REV'IT! Women's Airwave Pants
Not the best for small, short women
I really wanted to like these, I've been wanting to try out and own a Rev'it jacket+pants set. In the end I returned them because they were much too big and long.
I'm 5'3", waist 25, hips 33.5, inseam 28-29, and 100#. I wear a size 0 or 24/25 in casual pants. I ordered the 34, although the hips seemed too big according to the size chart. These pants were HUGE and FRUMPY. They fit terribly, unless one is supposed to wear them as overpants for thick or heavy-duty pants underneath. While I moved the fit slider to the very end of Large which said 1 size too large, these were 1.5 to 2 sizes too big for me! It was ridiculous and disappointing.
I did appreciate the pants inseam zippers. The pants are nice and substantive while apparently serving hot weather needs (which led me to these).
I wish Rev'it made size 32 (24-25 waist, 33-34 hips) in regular length for those of us who are quite small. They don't even make a 34 short. I understand that this brand originated in the Netherlands, so that could explain the sizes.
On the other hand, Dainese (among other brands) seems to fit my proportions pretty well.

Great flow, but still too bulky
I bought these hoping for some protection during the Texas summer heat, but these still feel like snow pants. They do offer great protection for longer rides and the air flow is pretty good even in the heat, but these will work better come cooler weather. The fit is true to size chart and are they nicely adjustable, though at 5'2" these are too bulky down below.

Great pants for commuting
I commute about 25 minutes across the bay bridge into San Francisco. I wanted something for mild weather, but also the chilly San Francisco summers. Also convenience of putting on/off and comfort were high priorities. These pants fit the bill. I feel secure and comfy in them. I got them in white to increase visibility. Only nit-pick comment is that I don't like the front zipper placement. It's a bit odd looking because it's exposed and goes right up the crotch. I wish they would have put a flap over it.

Perfect in Texas heat
I'm new to motorcycling and all of these products can overwhelm me. I get too much advice from everyone. Too much sometimes. Not when it came to these. I am very happy with them. I've been out in the Texas sun and have loved these. I did not feel the sun at all. I'm often outside (I run and I ride my bicycle to work); I know when the sun is beating down on me.
They look and feel great. They cinch at the waist, so I don't look like a storm trooper. I have found them easy to slip on over shorts and jeans. I've also found them easy to get out of when I want to enter a restaurant in my pedestrian get up.
It's my second Rev'It! purchase, and I feel that I have swallowed that Kool-aid!
I've not had a situation where I can judge it for protection and durability. Yay.

I wanted to share this with everyone that has ever had doubts about making the investment in protective clothing and also about wearing all the gear all the time, even in very hot weather. I purchased these pants, along with the Women's Tour Master, Sonora Air, Hi-Vis jacket. I hate the heat and couldn't imagine having to wear this clothing in high heat and humidity. Well, today I had my tire blow out and I went down while driving on a highway and skidded down the highway on my side. I was ABSOLUTELY AMAZED that the only damage to these pants and the jacket was 1 small hole on both the jacket and pants about the size of a golf ball. I came away from the accident completely unharmed, not even the tiniest scratch. The fabric was incredibly tough and protected my skin 100% while the padding protected the rest of me. I want to stress to all of you, PLEASE SPEND THE MONEY ON THE PROPER SAFETY GEAR and ALWAYS WEAR IT. These pants, as well as the jacket performed perfectly and I would HIGHLY recommend them. As to the pants themselves, I found them to be very big; I actually had to go down 2 sizes even though I measured myself first and went by the measurement chart. My measurements are: Waist: 34.0”, Hip: 39.5”. I ended up with a size 40 and am on the curvy side through the butt and thighs. In regard to the fit on me, I find them to be snug through the thighs. At 5'2" they are several inches too long but at the time I bought them they didn't have a mesh pant in the price range I wanted that was a short length. It's not a deal breaker however since they zipper snugly enough at the ankle and have velcro at the ankle so that the legs stay in place over my boots. They are very wide through the calf, I would guess to accommodate a full height boot and also because they are too long. This can be annoying because the bunched up fabric rubs together and makes a swishing sound when you walk and feels bulky. I wear an ankle high motorcycle shoe/boot. The pants flow air moderately well. They are warm to wear in super hot weather because I wear them as an overpant over a pair of crop light weight pants since I like being able to take them off when I am going to be walking around town. I would imagine without pants underneath they would be looser and flow air much better. I got the black and they look really good on me. The inner zipper goes all the way up the inner leg making it easy to get them on and off when you already have your boots on. They ride high on the waist which I really like because of the extra protection. I rode with them in the early spring when it got down to the mid 40's and was cold riding. Even though they are mesh I put underarmour bottoms and jeans on underneath and was plenty warm so they can definitely be a 3 season overpant. Most important over everything else is that they did their job when I was doing a high speed skid along the ground. That is worth every cent that went into buying them. When I had my accident today it was 95 degrees and humid. I kept thinking how great it would be if I was one of those people who rode in shorts and tank top and had no worries about doing so. But I did the smart thing and had all my gear on and after I saw how these pants and the rest of my gear saved me from what could have been a lot of hurt, I would ask you guys to please take it seriously and don't let the money, heat or inconvenience stop you from riding with a full suit of gear. Also, dealing with Revzilla has been an absolute pleasure. One of the best companies I have ever dealt with, ever. The staff is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I bought all of my gear (helmet, jacket, pants, boots, bluetooth headset and extra back padding from them and every purchase arrived super quickly, sometimes even the day after I placed my order. I had to make a number of returns and it was hassle free every single time. Great product, great company. Strongly recommend both.

These pants are a bit roomy.. but as they are intended to be an overpant they are pretty perfect. They go on over jeans or shorts. I like the leg zipper on the inside.

Go to gear...
Finally something for women that is functional and not ugly. They fit like a nice pair of jeans. They slide on and off so easy d.t the inner theigh zipper that they are perfect over just about anything. They are made for summer wear- to go over some booty shorts or stretch pants, but I wear them spring and fall over jeans etc. They have the standard knee protectors but I would like to know a bit more about the mesh safety. I assume it's reasonable but I am a safety nerd. True to sizing. Zips into rev it jackets. I live in a very hot climate, they are super breathable and ok for this weather.

Great summer weight pants!
I bought these as my first pair of summer pants so I could ride up to the mountains in shorts so I don't have to change once I get there. The zippers go almost all the way up the leg for easy on and off. They fit comfortably over jeans and they are comfortable with shorts or jeans on. I love the velcrow at the bottom to tighten or lose them around your boots or ankles.
