Like the Neptune jacket, the Rev'It! Neptune GORE-TEX Pants are made for year-round riding. On cold, rainy days the GORE- TEX membrane will keep wind and water out, and the thermal liner will trap heat inside. On hot summer days you can take out the membrane and thermal liner, open the ventilation panels and let air flow in freely. On warm, rainy days, take out only the thermal liner and the GORE-TEX membrane with Paclite Technology will keep you dry and comfortable as it won't stick to your skin. Name a weather condition and these trousers are up to the challenge. CE-protection, adjustable protector pockets, a grip panel at the seat, dual connection zippers, reflective panels—all these features add up to let you ride in safety all day, every day.
Outer Shell: Polyester 600D with Teflon coating, polyester rib with Teflon coating, wax polyester 600D, sure grip
Insulation: Detachable thermal liner
Waterproofing: Detachable GORE-TEX liner with Paclite Technology
Breathability: Detachable GORE-TEX liner with Paclite Technology
Great pants - Medium is to short for tall skinny guy
I bought the Neptune GTX pants to match the Neptune jacket which I love. I am 6'2 165 lbs and have longer legs. The medium fit great in the waist but the legs fell short with my boots. Also I found these a little looser cut than I prefer. I like a tigher pant. I had to return these and upgrade to the Revit Defender which are available in Medium Tall. These fit perfectly and have a nice slim cut.

Excellent protection for 2000 miles
I bought these pants to bike from New Jersey to Tennessee and back - a trip just under 2000 miles. I encountered all sorts of weather - cold, hot, dry and mildly wet. The pants were excellent. I just took off the appropriate inner liner(s) depending on the weather and I was very comfortable throughout the ride. The ventilation took care of any sweating issues. After I came back, I went on a short ride with my denims on - they were actually very uncomfortable with sweat not evaporating etc. That's when I realized that I had actually made a smart decision in buying these pants.
The only downside is that these pants don't have a short size in the medium (34") waist size. So I settled for the normal inseam (30") - it is not too bad at all.

Excellent Cold weather pants
Put these pants through a 4300 mile road trip from central Canada to Colorado.
Encountered temperatures from 0*c (freezing) to +33*c (90*f)
Above 25*c (80*f ish) I found they are too hot to wear for any length of time. For temps below that they are excellent.
Rode through Poudre canyon during a flash flood advisory, these pants were the only piece of gear I wore that remained (mostly) dry. They really only got wet below the knee, probably more from water creeping in from under.
My only concern with the construction of the pants is the size of the zippers for the Gore-Tex, and thermal layers. They are small, and you can't be too rough with them, as they will break.
Love the fact that each layer has colour coded zippers.
Excellent pant, with great attention to design detail.

I drove last week by 40 degrees. I left all the liners in and it was perfect! I then took it by a 65 degree weather without the liner and again turned out to be perfect! I love it so far...will be testing it this summer in Arizona and that will be the real test. Haven't tested it for rain yet. It is very comfortable and the fit was perfect. Follow the directions for fitting/sizing and it should fit you perfectly!

Perfect fit and high quality, better in person
I don't review items often, but these exceeded my expectations. For a tall thin guy (6'5" 185#, jean waist 33") it is very difficult to find anything that fits. These (size 34 long) fit like a glove. And typically tall sizes only come in black, but I took a chance on these in silver and they look much better than they did in the video. The quality of the materials, the fit are all excellent. Waiting for the hip armor with is pre-order only. These look like they will handle all (Southern California) seasons easily.
Plus Revzilla made it very easy with the videos and free/easy returns. These weren't the first that I tried, not to mention about 10 different pair at the local moto dealer.

David C: Had gore- tex before. Sold on product.Jul 7, 2014
Jason O: Appears to fit my needs. Waterproof removable layer, and an independently removable thermal layer. Getting prepared for a 4500km road trip, and this is one of the last thing I need.Apr 28, 2014
Sonny V: Needed 4 season pants figured the removable gore tex liner as opposed to the Poseidon baked in membrane would help with air flow in the phoenix summer oven air. We'll see what happensJan 3, 2014
A shopper asked:The description says it includes "short and long connection zippers", but be video only shows 1 zip. Which is correct?Aug 12, 2014
David B:I had to watch the video and then look at my pants (REV'IT! Neptune GTX) to see what you meant by long and short zipper. Your right, the video shows only 1 (short) zipper. My pants have 2 zippers, 1 short like the one in the video and 1 long zipper about twice as long at the short zipper. I don't understand why the video shows only 1 and my pants have 2, but there are 2.
Jeff E:I did receive both zippers, one attached and the other included, with my Neptune GTX pants. Love, love, love those pants, by the way. Got them in white (which are really off-white) and they look much better in person. Great fit and protection.Aug 12, 2014
Jason H:I bought a size large (I'm 5'9, 165lbs, 31" waist). If I remove the insulated liner, I could easily pull these over another pair of jeans / pants, but with the thermal liner, it would be a tight fit. Also note, with the thermal liner out, the large is a little loose in the waist (but fine for one the bike and walking around).Mar 16, 2014
