Air Flow!! Great Summer Jacket! I'm just going to put this out here...the "Air" in the jacket's na#e = Air Flow! The amount of air flow in this jacket is unbelievable, and I found myself shivering when wearing only a t-shirt underneath and going 55+ mph when it was about 70 degrees outside. Definitely going to depending on the awesome airflow for the extended summer weather we experience in Florida. Thankfully I haven't had to test out the safety features of the jacket, so I'll have to take the word of the manufacturer or other users here who have gone down with it. Definitely recommend this product for warm, sunny climates. Just watch out for cooler weather and/or any rain on the horizon! Also I rode out with this on for 1 night ride on the highway and came back with it splattered in bug guts. Might be doing quite a bit of handwashing, can't get away with leaving anything on there since I purchased the white color. March 23, 2015
Stylish. Cool. Chicks Dig It. Fits a little big around the waist. There are cinches, but they don't cinch enough for me, and would make the jacket fold weird. Whatevs. I've had several comments from hotties saying that I'm looking good in this jacket, while their angry boyfriends stand fume behind them- purse in hand. What I'm saying is this jacket is hot. Simultaneously, the jacket is quite cool, particularly in CA summers, and helps my back from getting all sweaty-nasty. There is a bit of a trade off in safety since the textile is not as sturdy as leather, but a race jacket is a little excessive sometimes. March 6, 2015
Great summer jacket, especially for the price. This is my first motorcycle jacket and I've had it about 6 months now. I had a hard time picking a jacket due to all of the choices out there and finally decided just to pick this up because it got good reviews and wasn't too expensive. It's obvious that it is made well and I have no doubt it will hold up. Since it was winter when I bought it this probably wasn't the best choice as it does nothing to keep you warm—it's not designed for that. It flows a ton of air. I added the seesoft back protector as well. Not sure why they call it soft, it's rather hard actually...but not too bad. Just feels like you are wearing a small backpack if you don't have any thick layers underneath. Things I like about this jacket are: Fit / Good length in the arms (I have long arms). Protection / construction Styling Air Flow Things that could be a little better: Pockets are a little hard to access A little scratchy on the neck in front (maybe it's just me though). A removable liner would be great but would increase the price so I prefer it's not there and the price is lower. February 20, 2015
Great jacket Great summer jacket. Amazing airflow. Looks awesome. I always have difficulty finding a good fitting jacket for myself(Short and Fat). This is by far the best fit for myself that i have found. Highly recommend this jacket, and rev'it. Only wish that the back protector came included with this, but its not too expensive, and a must have addition. December 29, 2014
Great jacket with great air flow This is my first jacket as I am a new rider, however I think it is a great jacket and air flow is really great. It does not have a thermal liner. Style is really cool, I would recommend it to a friend. December 15, 2014
Great Mesh Textile Jacket After comparing a comparable Alpinestars jacket, I decided on the Rev'It GT-R Air in white. The real deciding factor for me was the spring loaded snaps. I have had really bad luck with Velcro closures on other jackets wearing out after a season or two. Whereas, the snap closures on my leather Rev'It Hawk is still going strong. Which brings me to my other deciding factor, great experience with Rev'It. The GT-R Air doesn't disappoint. It was my go-to jacket all summer. The 3-D Mesh flows a ton of air, even though the small, tight weave wouldn't seem like it would. The reflective elements stand out, and the color accents are stylish. As for fit, I am 6 feet tall and 225 lbs. I wear a 44 inch chest and 34 inch waist when I buy suits. I usually buy size L in American brand clothes. For this jacket, I bought size XL, and it fits perfectly. Definitely more of a European sizing. The fit is comfortable, and the armor is secure and unobtrusive. White does get dirty. I machine washed and air dried the jacket with the armor removed, and the the jacket zipped. Held up fine. I highly recommend this jacket. November 28, 2014
You won't regret!! After two summers suffering of over heating due to my "non friendly jacket" for warm weather, I decided to bet my savings on this Revit summer jacket. I must say I hit the jackpot with my choice as I am completely satisfy with this product. First of all, I want to talk about sizing cause it is something specially important for those who buy from Revzilla from out of the USA (like me ^_^). My measures are: 39~40in chest, 5'8" height and about 170lbs (no big belly). I ended up picking the Medium size and it fitted absolutely perfect. I even used it wearing beneath a light sweter and had no drama at all. I wanted the back protector but they run out of stock, so I can't say how it woud fit with that on. I don't feel my self wrapped in the jacket, so I believe a back protector would go perfectly. The only thing that annoyed me is the strap on the back to fix the jacket to your pants belt. If you are wearing a bag full of stuff, the button on the strap becames a preassure point due to the weight of the bag. This is not big deal, but still is good for others to know. The air flow is great and when the temperature drops, you freeze xD After spring is over I will have the chance to try this jacket in over 90 degree days and see if I can stand weekend rides of over an hour in the route. Oh, I picked the white and black color and I'm surprise that the white color it's still white. I am wearing the jacket every day and I thought that with the heavy traffic, bus, trucks, etc, it wouldn't last a day clean. I even believed that it would get all dirty the moment I take it from its plastic bag, hahaha. November 12, 2014
Great Jacket Have had this jacket for awhile and it has preformed great on my naked bike. Very comfortable and moves a ton of air. October 27, 2014

Wayne J: Lots of features for a summer jacket, good price considering it's a Rev'It brand item. Jun 19, 2014
Ricardo H: I chose this because I live in southern California and I want to have great airflow as well as adequate protection. I've done quite a bit of research and rev'it seems to be a pretty high quality brand. Overall, this looked like the best option between style, airflow/comfort, and safety. My decision was between this one and the Tornado (waterproof/thermal liner) but overall, I figured that I would not be riding in the rain too much. For winter I will probably just buy a leather jacket. Jun 8, 2014

A shopper asked: GT-R Air or Airwave?
I have a one piece leather riding suit and two piece leather riding suit. I wear the top of the two piece for casual street riding but it's a little much and hot. Looking for something cooler and not so loud for running errands. Riding in SoCal and other desert rides on sport bike. What is a better option?

A s: Air.
I feel very comfortable wearing this with a tee shirt in 80+ degrees while riding. It has a close fit and I LOVE the collar. It's low cut and gives my neck room to breathe. I surges a spinal insert though. I wear this to work and on long (4hrs+) rides. You can always throw a sweater underneath. I ride with a club, I always have a vest on over it. I also own Rev'It pants with padding. They zip beautifully together to keep unwanted drafts from creeping up your back when leaned over on your tank full throttle open doing the speed limit ;)

The jacket also looks great with jeans. I've gotten compliments on the jacket from the ladies as we'll. I'm happy with my purchase.
I wouldn't wear this in the fall or anything below 60 degrees.

A shopper asked: Does this comes with any inside liner to protect from light rain, just in case it happens? Or same liner to be used to reduce airflow in cooler weather situations? Oct 13, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
Bert C: No inside liner. This jacket is great, but is meant for hot dry weather. You'll need to bring rain gear with you if you think rain is possible. Or may need to move up to a three season jacket with removable lining for cooler temperatures. Oct 13, 2014

David B: No liner but thats the way I like it. Its light and cool but still good crash protection. A rain suit over it does a much better job for wet or cool mornings Oct 14, 2014

David B: Remove back, shoulder and elbow armor. Fill 5gal bucket half way with luke warm water and a little squirt of mild dish detergent. Soak the jacket for 15 mins in the bucket of soapy water. Take out and rinse with fresh water. I just use a garden hose outdoors. Hang it up and let it dry. Replace armor Jul 15, 2014

A shopper asked: I have a Jaunt2 in Hi-Vis yellow and it does get dirty fairly quickly. Would i expect the same thing with the white/black and red jacket? If so I guess it is the black/white for me. This is probably a rhetorical question. May 2, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
David B: Its not rhetorical but it depends on the environment where you ride with the jacket. I live in Texas and I chose the white as its cooler feeling when not up to speed. Yep there are a few bug splats now and then but I wipe it down after every ride if it needs it and that helps keep it looking like new too. The white is a good visibility jacket too - not quite "Hi-Viz" but it does stand out. May 2, 2014
Reply to David Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Robert K: The white will get dirty, just as any other piece of clothing does. The more maintenance you put into the garment the longer the brightness/cleanliness will last. I went with the mostly white version knowing that it will show degradation with the fabric; however, I would rather be more visible even with dirty white than solid black. May 18, 2014
Reply to Robert Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
ROGER A: well i guess it just depends on the person and how you take care of it. After every ride i put it in the plastic that it came with and it still looks brand new. But it can get dirty fairly quick if you just throw it on dirt or something. May 4, 2014

G U: Yes. Even though the white is a very sharp looking jacket it's white and mine did get dirty like from my back pack straps. But a great jacket. May 2, 2014

I don't want to wear a gauntlet glove to cover the jacket if it hits me 3" above the wrist. I realize Im on border between M and L. Wonder if either one will work though. Thanks

Jon M: Below 50 degrees above 40 mph you are going to be cold in this jacket. I know because that was my cutoff for temp and speed for wearing this jacket this last fall season. Jan 9, 2015

Donald M: I doubt I'll ride below 55-60 here in jersey. Not to concerned about rain protection as I don't see myself riding in rain. Just looking for a happy medium in staying warm in the spring and fall months and something that will keep me cool in the summer months. This jacket should work well if I wear a sweatshirt underneath in the cooler months? Jan 9, 2015
Jon M: Yeah, if that is your plan, then you should be good to go. I love the jacket, just supplement with a sweatshirt when it gets cooler and you will be just fine. Jan 9, 2015
Donald M: Awesome, this answers my question. THX Jan 15, 2015
A shopper asked: I am wearing Dainese jacket with the size of 48. So what size suits me for this jacket? Thank you. Oct 14, 2014

Attila C: I am a 58 comfortably in Dainese jackets although after 20 more pounds I am down to the 56. I am a 5'10 and 205 lbs. I wear the Rev it gtr jacket xxl size. If I had to guess. Comfortably you'd be better off with a large. But check the size chart rather than asking other's advice. Oct 15, 2014

A shopper asked: Are there any Revit pants that go with the GT-R Air and match both style (color etc) as well as functionality (to be used under scourching sun!)??? Does Revzilla carries it? Oct 13, 2014

Attila C: I didn't find any. Although I am learning to stop buying grey or colorful designs. Black matches with everything. The gtr air pants grey does not match the white coloring in this jacket... Fyi Oct 15, 2014

A shopper asked: I have a 44" chest and I'm 5'11" . I'm a little confused on the REV'it Size chart. What size will I be? Feb 5, 2014

Nino C: I'm 6' with a 40" chest measurement and have the Large. It fits well for me with a tee and light fleece underneath and no back protector yet. I would definitely call and ask the guys at Revzilla to help, but I feel like the Large would be too tight for all situations. XL seems like it'd be right. Mar 12, 2014

Jason M: I'm like Nino C, 6' 40" chest about 190lbs. I ordered the large and while it does fit, it's just barely. It's tight everywhere so there's no way I could put anything under it. It seems the break off between Large and XL is about where I am. I returned the large to get an XL. Jun 1, 2014

A shopper asked: I am really concerned about the sizing. I am a 6 foot 3 male, with a really long arm span. 73 inches if it makes a difference. How are the sleeves on this jacket... are they on the long side of things? Mar 6, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Guillermo R: I think the sleeves are normal and not extra long, you might be better going to a shop and trying stuff on. Mar 7, 2015

A shopper asked: Does anyone know if the rear zipper is compatible with the Joe Rocket Blaster 2.0 Pants? I’ve never mixed brands before and I’m not sure if the zippers are universal. May 17, 2014

Robert K: If the pants have a short connection zipper in the back it will work. I connect this jacket to Avgsport pants that have a short connection zipper and it works flawlessly. May 18, 2014
