Pro Grip RVGS Gel Grip 719
Good so far
These grips are new to me this year. After just a couple thousand miles, they show no wear at all. They are better than standard superbike grips in that they are thicker by a few millimeters and include a gel like center section. They certainly help (but not completely) quell any annoying vibrations and have also improved my ability to go farther without a need for a break. Comfort is a 10 for a superbike grip. They work really well in the wet by not getting slick. It is reassuring when you hit bad weather that you are able to maintain a positive grip on the bars. Knowing what I know now, I would have replaced my other grips a lot sooner! P.S. Revzilla is just AWESOME!!!!! No need to go elsewhere for the same product!! Revzilla will win the day, everyday!

Looks and feels great
The colors look great and the dual compound is nice and soft. They made a huge difference with absorbing vibrations.

Replaces my stock grips, which were wearing out, with these. They are extremely cushiony and anyone who doesn't have them should be jelly. No problems at all gripping them firmly and they haven't torn or anything, yet. Its not like they coat a lot either way.

Goldilocks would approve. Real nice gel grips with just the right amount of thickness, tack, squeezability, and surface contour. I replaced another pair of quality ProGrip race grips which were a bit thinner, more firm and very rough textured. Great for the track, but bugged me for everyday use. Great price and I like the black on black color of the new ones too. Used a hair dryer to heat the grips and WD40 on the bars and inside grips. Went on slick as a whistle and dried solid.

Prepare to sweat
I had no idea how difficult it would be to put these on but I found out! Now this was only the case for the throttle not the left handle bar. With a little soap and water and a screw driver to loosen the grip from the bar, it came right off but i did needed my rubber grip gloves to pull it off. But for the right grip I almost cut the stock grip off after about 15 mins of tugging! On the 2014 CBR500R the bar is ridged so even with soap and water it doesn't budge. You have to pull up the end closest to the bike and roll it back on itself to get it loose. than add soap and water and TUG! Let me tell you how I'm never doing this again unless these new grips fall off!
Aside from the install I like the way they feel and fit. You feel like you have more grip on the bars (makes stock grips look like there is nothing there) but it doesn't help too much with hand fatigue. Also they are a little longer than stock so they fill up the extra space left from the stock grips.

easy and cheap comfort upgrade
the 719's are a little larger diameter than the stock grips on my monster, which were causing me a little discomfort on the throttle hand. super easy swap out for the replacements and i'm a happy camper. used a little hairspray to install, works like a champ.

I recently purchased these to replace the 30,000 mile set i had on my CBR1000rr. I needed something a little more durable due to the fact that i commute on a daily basis. Even before i was able to get them on my bike and actuall get out on the road with them. The grips automatically fet better them ones i had oh the bike. When i was finally able to get out on the road, i felt alot less vibration from the road and the extra thick grips felt 10 times better. Between feeling the road less and having more to grip the new grips were amazing.
