The other reviews (and from the Web) shown + sale price sold me on the suit and they were right on.
I got the white/red one and some items I noticed:
1) Fit is aggressive/athletic. The suit fits me like a glove everywhere - almost custom-like fit. It appears made for athletic/thin builds - not much extra room if someone is stocky. I'm 5'10", 160# - athletic build.
If you are pairing a back protector with it ensure you step up one size. I'm 5'10", 160# - athletic build. A 48 fit snug w/o protector (T-Pro Sub 4), had to go up a size to a 50 to fit the back protector in. If you have a stocky build you may want to add another size up.
2) Awesome looking. Just by looking at it you can tell it was well made - stitching, armor, etc. all looks like thought was put into the construction.
3) Comfortable. Unfortunately it's Winter so no track time yet, but I've been wearing it around the house to break it in and it's comfortable and breathable. I can't wait to get it to the track.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I got the suit for track days but wear it regularly on the street. I had AGV and Dainese suits but prefer the RevIt. The RevIt suit in 52 is bigger than the Dainese in 52 but smaller than the AGV in the same size. The RevIt has the best airflow of these 3 suits and is therefore the coolest Once up to speed the flow of air thru the RevIt suit is very effective.
I can only assume the protection is worthy of a professional racer, several use the Victory and have crashed them with favorable protection results. Style is a personal matter, but I certainly like the suit's understated graphics. I got the Black and White suit.
The removable liner on the RevIt is a huge plus. Helps with cooling but most importantly can be taken out to wash. It has a couple pockets in the liner easily big enough for a wallet on one side and a cell phone on the other.
High praise to Revzilla by the way. Best prices, hundreds less than than local shop and crazy fast FREE shipping! Great return policy, even through they won't get mine back, and solid customer service!

I am 5'8", 165lbs, athletic build with a 31inseam, 42" chest and 32" waist. I bought a 50 based on the fact I was in between the video review test subject's size and Anthony's. The first thing you notice when pulling this suit out of the box is how feature laden it is. As with all Rev'it gear, the devil is in the details and this suit is extremely well made.
Size wise, this suit fits me better than my Alpinestars 52 in most areas. It has an aggressive preshape as noted in review and with full length back protector fits me very well. I could not fit into a 48 i believe with my shoulder/chest size. The shin guards fit into my boots easier than my Alpinestars making it less of a chore to put them on, nice. I can't speak for airflow, i haven't used it yet, will this week, but comfort from removeable liner is excellent.
If i had to nitpick, i'd say the alpinestars or dainese suits with full U shaped stretch panels along side of torso and down around waist are probably a little less baggy in riding position but not much, this suit has a partial U panel, so i notice a little more room in lower torso, but that just means it will continue to fit as i age.
The molded shoulder guards, while trick, are pretty pronounced, as they are in your peripheral vision constantly, but i'm sure i'll appreciate them when I go down. Randy DePuniet is still around right?
For me it was between this suit and the Dainese Red Line and Alpinestars Tech R1 for approx. the same $$. I feel this suit looks better than both in Black and White and has more features. The rep at Revzilla was very helpful and recommended the Alpinestars for stockier athletic builds but I couldn't resist and am happy with my decision.

Been wearing my black 52 Victory for two seasons. The biggest compliment I can give this suit is that it is a very technical, high end suit, with a very reasonable price tag. Sliders on Knees, Elbows, Shoulders in MotoGP fashion. What other suit can you get for this price that is being worn in MotoGP. De Puniet just keeps crashing in this thing and coming back the next week - in one piece - to dump another bike!. I am a REV'IT! fanboy, I will admit it. But its because they have won me over with really amazing moto gear from a comfort, style and protection standpoint. The Victory is the perfect cross section of "why" REV'IT! Rocks.

From SAN FRANCISCO
First off, this gets a 4 out of 5 stars only because I would reserve 5 stars for a fully made-to-measure custom suit. But for a suit off the rack it is definitely one of the best you can get.
PROTECTION - Although I haven't yet crash tested the suit, the quality is apparent. The zippers, stitching and seams, leather feel are all very well manufactured. The protection within the suit is very good and has coverage where you need it and the elbow and sholder sliders should come in handy during a crash. The sliders that came with the bike have a lot of feel and adhere well to the velcro, but they might be the type of slider that you can burn through after a handful of race or trackday weekends.
COMFORT - The comfort of the suit was outstanding. I am 6'2" 215 pounds and went with a 56. My build is a moderately athletic one. I have a thicker torso and broad chest, broad shoulders and relatively larger arms and thighs, and a slightly tapered waist line. So I am less of a slender/pocket-sized racer and more of a traditional sports athlete's body type. Coming from an Alpinestars suit, I noticed right away that the Victory suit was better suited for my build. If you are more on the slender side, you might have more rooms in the limbs than you need. But for me, it was refreshing to be able to move my arms and legs more freely without having a suit with too much leftover material flapping in the wind. The length of the torso was good for my height too. without any of my back/chest protection, the suit would fit well, but have more room. The nice thing though, is that with all my back/chest protection on, the suit's multiple stretch areas help accomodate that. It forms nicely and still doesn't constrict my movement at all. Also, the softer materials used around the neck, wrists and ankles really add another level of comfort to this suit that I missed in my old suit.
LOOKS - Obviously, this suit is one of the best looking on the market especially in the White/Blue/Red version I got. And no, I don't ride an S1000RR. The shoulder and elbow sliders look fantastic. the suit fits well and it really looks like the top-level suit it is.
VENTILATION - OMG, this Victory suit ventilates way better than my fully frontal perfed Alpinestars did. The perforation isn't full coverage, but man these cleanly lasered holes are way more efficient than the little perforation holes made by standard leather punching. The most amazing thing is how well the ventilated hump works. I thought the whole vinturi effect was a bunch of sales mumbo jumbo that they have to play up. But in full tuck, I could really feel the air channel being created and just cooling the whole back of my body down immediately. It was very refreshing, and will be welcome in the summer races. The only thing is that the suit visually makes you look a little thicker up top than other do because of all the 3-D honeycomb wicking material and breathable liners they equipped it with. But it is worth staying super cool and dry.
OVERALL - The only way, I think this suit could be better is if it were custom made to your exact body measurements. In which case, you would have to pay at least another $300. So all-in-all, I think this is the best off the rack suit I have tried on and used in recent years at this price point.

Answer:
For your measurements, I would also recommend a size 48. In suit sizing, you are governed by the larger measurement, so you will need the size 48 to accommodate your chest measurement and have room for a back protector, which is required for track use.

Answer:
I'd go 48 for sure. I'm about the same size as you and 48 fits me with a back protector in. You'll need extra space for a back protector...46 would very likely be too small.

Answer:
I am not sure what Knee Slider Type A is exactly, but the one that came with the suit is pictured. It is a dual compound, but really soft. I went through the slider in two and a half days at the track, so if you are racing, go with another type...unless it is good looks and feel that you are going for. In that case get these.

REV'IT! Jackets are European (slim) cut and generally more narrow in the shoulders than other brands. Please take this into account when choosing the appropriate size. Most riders with any body type other than "slim" would need to order one size larger than they typically might wear in other brands, if you are in between sizes, we recommend erring on the larger side. If you have any questions about REV'IT! sizing please call 877-792-9455 for help.

How To Measure REV'IT! Jacket Size

How To Measure REV'IT! Pants Size

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
