easily over street clothes (except boots; see below)
- Comfy in a wide range of temperatures, from rainy winter days in San Francisco to the Nevada desert in the summer
- Pants and jacket zip together nearly all the way around as long as you're using the waterproof jacket liner; otherwise you can zip them together via the short back zipper
- HUGE waterproof pocket in the back of the jacket
- Lots of reflective areas (white also improves nighttime visibility)
- Elasticated panels in all the places where you need a little "give"

Cons:
- Pants don't have full-length zippers. When I unzip the lower legs all the way, I can't put these on over my boots.
- Jacket is cut a bit high through the bust. I thought it was just me, but you can also see it on the model in the video.
- Where's the love for big girls? This gear comes in a small range of sizes and will not fit the average American woman. However, this company makes plenty of plus-size gear for men.

Excellent overall, very well engineered
Excellent execution in design, function and versatility. The only thing that could be improved is the main outside zipper. It needs to be a bigger variety. It seems to slip unless you engage it perfectly.

This jacket and pant set was for my wife. We took it out on a 1500 mile trip down highway one and the because of its multilayer versatility, she thought she over packed.

I am so impressed with the quality, I am buying at set for myself.

Perfect jacket for petite women
I was thrilled to find a jacket that fits my petite build (5 feet tall, 100 lbs) and that performs well in all seasons.

I got a size 34 and it fits perfectly - I have enough room for a layer or two underneath, and it looks nice and fitted. I really love the smooth and pliable fabric. I got it in the light color and I think it looks really good.

I went on a 3-day ride in the 50s with this jacket, and it performed wonderfully. It blocked the wind well at 60mph, and the thermal layer kept me warm.

I am a bit concerned that Rev'it's newest jacket (Neptune) is not being offered in size 34. Rev'it is currently one of the very few 4-season options for petite women, and I would be disappointed if that stops being the case.

Great Women's Jacket!
Love the style of this jacket! I ordered the Silver/Black with the orange highlights. I'm 5'8" and wear a size medium in tops, and size 6 dress size and the size 40 fits perfectly. I also have the women's Sand pants, but ordered those in a size 44, just for reference.

I like the white version though I concerned with it getting and showing dirt? How easily is this jacket to keep clean as we do a lot of large road trips throughout the year?
Kevin P on Jan 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi
I had the exact same concern but I absolutely wanted the white instead of the black. I told myself I didn't care if I was going to have to wash it more. However, it isn't a real white. Not white-white. Not off-white. It is a sort of grey white; they call it silver. Mine is filthy and it is not obvious. If you look very closely at it, you can see that I need to wash it but I am astounded by how well the color hides the dirt. Ingenious color choice. And the contrast of the multicolors is extremely flattering in the ladies cut. I am small and thin and I have been so cold for so long. This is the first jacket I am absolutely toasty warm in. The sliding closure on the neck is a god-send. I love this jacket. The few small things I would suggest to change on future jackets are not complaints just improvement suggestions from wearer experience.
Is the outer shell at least a little bit waterproof or not at all?
A shopper on May 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hey there fellow rider. I've found the outer shell to be sufficient if caught in light rain or even medium rain. But I don't think it would be adequate for heavy rain. The rain layer however is probably one of the best I've ever had for riding in heavy rain.
Actually, overall this is one of the best jackets I've ever owned period.
I bought it with the intention of using it for longer touring rides, but I wear it pretty much all the time - even as my daily commuter. I've had days where I leave for work to clear and sunny skies, and leave for work in the rain, sans rain gear, and my torso has always been dry.
The video says this jacket works for 4 seasons. How cold (without wearing a heated liner or vest underneath) would this be good for? Would this work down to a 30 degrees Fahrenheit weather?
Elle S on Aug 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I'm not sure. That will be a tough one to get an answer on. Very rider specific. The only way I can compile an answer is to ask myself if I would wear this snowmobiling vs motorcycling. I probably would. I've said before in a review that, prior to this jacket, I've was always cold and miserable. Not anymore; I love this jacket. I am often too warm and have to remove the waterproof liner.
When it is chilly I do wear heat BUT even before I got my heated liner, I was plenty warm with the three layers of the RevIt jacket. I just like to be overly warm so I pack a heated liner. I no longer carry the padded RevIt insulation layer.
Where are the paired pants for this jacket? Maybe I just can't see the link.
A shopper on Aug 25, 2014
Which back protector do I need for this jacket?
A shopper on Jul 20, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It is suppose to use the SeeSoft Type RV. But I couldn't find it anywhere (seems to be out of stock).
So instead I got the Klim D30 back protector, which is extremely comfortable to wear and provides CE level 2 protection. While the shape might be a bit long, you can trim it for a proper fit.
What are the little vertical tabs/hooks right in the middle of the chest just on either side of the zipper?
Greg D on Mar 3, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I have always had black gear. Needed something lighter colored for hot days. This suit washes up very nice. We ride a lot in the summer 5000 miles plus trips.
Is the hydratex liner on this jacket wearable as a standalone "destination jacket" like the liner on the RevIt Indigo jacket?
A shopper on Apr 20, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No, the liners in the Revit Sand Jacket are not destination liners.
