Out of 4 years of analyzing crashed REV'IT! MotoGP suits, the REVIT Stingray one-piece was born - and as you might expect from a suit developed for serious track riders and professionals, the REV'IT! Stingray is designed specifically to help you walk away from a high-speed crash. The Engineered skin design is executed to today's highest technical standards. Seams have been relocated from critical impact zones to areas less likely to make contact with the tarmac during a crash - making them stronger and less likely to tear. Grade A leather is mixed with Kevlar stretch for optimum comfort and freedom of movement; this is topped off with high-level, CE-approved armor and dual comp sliders at the elbows, shoulders, and knees, plus a newly developed grip part at the inside knee. A removable, washable, anti-static, and moisture-managing inner lining comes standard. In short, the Stingray has it all.

REV'IT Stingray Looks and Feels Good Looked for months at the various custom personal fit suits. With measurement risks, wait times, and costs, I opted to go with an good quality REV'IT race suit and loose a few pounds. I found this suit to have very high quality leathers and stitching. The armor feels good on. The suit has a USA Citizen fit and has enough stretch material to fit if you are a little overweight in the gut like me. In race position, it feels very light and does not restrict bike control. Now I just need some matching gloves and warm weather. See my video for unboxing and images. January 25, 2015
Awesome suit with very awesome features I have not ridden in this suit yet, however I have ridden, extensively raced, and crashed (3 times) in a Rev'it Tarmac, which is almost an identical suit. This suit looks to be made out of the same materials and fitment is EXACTLY the same. I have a very hard time with finding good fitting suits, I am 5'9", 185 lbs with a very muscular build (large glutes, thighs, chest/pecs, triceps) and a 54 euro fits me PERFECT with knox armored underwear and knox contour back protector. Always test fitment of your suits with armor ON. I've crashed in a few suits and the Rev'IT seems to be one of the better ones that can hold up in a high speed crash (90 mph +), the armor absorbs impacts very well, even when tumbling/cartwheeling through the gravel pit, the monaco leather/superfabric holds up amazingly well to abrasion. The shoulder/elbow armor is what really attracts me to this suit, on my Tarmac suit features the same external armor plates and they took huge hits and compressed to absorb all of the impacts. I have crashed in other suits with inferior shoulder armor designs and they will leave your clavicle in pieces. The mobility of this suit seems to be on par with the Tarmac, and that is really saying something. There is so much STRETCH to these suits it feels amazing, freedom of movement is truly something this thing does EXTREMELY well (you won't get tired fighting the suit, very comfortable, no hot spots to poke at you, allows you to get crazy with the body positioning). Speaking of comfort, the only negative thing I've found is that the inner liner has some velcro in places that you can feel scratching you, but if you just take a second to reposition them, its all good...other than that this is the most comfortable suit I've ever worn. The airflow with this suit has been upgraded, more superfabric is being used in areas and even more perforated leather, makes this suit GREAT for those hot days at the track, or if you live on the west coast. .Rev'it suits are hands down better than ANYTHING Dainese/Alpinestars is currently manufacturing. Rev'it Stingray one piece suit After bad experience with Dainese Trixter Team Revzilla went way out their way to help me and they did not bail out on me like Dainese did ! In process they recommended Stingray suit and to my surprise they recommended size 50, I usually wear Dainese size 52. Well that suit fits like glove I'm 6.2 190 lb. at first it feel a bit tight but after 3 days on the track I can get in and out of the suit by my self with out performing some crazy dance!! It vents well and allows to move any direction you wish. I got mine in White/Black and after 20 min on grid before start of race I was really happy with my choice of colors !! May 20, 2013
Stingray - Size 52 - Black Ordered a Rev'It Stingray suit in a size 52 after previously ordering the Dainese Laguna Seca Pro suit in both a size 52 and a size 54. The Laguna Seca Pro suit was the top suit on my list after listening to the recommendations of the Revzilla staff. Unfortunately the Laguna Seca Pro suit was either too short in the torso or too small in the shoulders as I was unable to get it completely up and over my shoulders which of course meant I was unable to close the main zipper. It's a shame because that was a great looking suit. The Stingray suit arrived last week. Admittedly I'm not quite as excited about the styling of the Stingray suit as I was the Laguna Seca Pro. But I'm just as excited about the technical features and the build quality. I'm also excited by the slightly longer torso and fuller fit. I'm roughly 6 feet tall and 175 lbs. The suit is snug in the upper body and a little loose in the thighs and seat. Initially it was also very tight in the lower legs. In fact, I was almost unable to zip the main zippers in the legs. It turned out the pant legs were being held up too high on my leg by the positioning of the adjustable knee armor. Once I raised the knee armor an inch or so it lower the pant leg to its correct position and I was able to close the main leg zipper with no further problems. It's a beautiful suit with a lot of very nice features. The fit and finish are very good. The abundance of perforation and stretch materials should make the suit very comfortable once I'm able to take it out on the bike and to the track. March 4, 2013
Comfortable race leathers! I normally wear a EU 50 or 52 in Dainese or Alpinestars and like a tight fitting race suit but the Rev'It that fit is 48. I'm 5' 9", 170 lbs, 34 waist, and the 48 fits like a glove. Can stand upright, so not overly aggressive preshape. A lot of suit for the money with features of a pricier race suit. July 11, 2012

JAMES C: Eugene: I normally wear an EU 50 or 52 depending on the manufacturer. A 50 better suits me in most cases. I am 5'-9" and weigh 175 with a 39" chest, 34" waist. The Rev'It Stingray that I wear is a EU 48. It was very snug at first like a race suit should be but has loosened a bit to be comfortable. It still fits like a race suit should, fairly snug. The guys at Revzilla recommended the 48 and they followed the appropriate sizing guidelines. The suit has been great, is comfortable and feel the protection is on par with my Dainese suit. Both are great on the track as well as the street.

Don't have experience with Spidi, but thought about that one, too. I'd probably try whatever your normal dress suit size would be and think about one size smaller with the Rev'It suit. Good luck!

Danny E: Hey Eugene, you and me are the same height and although I can't recommend best fit for you (I'm smaller, right around 170lbs.) I can say that the Stingray was the most comfortable fit for me across MANY suits in the crotch to shoulder height. I found many suits were putting quite a strain on my shoulders unless I was in a full tuck position. I'm a 30" inseam.
The Sipdi was on my short list as well but I dropped it as I ultimately preferred the hard elbows, knees and shoulders on the Rev'it.
The Rev'it quality is awesome, I'm really happy with it and looking forward to 2014 racing season.

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
