Excellent Cold weather pants
Put these pants through a 4300 mile road trip from central Canada to Colorado.
Encountered temperatures from 0*c (freezing) to +33*c (90*f)
Above 25*c (80*f ish) I found they are too hot to wear for any length of time. For temps below that they are excellent.
Rode through Poudre canyon during a flash flood advisory, these pants were the only piece of gear I wore that remained (mostly) dry. They really only got wet below the knee, probably more from water creeping in from under.
My only concern with the construction of the pants is the size of the zippers for the Gore-Tex, and thermal layers. They are small, and you can't be too rough with them, as they will break.
Love the fact that each layer has colour coded zippers.

Excellent pant, with great attention to design detail.

Revit Products = Quality
I purchased the Neptune Gortex pants along with the Neptune Gortex jacket. I like the fact I can remove either the thermal or Gortex liners or both. It gives me options when the weather changes in a day of riding. I have 38 waist and a 30 inseam the XL short were a perfect fit. I will try the airflow vents once we see warm weather.

Great pants - Medium is to short for tall skinny guy
I bought the Neptune GTX pants to match the Neptune jacket which I love. I am 6'2 165 lbs and have longer legs. The medium fit great in the waist but the legs fell short with my boots. Also I found these a little looser cut than I prefer. I like a tigher pant. I had to return these and upgrade to the Revit Defender which are available in Medium Tall. These fit perfectly and have a nice slim cut.

Excellent protection for 2000 miles
I bought these pants to bike from New Jersey to Tennessee and back - a trip just under 2000 miles. I encountered all sorts of weather - cold, hot, dry and mildly wet. The pants were excellent. I just took off the appropriate inner liner(s) depending on the weather and I was very comfortable throughout the ride. The ventilation took care of any sweating issues. After I came back, I went on a short ride with my denims on - they were actually very uncomfortable with sweat not evaporating etc. That's when I realized that I had actually made a smart decision in buying these pants.

The only downside is that these pants don't have a short size in the medium (34") waist size. So I settled for the normal inseam (30") - it is not too bad at all.

Perfect fit and high quality, better in person
I don't review items often, but these exceeded my expectations. For a tall thin guy (6'5" 185#, jean waist 33") it is very difficult to find anything that fits. These (size 34 long) fit like a glove. And typically tall sizes only come in black, but I took a chance on these in silver and they look much better than they did in the video. The quality of the materials, the fit are all excellent. Waiting for the hip armor with is pre-order only. These look like they will handle all (Southern California) seasons easily.

Plus Revzilla made it very easy with the videos and free/easy returns. These weren't the first that I tried, not to mention about 10 different pair at the local moto dealer.

Perfect!
I drove last week by 40 degrees. I left all the liners in and it was perfect! I then took it by a 65 degree weather without the liner and again turned out to be perfect! I love it so far...will be testing it this summer in Arizona and that will be the real test. Haven't tested it for rain yet. It is very comfortable and the fit was perfect. Follow the directions for fitting/sizing and it should fit you perfectly!

A fine 4 season pant
Best motorcycling pant I have yet to wear. I'm 5' 8" tall, waist is 40 inches and weigh 200 lbs with a 29 inch inseam. Ordered a size 3x short. I ride sport touring and cruiser bikes. Length is perfect. At first the pants seemed tight (short) from the belt line to the crotch but after wearing on several all day rides, they have relaxed and fit great now. All features work well. I love these pants. Well made and fine quality throughout.

Worth Every Penny
These pants are awesome! Lately I have been caught in heavy rain while riding home from work. When I arrive home the outer layer on the pants has water streaming off of them but I am completely dry underneath. Rev'it did it right when they included the Gore-Tex. These pants were worth every penny.

Serious pant for serious riding
I took these pants on a 6500 mile trip to Alaska and back and they were Amazing. The fit is excellent, I'm 6'2" 190#, long legs. I got the Large/Long, probably the best fitting moto pant I've ever bought!!! Nice work REV'IT. I like the adjusting straps on the sides for quick adjustments even when sitting on the bike. The minimal pockets were great for Canadian coins and my key fob, though access when seated was a bit difficult.
I rode through 90+ to 30- degree days and the pants were comfortable and cozy when they had to be and with liner out and vents open were great in the heat. I like the zippered leg at the bottom as they came in very handy when fitting over my TCX boots. I rode through tons of miles of ridiculous rain and they did not leak a drop, also never soaked even at the heel cuffs and such. I also really like the gator at the fly zip area as it kept everything dry even though that tends to be a leak!!
I highly recommend these pants especially for wet weather/ colder temps.

Technical pant that gets the job done.
These pants are designed for touring/off road adventure, but I have been using Rev'it pants for sportbike riding because they go over Astars boots with no discomfort.

The Neptune is a nice upgrade over the Tornado. It's a more technical pant; my Tornado (same size) fit me like a pair of loose cargo pants, but this new Neptune has a more snug fit.

The armor is where it's supposed to be, the snaps and straps keep everything in place.

It's a great pant; I used them this past Saturday to run down a kid in a Lexus RC350.

I wear a 32x33 pant when I can, usually 32x34. I noticed that you don't have medium tall available, would mediums work for me?
TravelJunkie on Mar 25, 2015
Would it be possible to use this as an overpant? I have the jacket but am not sure if it is a viable option for an overpant.
A shopper on Oct 12, 2014
BEST ANSWER: These pants fit pretty snugly, I'm 6'2" 195lbs with a size 34/35" waist. I bought both the XL and XXL in these pants, so see which worked better. The XXL were way too big in the waist, but I could wear jeans underneath, the XL fit in the waist, but I can only wear boxers or thermal long Johns under them, jeans are too bulky. Now, this is with both the thermal and rain liners installed, you might be able to get away with using them for over pants without any of the liners.
Hope this helped.

The description says it includes "short and long connection zippers", but be video only shows 1 zip. Which is correct?
A shopper on Aug 12, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I had to watch the video and then look at my pants (REV'IT! Neptune GTX) to see what you meant by long and short zipper. Your right, the video shows only 1 (short) zipper. My pants have 2 zippers, 1 short like the one in the video and 1 long zipper about twice as long at the short zipper. I don't understand why the video shows only 1 and my pants have 2, but there are 2.

David.

Can this be worn with Defender GTX Jacket? Defender GTX pants no longer available in my size. Does this pants connect/zip with Defender GTX Jacket?
JINMAN K on May 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I just looked at mine and they definitely have both zippers. I only use the one that attaches to the back of the jacket. I see that the picture of the product does not show it, but mine definitely have them. Revzilla customer service is excellent! I am sure if you email or call them they can answer your question with certainty.
Can I wear this over jeans or other pants?
A shopper on Mar 15, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I bought a size large (I'm 5'9, 165lbs, 31" waist). If I remove the insulated liner, I could easily pull these over another pair of jeans / pants, but with the thermal liner, it would be a tight fit. Also note, with the thermal liner out, the large is a little loose in the waist (but fine for one the bike and walking around).
My jeans are 32 x 32. What would be the best size to get?
A shopper on Jan 3, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I think you'd be fine with the L. I'm 5'9, 165lbs 31" waist and the large is a little loose for my preference, but the medium too tight.
I wondering, I've never used riding pants, can I wear them over regular pants?
Johnathan M on Mar 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I actually do this every time I go to work as I have to dress business casual. I do take the liner (the warm one) off though but it works just fine for me.
