Great Product
I recently purchased these to replace the 30,000 mile set i had on my CBR1000rr. I needed something a little more durable due to the fact that i commute on a daily basis. Even before i was able to get them on my bike and actuall get out on the road with them. The grips automatically fet better them ones i had oh the bike. When i was finally able to get out on the road, i felt alot less vibration from the road and the extra thick grips felt 10 times better. Between feeling the road less and having more to grip the new grips were amazing.

Much improvement on feel and controls on my grips. Slightly less vibrations, nothing dramatic or life changing. The gel feels just like my Riley Reid flashlight...

No numb fingers
I've been using ProGrip 719 grips on both my street and track bike. On my R1 for the street, the grips offered a great amount of cushion to ease the vibrations, yet durable enough several years withstanding the constant twisting of the hand. On my GSXR 750 for the track, the grips offered slightly too much cushion. Although a good amount of from tire feel could be felt with them, I would like to have just a bit more. My hands never got tired from vibrations felt at higher RPM's. Unfortunately, the durability was not as long as on my R1. I was doing 2 tracks days month, but the wear was quite more noticeable, as expected, for being on the track. If purchasing for the street, you have made a great choice. If you are purchasing for the track, you have made a good choice, but do consider another ProGrip model that is more durable.

easy and cheap comfort upgrade
the 719's are a little larger diameter than the stock grips on my monster, which were causing me a little discomfort on the throttle hand. super easy swap out for the replacements and i'm a happy camper. used a little hairspray to install, works like a champ.

cheap and effective - Highly recommended
These grips came recommended by another internet forum, and I was not disappointed. Much cushier than the stock grips, and the splash of color is a good look. Installed using the hairspray method instead of the soapy & water (??) recommended in the instructions that came with the grip. Took maybe 20 minutes, and well worth the effort.

Great grips
Cut down on a lot of the vibrations. A lot less dead hand. Also they look way better in person and they are very very soft/comfortable!

Is this the pricing for just 1 grip or 1 pair of grips?
Lawrence L on Nov 24, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The pricing is for the pair of grips. There are two grips in the package. One fits the clutch side, and the other fits the throttle side.
Is this pricing for a single grip or 2. Also will cutting these to make them about 1/4 inch shorter cause alternet issues like causing it to fit looser or the such. I want to attach my clamp on mirrors so id cut these grips just a tad to attach the mirrors if you get the gist?
A shopper on Nov 24, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The pricing is for two grips. One has a slightly larger inner diameter to fit the throttle tube. Trimming them will not affect the tightness.
Do these grips have closed ends or open ends? Is it possible to install the bar end sliders on these grips?
Also will they fit Ninja 650?
Shreyash M on Sep 24, 2013
BEST ANSWER: These grips are open-ended, and should fit just fine on any bike with standard 7/8" bars. I've installed them with bar sliders on three different bikes with no issues. The grips can be stretched a bit as they're installed (or compressed lengthwise), so even if you run your controls close or farther away from the end of the bars, they'll fit perfectly. They wear very well too. I have 20,000 miles on my current set (black with gray inserts), and other than a little darkening of the gray area they look and function like new. I won't use any other grip as long as they continue to make these.
Looking to get new grips for my cbr500r. Was hoping to get some a little bigger in diameter as I have big hands and the stock are quite narrow. Can u suggest anything?
A shopper on May 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The Pro Grip has more room that the stock grip. I wear a medium size glove.
Will these fit a ninja 300?
Miguel I on Apr 16, 2016
Would these pro grips fit a 2007 Suzuki gxsr?! Thanks in advance!!
A shopper on Mar 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, no trimming needed. Have super glue on standby as the rubber stopper for your handle bar end might come loose
I have a 2000 BMW R1100RT with heated grips. I need new grips to go over the heated bar. Will this product work with heat being applied to the bar under them?
A shopper on Oct 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: They will. I use them over heat demons.
Heater grips are OK but are like holding a hot cup of coffee. They're not going to do anything for the back of your hands or pinkie and thumb tips/edges.
Beast bang for your buck, and by far most effective product I have found are Cortech scarab gloves.
I commute 45 miles as lo into the 30's.
Do they come in pairs?
jose d on Aug 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they come in pairs. Excellent set of grips.
Anyone know if this grip offered in the green color is the same or close to the same shade of green as the kawi green? I have an 07 zx6r. From the looks in the picture it doesn't look the same :(
Jordan C on Jan 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It looks pretty much the sane color. i installed them on my black Ninja 1000 ans look great
Does anyone know if these will fit 2001 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R? The site says it will but I just want to know from another rider.
Nelson E on Apr 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: They fit my '06 Ninja 500R. Your throttle tubes are a direct replacement for mine, so you should be 100% Good to Go!
