REV'IT! Fly Gloves

It might be hot out, but that’s no reason to sacrifice style or protection for comfort. The REV'IT! All these features are wrapped up in the best fitting lightweight gloves you’ve ever worn.

  • Lining: tri-fleece liner
  • Composition:
    • outer shell: 100% leather
    • lining: 100% polyester
  • Protection: PU injected finger knuckles and knuckle, schoeller®-keprotec® at palm, EVA foam at palm

I really Love the style and protection I have small hands and the xs, is still a little large for me. Overall, its a well made product that doesn't sacrifice style, comfort and protection. November 16, 2015
An excellent Fall/Spring, mild summer glove An overall great glove offering good protection with quality construction and materials. This is my third set of Rev'it gloves (not of this type) and falls into the same sizing pattern as the others. They seem a bit on the small side. I normally wear a large glove in most other brands but when it comes to Rev'it, I have to go x-large. On really hot, sunny days, these gloves will get really warm and don't really flow alot of air. For those days, I have a mesh set I resort to, granted I sacrifice protection for comfort. September 28, 2015
Size chart is wrong, order a size larger than you normally take. I needed a short cuff glove that would pair up well with my Rev'it Flatbush jacket. My hand width diameter is 9.75" which puts my at the top end of a large, so I ordered XL and they were way too tight. I don't mean like,"maybe they'll stretch tight", they were just a size too small. I exchanged them for the 2XL's which are still snug, I wouldn't want them any smaller. They fit about like my Dianese full gauntlets in XL. Rode with them once so far and they're good. Very nice leather (goatskin), very comfortable. I wish I could have found a glove that had this appearance with a little more protection like a race glove, palm slider would be nice. But overall these are great, I looked at almost every glove out there and this one was the only one that came close to what I was looking for. September 6, 2015
Great gloves, good quality, affordable price I like these gloves for the simplistic design, yet durable protection. They look nice and the leather feels good. Not too bulky either. I do sometimes experience numbness in my fingertips after wearing them for sometime, but I feel that will go away after they are broken in and conform to my hand. Overall, really nice gloves. August 31, 2015
Comfortable My hands are more comfortable in these gloves than they are without anything on. They get more comfortable with each wear like good pair of boots. A little pricey but worth it in my opinion. August 24, 2015
Fit is accurate. Quite satisfied i ordered these gloves because my hands are smaller than average based on my body size. i really liked the look of the gloves and decided to order. The size was very accurate and looked as expected. Only gripes is that the leather on the top knuckle got a scuff quite easily and there were a couple of fabric strings sticking up here and there. i just cut them off and issue was resolved. Good gloves though. August 20, 2015
Amazing gloves - a must have These are my go-to gloves for 95% of all riding. 3 season easy. Super comfortable and suppl but with hard shell protections under the leather. Discrete, super comfortable and I just received my second pair (others lasted 5 yrs & only now starting to crack some of the palm leather. I wear an XL in most gloves but an XXL in these. August 4, 2015
Did the job when I went down I'd become a Rev'it convert after taking a slide and roll in some gravel at 55mph while wearing one of their touring jackets and not having a single scratch or bruise on my upper body. When it was time for new summer gloves, I didn't even look at other brands. I'd only had my Flys for a few days — was still breaking them in — when I had a little mishap in a tight corner when descending a mountain road. I slid into a pile of rocks at the embankment. Once again, good gear saved my bacon. The gloves were ruined, but even though the palm of one was shredded, my hands were free from abrasion or impact wounds. Can't ask for more. Worst outcome was that I ruined a new pair of gloves I really liked! My only criticism is that in the XXL, I found the wrist to be a bit narrow when putting them on. But as I said, I was still breaking them in, so that may have improved. Other than that, they were very comfortable. The much cheaper gloves I bought just to wear for the remainder of my ride home were awful in comparison. August 3, 2015

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Doug T: These were very similar to the Dainese gloves I had and they seem to be lasting a lot longer. Like'm. Oct 6, 2015
David E. B: Needed something that would pair well with the Rev'it Flatbush Vintage Jacket. My Dianese full gauntlet race gloves don't fit that well with the design of the cuff on that jacket, not too mention doesn't look right at all. Sep 1, 2015
Scott W: Reviews. Needed good protection with good air flow. Aug 29, 2015
Richard M: Great fit and durable after break-in period. So goo that I purchased 2 pairs. Jun 10, 2015
John P: Best bang for the buck with knuckle protection and perforation for summer wear. May 20, 2015
John W. W: I have a pair of Sand Pro and love them, I want to give these a try for summer. May 13, 2015
robert s: There r 2 people at RevZilla that i watch for product clarity.. Both have very different deliveries when reviewing a product line.. Anyone can sell products but it takes a quality company to stand behind the purchase.. Kind of an old school approach.. I will continue to watch, decide and bye (smile) with confidence...please do not change your direction....thank-you.. Apr 11, 2015
Patrick N: Bought a pair as a gift for my Dad, liked them so much I had to buy a pair for myself! Mar 13, 2015
Alvaro H: Everyday gloves Nov 4, 2014
Peter P: purchased to replace other well-made, but very well-worn heavier REV'IT glove model I've used for six years. prefer the subtler design element but still having reasonable protection. Oct 10, 2014
nick d: sleek, simple style with protection. They'll look good on my bonneville! Jun 30, 2014
Carolyn G: These gloves were recommended by customer service at Revzilla...I ordered a men's small and they "fit like a glove". Wonderful finish and terrific fit. Comfy and snug! Jun 5, 2014
Rob B: I wanted a leather glove and I really liked the looks of this one with the knuckle protection being under the leather. May 28, 2014
Larry T: I can see by the purchase date I got 3yrs wear. That is pretty good considering how many times my first pair have been pulled on and off and how many miles are on them. That $89 is a little stiff but they are comfortable, well made, so I am springing
for another pair. Plus RevZilla gives excellent service.

A shopper asked: I'm looking for a glove with great protection, yet still looks sleek (not very flashy or technical looking). Is the knuckle armor as hard as on the monster glove? And how well do you think these would do in a crash situation compared to other gloves? Jun 7, 2011
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
2HLWF8: The monster is definitely better protection if they're made well. I bought a pair of each at the same time. The monsters are going back because the fingers are longer on the right than the left. Also, the left cuff is so loose when closed that i can fling the glove off my hand. I have zero faith they'd stay on in a crash.
As for the knuckle armor, it's much tougher on the monster. The fly knuckle armor can be folded in half. The monster, not so easily.

M0t0b1t: They will protect your hands in a crash but they are not going to protect like a "more technical" glove with sliders & etc. The leather is tough in my opinion. The stitching is fantastic as i have had no quality issues such as frays or loose threads. I think they will offer abrasion resistance with not much impact absorption if you are trying to get the best answer as far as "great protection" is concerned. Mar 23, 2012

Stevan P: The Fly Gloves offer a PU injected finger knuckles and knuckle, schoeller®-keprotec® at palm, EVA foam at palm. The Monster has an upgraded Carbon Knuckle protector which will offer a quality level of protection while reducing the weight of the glove. All REV'IT gloves are designed to offer maximum protection to the rider within the level of protection the rider chooses to wear. Jun 17, 2011

Chaz: I liked the fact that the armor is covered in leather so the glove looks a bit more classy in my opinion. The protection is quite good, and with the right size, they will not come off in an accident. They fit like a second skin, flexible yet lots of protection. Not quite as heavy as the monster, but great protection and value. Jun 26, 2011

CMMP: I can't compare it to the monster glove but it is very rigid; it's a lot stronger than a plastic or rubber knuckle guard. There isn't a ton of protection on the fingers themselves but I'm not sure how necessary it is. Jun 13, 2011

Petemoss: Pretty darn hard. In a light-midweight summer glove, the amount of protection is impressive. Definitely go one size larger than your actual glove size and see my review bout restrictive thumb movement... Aug 19, 2011

mrfortynine: I don't own monster glove. So I can't compare. But the knuckle protection on this pair seems quite sufficient. Aug 9, 2011

A shopper asked: Tour Master Summer Elite 2 Gloves for $50 or this glove REV'IT! Fly Gloves for $90. Which is the best buy?

Fit - i have icon cuff gloves now at a size 3XL -- would i need 3XL here as well?
Aug 7, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Chris KStaff: We've seen better response from the REV'IT! over time. Folks seem to be really pleased with their quality of construction and longevity. REV'IT!'s current sizing is pretty standard (older models tend to run small), so I would stick with the 3XL. Aug 7, 2013
