Very nice glove These gloves are very nice. They do fit a little small, though. I wanted to get a ventilated leather glove to replace a textile mesh glove. These gloves appear to offer much more protection, but are a little warmer than the mesh gloves they replace. October 16, 2014
Just Get Them! Great Gloves just got them today! I was going back and forth between these and alpinestars celer gloves. I have to say I'm more than happy with my purchase. After reading all the reviews finally decided after 3 days to get these. They were everything I expected and more. Seriously if you're considering these just get them they are exactly what you think they are. I have not tested them on my bike yet. However, they feel great they look great and they are great. The deciding factor in choosing these over the celer gloves was the fact that they lasted some guy that wrote a review on here 2 years. Do your research. I took into consideration about 5 to 8 pairs of gloves before deciding on these which took me about 2 weeks. 3 days just to narrow it down to 2. Also if anyone has questions regarding the sizing on these gloves fyi get a size bigger than what you measure on the chart. I'm a size medium according to the chart and I went up a size to large. Glad that I took everyone's advice and went up a size. All in all more than happy. September 24, 2014
Great Summer Gloves I was looking a light-weight gloves for summer which offered good protection. These are little tight at first, but after a few days I can feel them breaking in for a comfortable fit. September 15, 2014
The best glove out there! This is my second pair of Rev It Fly gloves. They fit great, look great and are durable! September 15, 2014
Good gloves, but very short thumbs I wear any size from a small to large, but most of the time medium is my size. Most seemed to recommend going a size up for these gloves, but I decided to go with a medium anyways. Overall, the gloves were nice, with good knuckle protection and a nice snug fit. The fingers are the perfect length and width, but the only issue I have with them is that the thumbs are quite short relative to the fingers. I would say that my fingers and thumbs are fairly normal sized, so I though this was kind of strange. I decided ti keep them with the hopes that they stretch a little bit over time, and they haven't given me any issues so far on hour long rides. I would recommend trying them on first as the fitment is a little unusual. August 18, 2014
Pretty good basic gloves! Great gloves...comfortable and decent protection despite being fairly basic gloves. That said, my one and only beef is the thumbs...I wish there was a little more give, although maybe with extended use they'll stretch more. I ride a Harley V-Rod and reaching some buttons like the horn takes some effort as the thumb doesn't give a whole lot. That said I'd still buy another pair in a heartbeat. So far velcro seems to be holding up and gloves are easy to get on and off. August 11, 2014
Like a Second Skin These are great light-weight gloves for summer. They a little tight at first, but after a few weeks I can feel them stretching and breaking in for a custom fit. Besides that, they look awesome without being obnoxious! June 23, 2014
Would be good if they fit me As others have noted, these gloves fit very very small. By the size chart, my hand measured an L with plenty of room to spare, but the L was very very tight. Returned it, and got an XL, and it still fits too tight on some parts (although now I have giant flappy pinkies). I can't seem to get a confortable fit with these gloves. I also don't like how they feel when grabbing the bike's grips. I feel like they're a nuisance when I'm riding. I really needed to wear them on the bike, so I didn't return them, The construction itself seems to be of good quality, it just seems like my hands don't match the template they use. I'm just 5'7 and my hands are definitely not that big, although I have long fingers. For reference my previous Dainese gloves in size L fit me perfectly. I'll probably get a different pair of gloves soon. June 13, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Peter P: purchased to replace other well-made, but very well-worn heavier REV'IT glove model I've used for six years. prefer the subtler design element but still having reasonable protection. Oct 10, 2014
Joseph I: looking for nice pair minimalistic leather gloves. Sep 17, 2014
nick d: sleek, simple style with protection. They'll look good on my bonneville! Jun 30, 2014
Carolyn G: These gloves were recommended by customer service at Revzilla...I ordered a men's small and they "fit like a glove". Wonderful finish and terrific fit. Comfy and snug! Jun 5, 2014
Rob B: I wanted a leather glove and I really liked the looks of this one with the knuckle protection being under the leather. May 28, 2014
Larry T: I can see by the purchase date I got 3yrs wear. That is pretty good considering how many times my first pair have been pulled on and off and how many miles are on them. That $89 is a little stiff but they are comfortable, well made, so I am springing
for another pair. Plus RevZilla gives excellent service.

A shopper asked: I'm looking for a glove with great protection, yet still looks sleek (not very flashy or technical looking). Is the knuckle armor as hard as on the monster glove? And how well do you think these would do in a crash situation compared to other gloves? Jun 7, 2011

2HLWF8: The monster is definitely better protection if they're made well. I bought a pair of each at the same time. The monsters are going back because the fingers are longer on the right than the left. Also, the left cuff is so loose when closed that i can fling the glove off my hand. I have zero faith they'd stay on in a crash.
As for the knuckle armor, it's much tougher on the monster. The fly knuckle armor can be folded in half. The monster, not so easily.

M0t0b1t: They will protect your hands in a crash but they are not going to protect like a "more technical" glove with sliders & etc. The leather is tough in my opinion. The stitching is fantastic as i have had no quality issues such as frays or loose threads. I think they will offer abrasion resistance with not much impact absorption if you are trying to get the best answer as far as "great protection" is concerned. Mar 23, 2012

Stevan P: The Fly Gloves offer a PU injected finger knuckles and knuckle, schoeller®-keprotec® at palm, EVA foam at palm. The Monster has an upgraded Carbon Knuckle protector which will offer a quality level of protection while reducing the weight of the glove. All REV'IT gloves are designed to offer maximum protection to the rider within the level of protection the rider chooses to wear. Jun 17, 2011

Chaz: I liked the fact that the armor is covered in leather so the glove looks a bit more classy in my opinion. The protection is quite good, and with the right size, they will not come off in an accident. They fit like a second skin, flexible yet lots of protection. Not quite as heavy as the monster, but great protection and value. Jun 26, 2011

CMMP: I can't compare it to the monster glove but it is very rigid; it's a lot stronger than a plastic or rubber knuckle guard. There isn't a ton of protection on the fingers themselves but I'm not sure how necessary it is. Jun 13, 2011

Petemoss: Pretty darn hard. In a light-midweight summer glove, the amount of protection is impressive. Definitely go one size larger than your actual glove size and see my review bout restrictive thumb movement... Aug 19, 2011

mrfortynine: I don't own monster glove. So I can't compare. But the knuckle protection on this pair seems quite sufficient. Aug 9, 2011

Feloracing: Hard enough for protection but you don't even know is there since you don't feel it at all. Aug 9, 2012

Fit - i have icon cuff gloves now at a size 3XL -- would i need 3XL here as well?
Aug 7, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Chris KStaff: We've seen better response from the REV'IT! over time. Folks seem to be really pleased with their quality of construction and longevity. REV'IT!'s current sizing is pretty standard (older models tend to run small), so I would stick with the 3XL. Aug 7, 2013
