REV'IT! Maximus WSP Balaclava
Efficient and wearable
I have been riding 52 years and live in the New Jersey, Riding all year averaging about 20,000 miles a year I needed a balaclava that will do the job, best one I have owned. I purchased this one in large and found it to big and settled on the small which fits perfectly, gave the large to my son. All in all between the workmanship, the bib and breath-ability this has proved to be one of the best accessory items I have purchased.

The section that goes over your head is ideally thin and good for fitting underneath helmets. The material that guards the neck is appropriately wind-proof, and I like how wide it is, easy to keep tucked into clothing.
Only complaint is that after one wash the stitching around the mouth began to fray. Functionally it should stay together no problem since the stitches are thick, but it's bleeding a tiny amount of cotton.
Otherwise it's what I expected. Have ridden in 30s and it got the job done.

soon to be in the corner of some drawer
Decent ninja hood. It's very stretchy around the head so small works fine in a large helmet. The collar at the back of the neck and shoulders isn't very long so it leaks a draft if I move my head around a lot. I bought this one because it doesn't have a seam down the middle like a mohawk, but two along the male pattern baldness lines which makes it more comfortable. Also nice is the lack of seams around the eyes, but the flip side to that is there's not a lot of structure there - the fabric is limp and moves around when I put the helmet on. Further, the stretchiness doesn't help in this regard. It's a good design, but there's a huge amount of room for improvement. Sorry, REV'IT!, but there are better options.

It straight up does the job and is comfortable too
I bought this because I wanted to ride in Northern Virginia winters but am pretty soft when it comes to cold air blasts. I have circled the block and said no thanks in sub 50 degree weather. Enter the Maximus. I have a shaved head so this thing fit perfect and kept sweat from my helmet liner. The material stretched to well below my jacket line, so I was completely covered. I took it out on I-66 at 80mph 43 degrees and I felt no wind. Heard it but didn't feel it on my neck. This pushed my riding temps down to the lower 30s and helped my put some miles on even in the winter! True wind stopping power!

Great for colder rides
This is my first Rev'it product and it did'nt disappoint. It stops the wind on my neck but is not too hot on my head. It tucks in nicely to my Rev'it Outback jacket and doesn't pull out with any movement, headchecks, etc. It is very thin material where it covers my head but still adds some warmth without making my helmet too tight. I wear a size large Shoei RF1100 and the small balaclava fits me perfectly. The only gripe I can make is that it slides down when I put my helmet on (from covering my nose to just covering my mouth). Ultimately not a big deal. Having my neck cold is a large factor in my choice not to ride below 50 degrees. This product kept my neck comgortable on a 30 degree highway ride. I cannot overstate the advantages of using this product!

Warm and comfortable
The day I received this, I took it out for a spin in 25 degree F weather and, while I was dodging ice spots and my fingers were about to fall off, my head and neck were completely comfortable. I was pretty amazed, because it's fairly thin, but however the "windstopper" fabric is constructed makes it very protective. And since it's thin, it fits nicely under a helmet without feeling bulky or uncomfortable (I wear a full-face helmet and it never feels awkward to me).
Size - I agree with the video, I think most people would wear the SM size.
A really great product. I highly recommend this if you ride a lot in the annoyingly cold months.

Oh Heck Yeah!
This is one of the best gear I bought. Wore this on 30 F at +/-70 mph for 4 hrs and kept my neck not feeling cold at all.

Large might have been too big, but small could be a little bigger.
This revit product is really nice, just used it for a week long trip to Vancouver island were the temps were about 32F-40F works like a charm. pretty sure your supposed to wear it over your nose like in the picture but it fogged my visor up so bad I wear it just below my nose and its actually more comfortable that way. these are supposed to be a snug fit and it works better when it is so I'm sure the large would have been too big. I wear a 7 hat and a large helmet. ultra comfortable and worth every penny. Although the bib flaps up from time to time and is annoying it works well to keep the wind and rain out.
