Rev It has the best american fit products (esp for fuller girls)
I am 5'3 and kinda chunky and my biggest concern was finding a jacket that was too short and didn't fit over my hips. That was one of the reasons I drove 2 hours from NJ to Philly to try on jackets and this one was not only on sale but the best fit for me. I am a 44 in this jacket and a DD breast with a tummy and generous muffin tops and this fit amazingly.

I originally had a 45 but the sales girl Kat (who is actually in the video for this!) was amazingly friendly and suggested the smaller size, and couldn't have been more right!

It's a really light jacket that still has room for a hoodie under it and it's clean and basic with no over the top graphics like most female products

Not for tall women. I am 5'9", and the sleeves are 3-4" too short.
Not for tall women. I am 5'9", and the sleeves are 3-4" too short. They designed these jackets for smaller women. The larger the size, the larger the girth - not the taller the woman.

I wore my boyfriend's jacket and loved it. I will be testing the men sizing for fit.

Great Summer Jacket
I bought the mostly white version as a new summer jacket, and wore it on a recent 600 mile trip. It was great down to 65 degrees riding at night with a long sleeve nike hyperwarm shirt underneath... and up to 90 degrees in the sun with a thin tank top on under, which makes it a great complement to my Dianese Elise jacket which is good from 40-60 degrees.

I feel a little uncool style-wise wearing a white jacket, but now I don't have meltdowns from being too hot... so in that way, it's worth it.

Great Basic Jacket
I bought this jacket for my girlfriend before a 3 day trip into the mountains in NC. The weather ranged from 90 degrees when we left Atlanta to mid 60s in the Smokies. She was comfortable the whole time with only an additional mid layer when it dropped into the 60s . The jacket is basic but very well made and the sizing is dead on. I took her measurements and compared them to the sizing chart and the result was a perfect fit. This is a great hot weather jacket if you don't need all the bells and whistles. I was jealous of the breathability at 90, so I will probably be purchasing one for myself for the 90 degree + days of a Georgia summer.

Best Fit out of 4
I ordered 4 different summer weight jackets and this was the only one that I could zip up completely and actually fit properly. I am small but very curvy in the hips/bust. The arms are very long, so I have to fold them up (I'm 5'3) and it is a boxy cut. Which is good if you want to layer underneath, but not a very sexy jacket. The inside pockets are nice and there is a cool loop for your ear buds. Very breathable.

Great summer jacket
LOVE this jacket - super stylish, lots of ventilation, great protection. The style looks sporty without looking like you're heading to the track.

I live in Vermont and usually purchase from Revzilla online, but I made sure to visit the store on a recent trip to Philly. The sales person on the floor at Revzilla gave me great advice about sizing and I purchased the jacket on the spot. I bought the back protector, too. I agree with the reviewers that were bummed that it didn't come with the jacket, but it's beefier than most of the protectors that manufacturers throw in as standard, so I'm not all that disappointed.

Overall, this is a great jacket at a reasonable price - even with the extra purchase of a back protector.

Looks Super and Flows Air!
I purchased the airwave jacket, pants, and matching gloves for my wife because she loved mine. We went riding in 90 degree sun shine and she loved the airflow. It's nice to be able to wear armor in sweltering weather.

Well made garment/excellent value
My husband is the architect behind all our motorcycle gear, so he gets it, and I wear it. I am a professional clothing technical designer, and all of Rev'it gear is exceedingly well made. Quality materials, and exacting stitching, combined with high level YKK zippers, will ensure this jacket lasts. I really like the cut of this jacket, it still looks feminine, even with the built in armor. My husband replaced the armor with sas-tec, and I didn't even notice. It's nice to know I am well protected while we commute in and out of the city. Airflow is a big plus. A great jacket at a very reasonable price.

Finally a good fit and with the Airwave pants we are very comfortable above 80 degrees and good down to about 70 degrees. Lower than that we need something underneath.

Not as small as I thought
I was concerned this would be a bit snug after the warnings on it being a european cut. It is plenty big through the chest and waist, the only part that was concerning was the sleeve length. I'm 5-7 and the sleeves are just long enough to go past my wrists while I'm riding. The air flow is great I wore it on a 100 degree day and as long as I was moving I was comfortable, surprisingly the black areas didn't seem to heat up either. It is still a little stiff around the neck, wrists, and waist but I expect it will loosen up as it hreaks in.

closeout pricing is amazing and my past rev it experience tells me they make high quality gear. just as expected this is a very quality feeling jacket. this is for my wife as a two up rider during warmer months. lacks back armor but for the original and especially closeout pricing still can't beat it.

This jacket has helped me survive +100 degree weather. A saviour in hot weather. I am 5'5" 120 lbs went with the size 36. I love Rev It riding gear just because their European fit is perfectly flattering for petite shapes. Highly recommended and a great bang for your buck!

My girlfriend is 5'4 about 150 with DD bra size. She is full figured and has broad shoulders. What size jacket would be best?
Aidan J on Aug 11, 2013
BEST ANSWER: My wife got a 40 and it fits her well. She's 5'6", 145, C cup. Hopefully that gives you some idea.
Is this jacket waterproof/water resistant? I live down south and want a breathable jacket that can take a mid-afternoon showers if need be. Thanks!
A shopper on Mar 31, 2014
BEST ANSWER: There's enough mesh that you do get quite wet if it's pouring while you're riding. I've only been caught a couple times in steady rain. I'd liken the rain protection to something like standing under a tree... You won't get soaked for short periods, but you won't stay dry during long periods or downpours.
Hey Guys.

Trying to get advise about cleaning. I was going to hand wash, but I wasn't sure if regular detergent would be too abrasive. Should i use regular soap (like Dove) or dish soap?

Thanks!
Genevieve G on Aug 13, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Bought the girl version for my daughter. We haven't washed it. But also bought the male for myself. I have washed it once. Uses only a small amount of laundry detergent with some baking soda. Used the hand wash cycle on my washer (front loading) and an extra rinse. I hung it up to dry. I haven't noticed any problems...yet. I removed the pads before I washed it.
I'm considering ordering this (and the pants) to wear on an extended trip from South Texas into New Mexico going from high desert to mountains. The temps will range from 90 degrees to 45 degrees. I see that this has great airflow, but if worn with a base layer, will it keep you warm at the lower temps? I'd love to be able to use it during the South Texas winters which don't normally get that cold. Also, I'm petite (5'0" and 105 lbs) Will the XS be too small for layering a base layer? Thanks.
Kim C on Aug 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I love this jacket but it's not warm enough for 45. I highly recommend a heated jacket in addition to this jacket. A heated jacket will not take up a lot of space. If you get a heated jacket get a temperature dial. I installed my dials directly into my bike. I talked a couple of friends into this setup and they all said it was the best investment.

As for the size i can't say for sure. 45 is very cold on a bike especially if you don't have a windshield?

Good luck and have fun!!
What is the correct size replacement spine protector for a size 40?
REX V on Jul 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: According to the site, KN106. But just chat with one of the Revzilla reps, they're really helpful.
