Though it features the exact same multi-seasonal properties as its counterpart, the men's Spectrum, the REV'IT Indigo ladies' jacket is much more than just a spin-off. Designed by and for female touring enthusiasts, the Indigo follows its own distinctive, elegant lines, making you look good both on and off the bike. Accompanying this style is excellent safety: the Indigo features the newly developed Knox Lite CE-level armor, specifically for ladies, at the elbows and shoulders. The removable thermal liner is also softer, more cushiony, and warmer than its male equivalent, simply because women tend to feel colder when riding. In the REVIT Indigo, women have everything they need in a jacket for riding year-round.
My only complaint about this jacket is that I wish the arms had been a little longer. But this is mostly a problem with being tall, thin and having long arms as most women's jackets that fit well everywhere else but in the arm length.
Got this in the silver/black option and feel like it is very visible. Back armor was easy to add.

Love, Love, Love this jacket! It was perfect for our recent trip to Alaska - love the versatility of the layers. Kept me dry and warm in temps ranging from 40s to 60s with several days of rain..... Lots of secure pockets also a plus. Can't wait for our next trip!! Looks great, too. Got lots of compliments on the style.

After trying on soooo many women's jackets, I was finally able to find and try on this hi viz Rev'it. Revzilla had the best pricing, plus they had the size I needed. Shipping was fast and free! IMHO this is one of the most attractive fit jackets for women riders.
The adjustable collar is quite good and is not a sloppy fit. The sleeves are long enough and the removable waterproof liner and thermal liner have a nice wrist cuff that prevents a lot of air blowing up your arms. Also the liners can be used as a stand alone coat, which means I have one less thing to pack on trips. I wore the waterproof liner and jacket, and found it cut the wind nicely. The thermal liner and jacket kept me warm, but in the coastal areas (fog and wind), I've found that using both liners keeps me warmest, the best. It is easy to mix, match and take out the liners. I've not worn just the jacket, but I am sure that it will perform nicely in under 90 degree weather. I do wish there were chest pockets on the jacket for my phone and keys, with zippers.
You do need to either try these on like I did, or take good measurements though as Rev'it is a European cut. This jacket works with the Rev'it Ventura pants.
I am very pleased with the Indigo and the overall Rev'it quality of the jacket.

Great Quality and fit with real functionality
My wife likes a close fitting jacket that allows for good range of movement with good wind protection balanced with airflow capability - the jacket does it all and still looks reasonably fashionable - the removable liner that can be worn as a light stand alone jacket is also a big bonus - very impressed will be buying the guys equivalent shorthly based on material quality. Would I like to pay less of course but have not seen anything close at a lesser price

This jacket is extremely well made and fitted
I am a new passenger and when I began to look for a quality jacket I fell onto a review on a forum for this jacket. I was thrilled to know that it fit "short" people. I am 5'2" about 130 pounds and I bought a 42. It isn't a jacket for hot humid Houston summers but for 80 degrees and below it is acceptable! The only problem I have with this jacket is that the collar will not stay put in the hook that is supposed to hold it open during a hot ride. Since I have bought a summer mesh jacket, also by Rev'it that isn't an issue.

Alison M: Recommended by Joanne Donn as a good touring jacket for a taller woman. I watched the video and it seemed to have the features I wantJun 18, 2015

A shopper asked:Hey Revzilla! I am looking at the ladies Indigo jacket and wondering about sizing. I am 5'9 and 135 lbs. I wore my friends size 40 siren the other day and it fit pretty perfect. Do I want to go 40 in the indigo? Also the prices are they in USD or CAD? I live in Canada and when its shipped up here does it get charged duty?
Jeffrey F:Hi Alison, I'm 5'3" and 120# and the 40 fits me really well. I'm wondering if the sleeves may be too short for you. I like the 40, though it's pretty roomy in the waist, but the Velcro fasteners keep everything tight enough, so it's super warm with all the insulation in. I love mine! Hope that helps :) EdenSep 18, 2014
AliB:REV'IT! does not provide sleeve length on their sizing charts. This is a product that is new for 2012 and is expected to ship mid February, so I don't have any to measure here yet. I can tell you that the sleeve length on this jacket is not considerably long, but the Ignition 2 Ladies is cut longer in the arms. I'm 5'10" and have the Ignition Ladies in size 40 that fits perfect in the sleeve.Jan 6, 2012
