No more Numb hands! The stock grips on a 2015 R1 are terrible. My hands went numb after only a few minutes of riding. Installed these bad boys and woah, what a difference! Not too bad to install. No grip glue required, but a bit doesn't hurt. Durability wise, it's a wear item. If you ride a lot, they are going to wear down. The price to replace them is miniscule. Awesome bang for the buck! I also removed my stock bar ends and replaced with lighter Bikemaster bar ends. Helped a lot with the Vibration through the handle bars. Variety of colors, but dark grey and black fit the Factory Yamaha colors for the 2015 R1. August 17, 2015
Amazing! Just installed these bad boys on my 2015 zx10r. They look more aggressive then the stock grips and as an added bonus they reduce the vibration from the handlebars. Oh and did I mention they are super comfy? Pain in the @$$ to remove stock grips... Use rubbing alcohol and the new grips slide right on with little effort. Why haven't you bought a pair yet? August 12, 2015
Did Not Fit Did not fit 07 Suzuki GSXR 750. But felt good to the touch. I damaged one of them so no returning them . August 5, 2015
Good Grips I bought the red/black ProGrip 719 for my 06 CBR600RR. They are a big upgrade from the stock grips for vibration reduction and over all appearance. -1 star only because the rubber used to dampen vibration is very easy to mark up and a pain to clean. The black grips would probably be the best way to go. July 14, 2015
Uncomfortable vibrating grips. I usually don't like being that guy that has a negative review but these just have not been satisfactory. They look nice and were a decent price. But the first pair I got I noticed they tore within a week or two of normal city riding. Revzilla was awesome and set me up with a new pair. I tried them and my hands just feel sore. I thought they would be good for my hands since it seems like a nice gel material that would absorb vibrations but I just notice my hands being sore compared to my original grips. They do the job but just uncomfortable for my hands. July 13, 2015
Good grips Fit my old 2011 kawasaki ninja er650f just fine. Comfortable grips. I miss them. Work well installed over heat demon heated grip wraps. Definitely felt the heat without destroying the grip. July 8, 2015
Good so far These grips are new to me this year. After just a couple thousand miles, they show no wear at all. They are better than standard superbike grips in that they are thicker by a few millimeters and include a gel like center section. They certainly help (but not completely) quell any annoying vibrations and have also improved my ability to go farther without a need for a break. Comfort is a 10 for a superbike grip. They work really well in the wet by not getting slick. It is reassuring when you hit bad weather that you are able to maintain a positive grip on the bars. Knowing what I know now, I would have replaced my other grips a lot sooner! P.S. Revzilla is just AWESOME!!!!! No need to go elsewhere for the same product!! Revzilla will win the day, everyday! Looks and feels great The colors look great and the dual compound is nice and soft. They made a huge difference with absorbing vibrations. June 14, 2015

Chris L: comfy as hell Apr 5, 2014
Victor M: These grips look great and reduce vibrations significantly. Use the hairspray method for applying these grips for the best results. Don't use grip glue because these grips are sticky as it is and the instructions do not even mention using glue. I tried with grip glue the first time and I had to cut the grips off because they did not slide all the way to the ends. Hairspray method allowed for about a minute of adjustment during install and the grips have not budged since applied. Apr 4, 2014

A shopper asked: Is this pricing for a single grip or 2. Also will cutting these to make them about 1/4 inch shorter cause alternet issues like causing it to fit looser or the such. I want to attach my clamp on mirrors so id cut these grips just a tad to attach the mirrors if you get the gist? Nov 24, 2013

Daniel H: The pricing is for two grips. One has a slightly larger inner diameter to fit the throttle tube. Trimming them will not affect the tightness. Nov 25, 2013

Neil S: This is for TWO grips, a pair. I made the mistake of thinking it was for one and ordered two. Maybe Revzilla can add that to the description.

The ends of the grips are open and I use my bar end mirrors on them without issue. Not sure if that answers your question.

TODD K: They are a pair
They can easily be cut
They were a little longer than the stock Honda grips, so I trimmed mine down an 1/8-1/4" with a razor blade
There is acually a recess near the end which gives you a good guide slice off

Jason L: Dear Shopper
I installed my grips and found the same problem. I didn’t cut my grips, (as to the wear a little loose). I did put some glue when installing them though.
After 13 months they are due to be replaced due to wear. I have noticed that the ring on the outer part of the grip has torn away.

I’am very happy with these grips and will be ordering the same again.

Alexander D: It's a pair so you recieve 2 grips. The one with the smaller hole is for the throttle. Cutting it will not cause any issues with the grip. Nov 25, 2013

Shreyash M asked: Do these grips have closed ends or open ends? Is it possible to install the bar end sliders on these grips?
Also will they fit Ninja 650?
Sep 24, 2013

Doug L: These grips are open-ended, and should fit just fine on any bike with standard 7/8" bars. I've installed them with bar sliders on three different bikes with no issues. The grips can be stretched a bit as they're installed (or compressed lengthwise), so even if you run your controls close or farther away from the end of the bars, they'll fit perfectly. They wear very well too. I have 20,000 miles on my current set (black with gray inserts), and other than a little darkening of the gray area they look and function like new. I won't use any other grip as long as they continue to make these. Sep 24, 2013

Barry D: I purchased the open end grips to install handle bar weights - don't know if they will fit your Ninja though.

Revzilla will take good care of you

Jeremy B: I can tell you the ends are closed, I had to use and exacto blade to cut out an opening. I can't answer about the fitment on a Kawasaki 650, I've never installed these grips on one before. There's a really good chance they should fit. Sep 25, 2013

A shopper asked: Do these come suitable for 7/8 and 1 inch bar sizes? Dec 19, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: All grips, unless otherwise noted, are designed for 7/8" bars. The grip's inner diameter are different to work in conjunction with the throttle tube. Dec 21, 2012

A shopper asked: Two part question. Are these grips considered thicker than average (good for large hands), and what diameter bar will they fit? Aug 21, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The Pro Grip RVGS Gel Grip 719 are not any thicker than standard grips, just a littler softer. We recommend looking at the Pro Grip 714 Dual Sport Grips which are a larger outer diameter and are also a softer grip that is great at keeping unwanted vibrations from putting your hands to sleep.
