REV'IT! Defender GTX Pants (Size 2XL Only)
Very Nice. Can't Go Wrong
I purchased some less expensive pants first off Amazon.com. Just trying them on was like being in a sauna! Also, a cheap plastic buckle was already broken on the side that tightens the waist. I sent them back and got the Defender pants.
The Defenders cost more but the quality is so far above what I had before. These are perfect for me. And..... they are very warm without the sweaty, clammy feeling.
The protection is perfectly placed! The knees are set up exactly right for me.
I have not worn them without the liner so I could not say much about the ventilation. However I got them for the cold and wet weather and feel these are perfect for me.
My advice is to get them the next size up if you are on the bubble.
You really can not go wrong with these, as they are great pants!

Great Pants, a bit on the small side
These are great pants. They are discontinued but based on the general quality and features I'd buy Rev'it again. I must say I prefer liners to built in liners. The Gor really works, every other rain protection I've had feels like a sauna. This actually breaths. Ventilation is ok but not great. Stay moving and you'll be fine. The workman ship has been great so far, maybe I just got lucky. Fit is another story. They fit small, really small. I'm usually an XL at most, I got these in a XXL based on the fit charts and they are tight around the waist. My guess is this is from the old "European" fit model. Please accommodate us fatties!!!! Other than that they are excellent, the first high quality riding pants I've owned.

Excellent Product. For all season weather
I picked the jacket during summer and till this point i can clearly see the overall utility value of the jacket. I picked up the pant lately and the first thing that hit me was the size. The pants are definitely smaller than the size mentioned. Dont go by Jeans size. Use a proper measuring tape and measure around your belly button. That reference will be the closest.
If you are wearing a 34 jeans and have atheletic build or even some fat around your waist, go for XL or 2XL.
I picked 2XL inspite of XL fitting me for i may want to add another layer based on cold weather. I also have couple of long welcrow tapes that i tie close to the sastec to ensure its not floating around and probably end up not protecting the parts it should.
Always calculate for the additional two layers inside.
The thermal and Goretex work wonders. YOu may not need a heated clothing if you are all layer up and all you need a glove to match it. I infact have an heated glove to complement.
At 40deg even without the Thermal layer it was completely fine. I am sure the winter can be managed with GTX.
Another point to note is ease of washing.
If you want to connect the jacket and pants, the easiest way is to connect it before wearing, wear the pants and pull over the jacket before zipping and locking the pants.
There is no way you can connect the pant and jacket once worn

If you still see your size available at the discount price, buy them. I've gone from 20F to 100F in these without issues. I've been in about 500 miles of solid rain in them and managed to get a small bit wet at the velcro spot where the thigh vents are.

the fit a little small (bought XL-tall).
But awesome pants.

Since I bought these pants I haven't had a chance to test them out on the road because the weather the last couple of weeks has been horrible. They seem to fit well and look good. They run pretty small in my opinion. I'm sure they will work well since the jacket does.

Awesome, just needs a reinforced seat.
I am moving from Super Sport to adventure sport so this style of gear/riding is relatively new to me. So here are my initial Impressions
After receiving this jacket/pants combo I went through it with a fine tooth comb looking for flaws. The over all build of the Pants is of good quality. I would have liked to see the fabric little more reinforced in high abrasion areas with the super fabric, especially on the seat area where the fabric feels as thin as low abrasion areas. The elasticated panels might be flawed on my pants, but on the other side they feel fine. the seems on the other side aren't ribbed as if the needle/glue missed that particular area. This could be me just being knit picky so I am not too worried about it. The thermal layer feels plush and warm and seams of equal quality. Going over the Gore-Tex liner it looks and feels like it will hold against rain however I have yet to try it out.
Rear pockets would have been a great addition or at least a couple of water proof fronts.
Velcro for venting gives me the impression it might wear out a bit quicker than the rest of the jacket.
I particularly like how you can use one liner without having to use the other. The ankles zip in place. I wish the jacket had a similar feature for the cuffs.
The have a large that fits really well and doesn't offer much additional room for additional clothing for a slimmer guy(that or a I'm a big guy with a slim mirror). with that said if it isn't warm enough for you, you might be able to sneak in some thermal under-armor. The customer service team did specify these aren't over pants.
Out of all the liner pants I have looked into/researched/considered I find this particular set to be of good quality for the price and am happy with this being my number 1 pick.
Unfortunately I do not have any road time as of yet, nor have the tags been removed. Ill update as soon as I can give more info on the function

See my Jacket review. Found that these had been put on clearance so was able to get the pants with the money I saved on the jacket! Great pants, great price!
