nice These look nice feel good on the hands, they have a tight fit August 26, 2014
Excellent product Great product, fast delivery, good customer service. Would highly recommended this product. August 11, 2014
Had got recommendations on these grips, so I had to try them Several riders in my forum group had recommended these grips. After getting the old grips off they went on somewhat easy and have stayed put. They help eliminate vibration and allow for better grip on the bars than the stock grips. August 4, 2014
Just what was needed. Exactly what was expected, easy on and very hand friendly. August 4, 2014
ehh for the money maybe I ride a '13 R6 and I wear Alpinestars GPX gloves, and the throttle hand is torn apart through the grip to the second layer of rubber where the inside of the thumb and the grip meet. Maybe it's just a combination of the beefy material of the glove there, maybe I ride with too tight of a grip, but after 1500 miles it's time to replace them again. For $15 I guess I can't complain too much, but I still don't feel like they'd last a whole season. That being said, they are comfy, they cut down on the vibration and the grip is great, but just based on the durability I would never buy them again. July 19, 2014
Great stickiness Quick install using hair spray method! grip feels great with gloves on July 13, 2014
Not much better than stock I bought these grips to compliment a set of woodcraft clip ons that I purchesed here. These grips were a piece of cake to install...just used the hair spray trick. Once on, they felt absolutely no diff than the stock grips. In my opinion, they are no better, no worst than the OEM grips. Soooo...I put my stock grips back on. June 16, 2014
Great grips! I'm on my second set of these grips after a lowside chewed up the first set. They're great replacement grips at a bargain price, not any sort of miracle vibration removers though. Install was easy using only some hairspray. After 6 months there was no issue with the grips moving or coming loose. Some slight fading has occurred in that time though, but it isn't noticeable unless you compare them to new grips. I'm happy with them and would buy them a third time. June 14, 2014

Victor M: These grips look great and reduce vibrations significantly. Use the hairspray method for applying these grips for the best results. Don't use grip glue because these grips are sticky as it is and the instructions do not even mention using glue. I tried with grip glue the first time and I had to cut the grips off because they did not slide all the way to the ends. Hairspray method allowed for about a minute of adjustment during install and the grips have not budged since applied. Apr 4, 2014

A shopper asked: Is this pricing for a single grip or 2. Also will cutting these to make them about 1/4 inch shorter cause alternet issues like causing it to fit looser or the such. I want to attach my clamp on mirrors so id cut these grips just a tad to attach the mirrors if you get the gist? Nov 24, 2013

Daniel H: The pricing is for two grips. One has a slightly larger inner diameter to fit the throttle tube. Trimming them will not affect the tightness. Nov 25, 2013

Neil S: This is for TWO grips, a pair. I made the mistake of thinking it was for one and ordered two. Maybe Revzilla can add that to the description.

The ends of the grips are open and I use my bar end mirrors on them without issue. Not sure if that answers your question.

Jason L: Dear Shoppe
I installed my grips and found the same problem. I didn’t cut my grips, (as to the wear a little loose). I did put some glue when installing them though.
After 13 months they are due to be replaced due to wear. I have noticed that the ring on the outer part of the grip has torn away.

I’am very happy with these grips and will be ordering the same again.

TODD K: They are a pair
They can easily be cut
They were a little longer than the stock Honda grips, so I trimmed mine down an 1/8-1/4" with a razor blade
There is acually a recess near the end which gives you a good guide slice off

Alexander D: It's a pair so you recieve 2 grips. The one with the smaller hole is for the throttle. Cutting it will not cause any issues with the grip. Nov 25, 2013

Shreyash M asked: Do these grips have closed ends or open ends? Is it possible to install the bar end sliders on these grips?
Also will they fit Ninja 650?
Sep 24, 2013

Doug L: These grips are open-ended, and should fit just fine on any bike with standard 7/8" bars. I've installed them with bar sliders on three different bikes with no issues. The grips can be stretched a bit as they're installed (or compressed lengthwise), so even if you run your controls close or farther away from the end of the bars, they'll fit perfectly. They wear very well too. I have 20,000 miles on my current set (black with gray inserts), and other than a little darkening of the gray area they look and function like new. I won't use any other grip as long as they continue to make these. Sep 24, 2013

Barry D: I purchased the open end grips to install handle bar weights - don't know if they will fit your Ninja though.

Jeremy B: I can tell you the ends are closed, I had to use and exacto blade to cut out an opening. I can't answer about the fitment on a Kawasaki 650, I've never installed these grips on one before. There's a really good chance they should fit. Sep 25, 2013

A shopper asked: Do these come suitable for 7/8 and 1 inch bar sizes? Dec 19, 2012

RevZilla: All grips, unless otherwise noted, are designed for 7/8" bars. The grip's inner diameter are different to work in conjunction with the throttle tube. Dec 21, 2012

A shopper asked: Two part question. Are these grips considered thicker than average (good for large hands), and what diameter bar will they fit? Aug 21, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The Pro Grip RVGS Gel Grip 719 are not any thicker than standard grips, just a littler softer. We recommend looking at the Pro Grip 714 Dual Sport Grips which are a larger outer diameter and are also a softer grip that is great at keeping unwanted vibrations from putting your hands to sleep.
