Pro Grip RVGS Gel Grip 719
great so far
Easy install with hairspray. A bit thicker and fits my palms much better. Incredibly less vibration on the freeway. Great purchase. Just remember they come in sets...

I was looking for a replacement for the stock grips on my Ducati Monster, and these had extremely good reviews and very minimal cost. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased. Vast improvement over stock.

Don't get anything but black/black
The side effect of a very sticky compund is that it gets dirty easily. The grips will look great for the first week, then promptly get dingy.
Great grips, otherwise

Nice grip at a decent price
Bought these on the recommendation of someone at Revzilla - they've never steered me wrong, so why not?
I used a little bit of hairspray to mount one of the grips, and used a little bit of dish soap for the other. No problems either way.
They absorb a bit more vibration than my legacy grips which was a nice touch. I bought the red/black units which matches my white bike with red/black trim.

Why Pay More?
I have yet to experience any vibration induced hand fatigue from these.
My old grips were in desperate need of replacement and these worked out perfectly.
In terms of fitment, I had to trim some excess material off of the throttle grip to make sure it didn't bind on the clip-on or bar end cap. No big deal.

cheap and effective - Highly recommended
These grips came recommended by another internet forum, and I was not disappointed. Much cushier than the stock grips, and the splash of color is a good look. Installed using the hairspray method instead of the soapy & water (??) recommended in the instructions that came with the grip. Took maybe 20 minutes, and well worth the effort.

Cut down on a lot of the vibrations. A lot less dead hand. Also they look way better in person and they are very very soft/comfortable!

No numb fingers
I've been using ProGrip 719 grips on both my street and track bike. On my R1 for the street, the grips offered a great amount of cushion to ease the vibrations, yet durable enough several years withstanding the constant twisting of the hand. On my GSXR 750 for the track, the grips offered slightly too much cushion. Although a good amount of from tire feel could be felt with them, I would like to have just a bit more. My hands never got tired from vibrations felt at higher RPM's. Unfortunately, the durability was not as long as on my R1. I was doing 2 tracks days month, but the wear was quite more noticeable, as expected, for being on the track. If purchasing for the street, you have made a great choice. If you are purchasing for the track, you have made a good choice, but do consider another ProGrip model that is more durable.
