I bought this base layer to ride the french alps in early June. The temperatures were 3 degrees C ( 39 degrees F) at the summit with snow all around me. Riding a BMW 1200 GS with a small fairing and mesh pants (Rev It Airwave Pants), these kept me warm and I did not feel any breeze on my legs. So my rating for this product is excellent, with "FAIR" air flow rated above since it's not supposed to flow air. However, it does have a mesh backing on the rear of the thighs and lower legs. This helps you keep dry underneath. The Goretex did it's job. I would say it's water resistant, not proof, as eventually the water will soak thru in a rain shower. But it kept me dry enough and long enough to ride thru 15 minutes of rain before I could stop to put my rain gear on again while wearing my Airwave Mesh pants.
These do absurd odor after a couple days of riding, so you do need to wash these. I have since washed them twice and they still look new.
They are very comfortable, snug in the right places, and will fit great under jeans.
I would definitely buy these again should I need to. Value was rated as a "GOOD" because they are pricey. Maybe for less money I could have found a pair of wind/water resistant liners from a runners store. But since I don't exercise, I have no idea where I could have found one. Found lots online, but without trying them on first, I was hesitant to purchase them. Revzilla will not be seeing these again, as I'm definitely keeping them for future use.

Great way to keep warm!
Fit is a little snug - ended up going up one size to keep it comfortable. What's nice is that they fit well under jeans, and keep the air from getting to your skin. Definitely worth the money if you want to keep your legs from freezing.

Cedric S asked:Is the windstopper fabric on the entire front side of these pants? Especialy the crotch area? I have the Rev'It Airwave pants, and would like the capability to block the wind in cooler climates. And since the airwave pants have mesh legs and crotch, I'm looking to block the whole front. ThanksApr 22, 2014
Daniel G:Yes correct, covers entire front, the seat and back of the legs down to the knee are breathable mesh. This is made from the Gore windstopper fabric which is big in most cool weather bicycling wear.Apr 23, 2014
A shopper asked:What is the sizing like on these? After finding out that the Gamma's don't follow REV'IT's standard sizing chart, I'd like to know how these pants are sized. Specifically the 2-3XL pants.Oct 19, 2011
AliB:The sizing chart for pants provided by REV'IT! is for riding pants only. The material used in the Inca has a much higher stretch factor than the Gamma pants which are quite stiff in comparison. Please keep in mind that REV'IT! follows are very European sizing chart and their 2XL or 3XL will fit much smaller than an American counterpart. If you can provide us with actual measurements (not jean size), we can help you find the correct size in the Inca pant.Nov 4, 2011
