The Rev'It! Oceanus GORE-TEX Gloves are suitable for cold weather riding thanks to the GORE-TEX membrane and thermal liner. These gloves feature full leather construction comprised of a goatskin palm and upper which makes the glove durable, comfortable and abrasion-resistant. They are equipped with protective elements, reflective panels, grip patches and a visor wiper.
Outer Shell: Goatskin with WR finish, chamude with WR finish, synthetic PU leather
I was really excited to get these gloves. Unfortunately they were a little weak. I got a tear in the suede leather between the thumb and index finger after a week of casual riding. Revzilla did a great job helping with a warranty return.
The insulation did not perform in to the 20's well. The leather was thin enough for decent tactile response. The quality of the leather seemed low, as there were a few rough looking/scaly patches in the smooth leather. The padding seemed like enough protection for casual riding. The cuffs were getting dangerously close to not fitting over my Icon Patrol jacket which does have large arms.
As far as style, I am not a fan of all the branding. Gore-tex and Rev'it was written on each glove twice which is way too much. Also there was more reflective bits than needed. My opinion is gloves only need reflection on the side if any.
Also you should purchase a size larger than the size chart (does any glove fit per the size chart?) if you are going with this glove.
I do not recommend this glove because they do not seem durable or like they would survive much of a spill.

comfortable, keeps warm without being too bulky. I used in temp range 45 to 60 for 1 to 2 hours straight at highway speed, so far works well. I did not try yet in the 30s. last winter I used a heated glove, but I want to try this one to see if I can get rid of dealing with wires.

Good cool weather/foul weather glove
I bought this glove under time pressure before a late October ride down the Blue Ridge Parkway. The weather got into the low 40's in the mornings with some light drizzle and the gloves remained nice and dry inside. The were a bit chilly on the coldest mornings but bearable and with heated grips would have been awesome. Touring glove, so only moderate/mid protection with no hard parts. I found them to run small so my normally XL hands fit perfectly in XXL. Good gloves and Gore company keeps its reputation for dry warmth with this moderate temp glove.

John Karl K: Needed a good winter glove for commuting in NorCal that wasn't too bulky and comfortable. These seem to fit the bill, we shall see...Jan 6, 2015
Steven W: Needed something warm and DRY, nothing to TECNO, still have not found anything better than leather to break the cold wind.Nov 7, 2013
Alex B asked:Would the gauntlet on this glove fit over the sleeve on the Opera jacket with the liner in? I live in Portland and fine myself int he rain quite often, but have been riding in some Dianese 4 Strokes which aren't cutting it in the rain and the cold even with grip heaters. Want something like this, but want to make sure it fits over the sleeve. Thanks!Jan 11, 2014
Steven W:I HAVE THE FIRST GEAR KATHMUNDO JACKET IN TALL SIZE SO THE SLEEVES ARE LONG ENOUGH TO STUFF INSIDE THIS SHORT GAUNTLET GLOVE, I GOT THESE BECAUSE THE MID 30 DEGREE MORNINGS THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN LEATHER AND THEY HAVE BEEN GREAT IN THE RAIN.Jan 12, 2014
