OEM Replacement Visor, no need for improvement!
Nolan definitely knows how to make a great helmet visor. The optical quality is excellent with no distortion at all. True horizontal 180 degree field of view.

Installing the visor was literally a "snap!" I especially like the metallic coating on the visor that simulates a one-way mirror..

Excellent shield
I bought this shield as a replacement for my original clear one. It was very easy to install on the helmet. I decided to get the silver reflector version. It was a great choice for the bright Florida sun. Used with the green sun visor it really makes a difference compared to the original clear one. Less eye strain and fatigue. Also, no problem at night, plenty of visibility.

Yup, its a replacement face shield......
Exact same as the one the came with it. But if you go for the blue mirror tint, word of warning, it is not as dark as you might expect. Fairly light when compared to most mirrored shields.

Direct swap, easier on the eyes
I changed out the clear face shield for a Metallic Silver one in about five minutes. The Pin lock insert transfered as easily from the stock shield as the shield itself installed on my N43E. My eldest son thinks it looks like a HALO helmet now (a positive opinion from him). Noise and airflow are not noticable different, glare is greatly reduced though. My only complaint is the price point for a replacement shield. Although, Revilla had the lowest online price I could find, after having "value" brand modular helmets over the past decade, my reference point for price expectation is skewed to their price range. Overall completely satisfied.

the plastic is crystal clear
It is a replacement shield to a really great helmet. Purchased an extra with my helmet as there are no Nolan distributors in my area. i thought the price was reasonable epecially since the shipping was free with the helmet.

Good Shield
This shield is not too dark to use even in low light conditions. With the helmets built in visor it is just right in bright sun.

It's difficult to see, but these face shields actually do have the pinlock system and will take the pinlock inserts. Nolan does not use the term pinlock in their descriptors, but it is the same system as applied to other face shields.

They do sell it, but just be aware that it does not look exactly like the OEM ones that came with the helmet, even though they are made by Nolan. This is because the hardware is designed to fit other similar helmet models.2 weeks, 5 days ago

Interested in one of these shields to help with daytime riding. Interested to know if they come with or have the pin lock pins to add a pin lock shield. Also are the metallic shields good for daytime use? Do they block sunlight similar to a smoke shield. It was difficult to tell from the photos.
