It might be hot out, but that’s no reason to sacrifice style or protection for comfort. The REV'IT! Fly Glove is a fully perforated summer glove that will let the air in, but keep the asphalt out, thanks to its all leather construction, PU injected fingers, and knuckle and schoeller®-keprotec® palm protection. All these features are wrapped up in the best fitting lightweight gloves you’ve ever worn.

Snug fit, but that works for me. They're comfortable, they look good and they seem like they will do the job as far as protection goes.

Received my flys today and they looked great And the goat skin is really smooth and tight. I ordered a size M and they fit snug just the way I like it. The only complaint is the space between the thumeb and the palm isn't flush to the hand and It gets annoying when you stretch out your hand but can't notice it when holding the grips. I'm hoping they will break in and it will go away. But nothing I'm too concerned About. Recommended get the next size up. Ride safe.

These were the first sub $100 gloves i purchased and no regrets.
The build quality is fantastic, i wore them everyday for months in Houston heat and they are still holding up.
The fit, the size up is spot on but it will still feel very snug when you first get them. That's normal, no worries if that happens to you. The glove originally felt too short for my fingers and palm could just barely squeeze through without thinking i would tear the material. BUT, after one week, the fit was fantastic. You hardly know they are there. Gripping the controls and any tactile need such as hanging up my bluetooth headset was easy.
They flow air! In 108 degree heat my hands were kept cool and in traffic mind you.

Finally the Fly gloves were sent from Hawaii to Thailand. Really love the simple look of the Fly. I planned to wear them a bit tight knowing that they would stretch a bit and glad I made the right decision. I believe this applies to all leather gloves as well. I am a very picky person but after seeing and trying the Fly on I have no complaints. These gloves will be very suitable for a short casual ride and will be suitable for a climate like Thailand. Enjoy riding.

These gloves fit perfectly. It is nice and sleek; terrific airflow, and very easy to use. But then again that's for just about every short glove. Just knuckle protection but hey it's not something I'd use to go tot the track or the canyons.

How hard is the knuckle and finger armor on this glove?

I'm looking for a glove with great protection, yet still looks sleek (not very flashy or technical looking). Is the knuckle armor as hard as on the monster glove? And how well do you think these would do in a crash situation compared to other gloves?

The Fly Gloves offer a PU injected finger knuckles and knuckle, schoeller®-keprotec® at palm, EVA foam at palm. The Monster has an upgraded Carbon Knuckle protector which will offer a quality level of protection while reducing the weight of the glove. All REV'IT gloves are designed to offer maximum protection to the rider within the level of protection the rider chooses to wear.

Answer: 
They will protect your hands in a crash but they are not going to protect like a "more technical" glove with sliders & etc. The leather is tough in my opinion. The stitching is fantastic as i have had no quality issues such as frays or loose threads. I think they will offer abrasion resistance with not much impact absorption if you are trying to get the best answer as far as "great protection" is concerned.

I liked the fact that the armor is covered in leather so the glove looks a bit more classy in my opinion. The protection is quite good, and with the right size, they will not come off in an accident. They fit like a second skin, flexible yet lots of protection. Not quite as heavy as the monster, but great protection and value.

I can't compare it to the monster glove but it is very rigid; it's a lot stronger than a plastic or rubber knuckle guard. There isn't a ton of protection on the fingers themselves but I'm not sure how necessary it is.

The monster is definitely better protection if they're made well. I bought a pair of each at the same time. The monsters are going back because the fingers are longer on the right than the left. Also, the left cuff is so loose when closed that i can fling the glove off my hand. I have zero faith they'd stay on in a crash.
As for the knuckle armor, it's much tougher on the monster. The fly knuckle armor can be folded in half. The monster, not so easily.

REV'IT! Jackets are European (slim) cut and generally more narrow in the shoulders than other brands. Please take this into account when choosing the appropriate size. Most riders with any body type other than "slim" would need to order one size larger than they typically might wear in other brands, if you are in between sizes, we recommend erring on the larger side. SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
