Pirelli Angel GT Front Tires

Pirelli débuted the new Angel GT Tires on Basque soil in Bilbao, Spain accompanying the newest edition of the Multistrada 1200 S Granturismo. The new Angel GT Sport Touring tire will be standard equipment on the latest version of the Borgo Panigale model.

The Angel GT boasts 15 percent more mileage than the Pirelli Angel ST without sacrificing performance. Pirelli has labeled this as “Performance Mileage."  The primary design was to provide regular wear and excellent water drainage guaranteed by both the front tires and by the new groove design on the rear. Pirelli is using a dual blend compound that allows for high mileage in the center with a higher percentage of silica on the sides offering maximum performance, even in wet conditions.

In the end, the Pirelli Angel GT is a great option for long distance riders with a fully loaded bike, or for those who are looking to optimize performance on their short daily getaways. From sport bikes to touring and everything in between the Angel GT will not disappoint.

Features:

  • (W)-rated for speeds of 168+ mph
  • Ideal for sport riders looking for increased mileage without sacrificing grip and traction
  • Extended Mileage Sport (EMS) tires provide best-in-class for mileage and grip
  • Rear tires feature new Bi-compound formula improves cornering traction
  • Improved wet grip
  • Tubeless

so far this has been best tire I have had on my R1100RT My BMW R1100rt handles like a dream with the Pirrelli Angel ST March 30, 2015
1250 miles in 4 days, no issues Purchased the tires at the recommendation of a fellow rider. The day after they were installed, I went on a 4 day ride to Big Bend national park. In those 4 days I rode through mist, rain, mud, fog, hot and cold roads, and then a final ride on I-10 with an average speed of 85+ MPH and I can say never once did I feel these tires give way. After the first day, I lost all my hesitation of them, and ran with full confidence. I would highly recommend these tires to whoever is looking for a good sport tour. March 30, 2015
Amazing!! Bought this tire because a buddy told me it was amazing. He wasn't lying great tire and i'll be buying these til they stop making them.. March 21, 2015
Great tires, great grip on the curves Great tires, great grip on the curves and leans. The wear is fair for a performance tire. The cheap brands last longer but they will never perform like these. Fair price for the brand and confidence booster. March 16, 2015
Angel GT what a wonderful tyre!! I set this tire to my Old BMW R1150R Rockster. My previous tire is Dunlop Roadmax 1st generation. Angel GT gave me a reliable traction with comfort riding better than roadmax. I recommand this tire for my club member, March 10, 2015
Excellent... Shout out to Revzilla for getting me my tires quick. I got both tires for less than I'd pay for one in the store. Definitely the way to go and would recommend to anyone. March 9, 2015
Looking forward to experiencing the great performance of this tire Great products, great selection, great pricing and free shipping! Fast delivery and a recent DOT date on the tire means its fresh! Thanks Revzilla! February 9, 2015
The product is one of the highest rated so I am very excited to get the tires put on. Ohio is burried in snow so I have yet to use them! I really enjoy the comparison videos that are offered on the web site, it really helped me on my decision making process. February 2, 2015

Lloyd F: Great tire. Bike road like it was brand new. Very smooth and great grip. Was replacement for a Micheline and when time comes to replace these will replace again with another Pirelli Angel GT. Apr 4, 2015
Devin N: more longevity with the sportiness I need. Mar 26, 2015
Peter R: If I didn't buy new tires my local fellow riders may have lynched me. I had Angel GTs on my previous bike last summer before someone helpfully hit me and it was written off, and they were amazingly nice tires for the price. Mar 17, 2015
Richard H: Recommendation from another rider who uses this tire. Said they are great. Mar 7, 2015
Joe S: Great tires--hold the road well and wear well. Mar 4, 2015
Christopher S: Love my Pirelli Angel GT tire. Nice ride, sticks to the road well. Feb 16, 2015
C S: positive reviews Feb 15, 2015
Donald Y: Riding a SV650k5, based on experience from BT-023, this tire should serve the purpose for 95% highway commute and 5% beginner trackday. I go to trackdays to get "speeding" out of my system and cornering without risk of cars or natural road debris - like they say, I'd rather spend $200 on a trackday than $350 on a speeding ticket. Jan 29, 2015
curtis l: In stock, Free Shipping, TeamZilla Cash. Thank You. Jan 21, 2015
Steven B: Replacing a set of PR3's. Hope to get better life with these. Jan 2, 2015
aaron F: I have this same tire in the rear and it kicks a** Dec 12, 2014
joanne p: fits motorcycle Dec 1, 2014
Matthew N: These tires stick like glue and wear very well. This will be my third Angel GT front tire on my Concours 1400. After a day on the track I had no chicken strips on the front or rear tires and no slippage whatsoever. Fantastic grip even at the extremes. Nov 16, 2014
Mike V: Ducati Monster 696 will only take Pirelli Angel tires according to MOM. Nov 12, 2014
Don W: Reviews, plus Pirelli is a well know and trusted name. Good price and they are going to look AWESOME! on my ST1300! Nov 1, 2014
Jesse S: Its Simple, riding on this tire give me total security on the dry or wet pavement hands down. " Sep 22, 2014
Ryan K: I do more touring style riding rather then track riding Jul 22, 2014
Ian V: This will be my third set of Angel GT's (three different bikes). Awesome tires all around. Grip is good, lifespan is good, wet traction is good, and price is good. There's really nothing to complain about. The tires have seen 2-up, commuting, and mid-level track day duty without any issues. First set went on an Aprilia Futura and I currently have a set on my 919 and my Ninja 650. Jul 22, 2014
Damian Martin R: Seems to offer the best balance for grip and duration. Jul 13, 2014
Phil P: Proven experience with the same model on the rear, not to mention a better value over the PR4 GT. Jun 24, 2014
Richard G: Longivity on top of first class performance Jun 21, 2014
Bruce R: To replace the current tire on a BMW Sport Touring bike. Since I already know these are great tires I saw no need to experiment
with something different. These tires have excellent grip - wet or dry, very good feel at all times, even when it is cold and are
long wearing, especially for a tire with this much traction.
Jun 17, 2014
CANH V: The lowest price compared with others on internet. May 22, 2014
G E: You guys recommended the rear tire when I replaced my metzler, dur for the front now. May 21, 2014

A R: I have used Metzeler Z6, Dunlop Road Smart, Michelin PR3, and Pirelli Angel ST on my Sport Touring Motorcycle...the Pirelli Angel ST was by far the most consistent throughout its 6K Miles and always stable as the Rock of Gibraltar when hanging off in swervery. Based on my experience with the Pirelli Angel ST several of my Riding Buddies switched to Pirelli Angel GT and all were glad they did. Now it's my turn to ride on Pirelli Angel GT Tires!!! Mar 27, 2014
Richard S: Had excellent customer reviews. Trust the Pirelli brand. Mar 12, 2014

Steven Y: I'm running the Pirelli Diablo's now and need a longer mileage tire since i do a lot of commuting during the week and hard canyon riding on the weekends. Sep 17, 2013
A shopper asked: where's the arrow that indicates direction of rotation on the front tire? Oct 20, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Matthew N: It's on the sidewall. It isn't really clear you have to look closely for it. The arrows of the tread should be pointing towards the back of the bike if you are looking at the top of the tire when mounted. Oct 20, 2014
Reply to Matthew Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Dusty W: It should be either on the sidewall or on the very edge of the tire close to the sidewall if i remember correctly its very easy to overlook on these as well but a great tire!
