Pit Bull Rear Stand Triumph Bonneville

The Pit Bull Bonneville Rear Stand was developed to address the needs of bikes with low pipes that prevent our traditional standard rear stand from accessing the swingarm. This stand addresses the needs of bikes like the Triumph Bonneville, Triumph Thruxton, Harley Sportster, Norton Commando, and other models with similar needs from a rear stand.

Both removable handle and non-removable handle measures 12" inches.

Extended handle measures 15" inches.

NOTE: Norton Commando owners who do NOT want to install spools on their rear shock bolts could use this stand as an alternative.

Nicely built and works well I bought this for my 2012 Triumph Bonneville SE. It's nicely built and works well. June 1, 2015
Does the trick! Overall nice stand. Pitbull always makes a stable, nicely constructed stand. This one is meant for bikes with low pipes. It is still a little difficult to get to the swing arm, but I suspect that is more the motorcycle than the stand. May 26, 2015
Perfect fit and very sturdy Purchased for use on a 2014 Thruxton. This rear stand is very sturdy and fits the bike perfectly. The removable handle is highly recommended. I use a block of wood under the kickstand to level out the bike which allows for a nice, even lift. Fast, free shipping seals the deal. April 27, 2015
Great stand, quick and easy assembly/disassembly Works as advertised, the fit is a little tricky for my bike due to the fact that the license plate frame on the back along with the subframe holding it all together with the tail light comes really close to the handle. Remove the plate holder prior to doing this if you own a CTX like mine. I had to use my body weight against the rear of the CTX to push it into a neutral balance position and then carefully push the handle of the pitbull down (praying that nothing slips since I have no helpers). This should make my future maintenance cycles considerably easier, as it was having the rear of the bike up in the air was a lot easier on the knees and back. The nuts on the stand pegs have a wrench type socket that it seats inside of, while useful it can get in the way if you have to move the peg outward and still need to tighten it. Thanks for the gear RevZilla, i'll be back for more soonish, I have to empty that wish list out. ;) This product is extremely sturdy and will last years. (I Brought out some Profoto studio gear to light the bike for the shot) March 23, 2015
Easy to use and Very sturdy Although more money than I wanted to spend, the Pit Bull stand works as advertised. It makes working and detailing my bike a cinch. November 24, 2014
Works Perfect - Very Stable Having purchased a brand new Triumph Bonneville back in August I did not want to bugger it up with a center stand so I got the Pit Bull instead. This was all new to me so I was apprehensive the first time I used it to adjust the chain tension. Now I have used it a number of times and that fear is gone. I could not give this product a better recommendation! November 24, 2014
Works as advertised The stand is very easy to set up out of the box. Definitely watch the videos on how to use the stand. It's a bit tricky to use by one person, balancing the bike with your left hand, and lifting the bike on the stand with your right hand. Maybe it gets easier after a few times, but it would be a lot easier with a second pair of hands. September 29, 2014
A solid stand from a reputable name. I first looked at Pit Bull because a buddy of mine suggested it when I first got my bike. I am glad I chose it because it feels sturdy and is easy to use. Just read the positioning tips and it's safe. July 21, 2014

James H: Pitbull recommends the bonneville stand for the CTX700D due to the way the swingarm and tailpipe are configured. I need a way to easily and quickly lube the chain and work on various other parts of my bike that are not easy to do without one, it's not impossible to do by any means but this stand will help facilitate a lot of future work on my bike. A shopper asked: I have a '13 Triumph Scram. which rear stand fits? Apr 3, 2014

Morgan L: Yes, it should fit just fine. I have a Thruxton, and that's the same rear swing-arm. I have no fitment issues, and you won't even have the same potential exhaust clearance issues on your Scrambler.

This is a well-built stand. It was expensive for a paddock stand, but the fit and quality are excellent.

David H. D: I went to the Pit Bull website and did the talk to a live agent. I asked if the standard stand would fit a 2013 YAMAHA V STAR 250. They responded with order the Triumph Bonneville stand. So I did and it fits perfect. I would contact Pit Bull but buy it from Revzilla for the free shipping. Good Luck. Apr 5, 2014

Jeffrey T asked: I have a 2013 Triumph Scrambler. I need to know which rear stand fits my bike? Apr 3, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
Matthew G: I believe that a Scrambler is the same frame as a bonneville with a few differences in suspension and well exhaust obviously, but since you have high pipes, you don't necessarily need the bonneville specific stand since it was designed to clear the exhaust without having to unmount it. Regardless, it's a terrific stand and will work just fine for you. May 6, 2014

A shopper asked: I notice the spoke wheel Bonneville is pictured for this product. Is this product compatible with the mag wheel Bonneville? Aug 17, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Mannie B: Yes, I have a mag wheeled Bonneville and the stand works perfectly. The stand fits between the swingarm and exhaust and lifts from the swingarm. It is a very well built and sturdy stand. While it is more pricey than other stands out there, you are getting a high quality product that will last you a lifetime and beyond. Aug 17, 2014

David H. D: I don't ride a Bonneville. The stand is built this way to fit between the exhaust and the swing arm. If the photo of the stand in use was angled the other way it would be clear why they build it this way. The wheel should not make a differance, only the exhaust. Call Pit Bull and ask to be sure. Merrill O: Yes. I been using it for a year to work on and clean -- great for cleaning and lubing chain -- and I kept the bike on the stand for the whole miserable winter we had in New York last year. Study, easy to use, just need to adjust width to fit the width of your swing arms. Aug 18, 2014

Merrill O: Yes, I've been using it for a year to work on and clean my bike. It's great for cleaning and lubing chain. I left the bike on the stand all last winter with no problem. You just adjust the stand to fit the width of your swing arms. Aug 18, 2014

Edgar F: Yes, it works on the mag wheel Bonneville. Also I suggest getting the extended handle to make lifting the bike a little easier. Aug 17, 2014

K C: I have spoke wheels, but since it holds up the swing arm there won't be any difference for the mag wheels. Aug 17, 2014

A shopper asked: Is this a spool or non spool model? Oct 27, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Bernard D: Non-spool. 2 adjustable L-shaped brackets fit up under each swing arm. The bottom of the L is made up of a large cylindrical piece for full engagement while rotating the stand. The vertical part of the L is a flat, thin piece that fits comfortably in the small space between the swing arms and mufflers (I'm using this on a '13 Thruxton with stock mufflers). Oct 27, 2013

Timothy D: This is a non spool model as is. It would be possible to custom mount spools on a Triumph twin and purchase Pit Bull spool stand bits and use them on this stand, but I would ask Pit Bull to be sure for any specific application. This is a great stand and I have had no problems out of it. Great quality. Oct 27, 2013
