Rev'It Sand Jacket Love the looks and feel of the coat - had to go with a 2XL to get the right fit, should have been an XL, so it's a tad smaller than sizing. Coat had a minor flaw in stitching on one sleeve but Revzilla gave me credit bucks for fixing it myself rather than going through the return and replacement procedure, which, by the way, they were absolutely more than willing to do. Their customer service was first rate ! April 29, 2013
5'10 148lbs -> Small I ordered a Small, and I'm 148lbs, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin/athletic build. The jacket fits great around my chest and waist, both with and without the thermal layer. I would like the jacket to go down farther on my body and for the arms to be longer, but it feels like enough protection. There is no/minimal back protection so I'll definitely be adding some. The jacket has been warm enough so far in 45-50 degree weather. I haven't experienced anything warmer or colder, but there are vents all over the jacket that look like they will provide excellent ventilation in hot weather. April 21, 2013
Its a great value on a discontinued product. Just got back from the Moonshine Lunch run. I put the jacket through most environments on the way there and back. Hot, cold, rainy, just did not stop this jacket. It delivered as advertised. the only thing I would recommend is upgrading the back protector. Other than that its got you covered literally. Better then I thought Looks Good. Strong Zipper and Buttons. Warm. Recommended. March 23, 2013
Great features but missing a few items Overall, I love this jacket. It fits really well, has plenty of large waterproof pockets and looks amazing. Really my only complaints with it are that I feel it could really benefit from another vent on the upper arm around your armpit area. Additionally, I feel the back protector could be a little beefier as it's really thin compared to the other pads in this jacket. I think the one it comes with will do the job well enough but lets hope I never find out. I originally ordered a L and had to exchange for an XL. I'm 6'4 and 180. A tall skinny guy and the chest on the L was way to small but the sleeve length was pretty good on both sizes. As always, Revzilla customer support was awesome. This jacket is certainly worth it's cost! March 2, 2013
Great Jacket that suits my needs Looked for a long time and tried a few other jackets that just did not fit the bill. this one, having the three layers, will do it all. One of my first requirements was the jacket had to be easy to put on and take off. with the rain liner removed (90% of my riding) all the extra snaps and flaps are gone so its zip it up and go. love the arm zips/vents. the thermal layer stays in place nicely, again making it easy put on. Armor is getting some upgrades to Knox stuff but for the price I expected that. sizing is spot on. the only complaint is that the zipper is on the wrong side. this will take some getting used to. very happy with the jacket! Oh and the fact that Revzilla called me the check on the address I wanted the jacket shipped to was fantastic! I have had my identity stolen before and really appreciate the steps Revzilla took to make sure my credit card was not being taken for a ride. February 25, 2013
Excellent Winter Jacket for NorCal I use it in the brisk Northern California (SF Bay Area) winter. Commute almost daily on my bike and use this jacket to stay dry and warm. The construction is high quality and attention to detail is apparent. Keep it up Rev'it! It was also delivered the same week that I ordered it! February 25, 2013
Great Jacket Worn this jacket for 200 miles this winter here in Wahington State. Jacket has kept me warm and dry. I like the way the jacket fits with the liners installed. I have not worn without the liners, I cannot review ventilation. I am using the Sand pants with this jacket, at the 30% discount this riding suit is a great bargin. Again great service at Revzilla! I am just over 6'2", 220 lbs, 46" chest, typically wear 17" collars and 36" sleeve lengths in shirts, usually wear XL Tall in most jackets.

I may not be reading the size chart correctly but it looks like I would require a 3XL in the Sand jacket?

In pants I wear 38" waist with 34" inseam or 35" if I can find it.

What size would you recommend in pants?

Does the Revit Sand jacket belong to the MEns jacket category? I want to know which size chart from Revit to follow in order to check my size. Should I read the MEns jacket size chart or the Unisex Jacket size chart?

Answer:
From the jacket, yes. From both, that would be tight. I would say the thermal liners from both would fit OR the waterproof liners from both, but not all 4 together.

Answer:
It's a tight fit with just the liners from the jacket, you might be able to squeeze it in, but it will definitely feel awkward back there. I tried riding with just the jacket waterproof liner back there and it bothered me too much, so I just keep it in my other luggage.

The jacket liner will fit, but probably not both. Like others for me it is best to store them on the bike.

Yes but you'll look silly (if you care about that). With just the jacket rain liner in the pouch it really sticks out.

Answer:
I think its just big enough for the jacket liner. Although (depending on your riding style) I wouldnt recommend using it but getting a separate rain proof suit instead. As once your outer shell is wet, in cold weather conditions, it could remain like that for several days. With the rain suit you remain totally shielded and it dries quickly.
