Sometimes it’s simply too hot for leather. When the temperature rises, the REVIT Tarmac Air offers sport bike riders the styling they want, with the comfort they need. Sure, REVIT Tarmac Air will keep you safe with Engineered Skin design, CE-approved armor, and abrasion resistant fabric in the impact zones, but with the strategic use of mesh, you’ll be cooler than Tom Cruise in Top Gun.

DenverRick:There is no reflection. I have the red/white version, VERY bright and crisp. Back protection is there, standard rev'it pad, looks like it will therefore fit knox upgrade as well.Aug 21, 2012
A shopper asked:For a hot and humid tropical weather... Should I get this one or the Airwave? Iwould use it for daily riding in work clothes (shirt, polo shirt). Standard temps 80-100F, 80%+ humidity. I've tried the Airwave in a sotre but they didn't have the Tarmac to compare it to... I noticed the Airwave has a "squarely shape" but it can be fitted with the straps. And wearing it in an air conditioned store is far from riding weather.Apr 6, 2014
FAISAL M:I have no experience with Airwave but have the Tarmac. The fit is good-much sporty and doesn't look boxy, more for someone athletic and lean. I am 185 lbs, 6'2 inches and really like the lean look.
I have ridden with the jacket in 90-95 F with little humidity and it vents well.
You feel plenty of hot air hitting your chest-like a blow dryer.
Seth K:The ventilation is the same on the Tarmac I think, just a tighter fitting jacket style. This jacket has a lot of ventilation, so as long as you are moving 10mph+ this will keep you cool up to 90F. Mesh is too hot for me when it gets into high 90's, to 100, you need less airflow to have better cooling efficiency.Apr 7, 2014
A S asked:Is the size on this jacket standard with other Rev it Jackets? I've gone a local store and tried some Rev It jackets, for my surprise I was XXL in size and they fit right, considering I have to wear work clothes beneath it. I'm not sure if I should by an XXL on this one. Any suggestions?Apr 2, 2014
Emmerson R:I have two rev it jackets, one leather and one textile, both medium with a very similar fit. The leather fits a bit more snug, but I believe that's due to the difference in material.Apr 2, 2014
A shopper asked:Was wondering what the differences, if any, are between the Rev'It Air jacket and the Rev'It Tarmac Air. Also, Rev'It shows the Tarmac Air to be available in blue on their website yet you guys don't list blue as a color available. Is it available in blue through you guys?Jun 16, 2011
Stevan P:The difference is the Tarmac air is made with a polyester 600D, PWR|shell mesh and Monaco Performance cowhide offering greater abrasion resistance in high impact areas. The Blue option is not available for purchase in the US or Canada. It is only available in Europe.Jun 20, 2011
Carlos S asked:I have white one and living in hot/sunny Florida. How do I clean it? Can I use the wash machine gentle cycle and baby soap? Hot or cold water? About drying? Laying flat on a towel or using a hanger? ThxJul 24, 2014
