It is a replacement shield to a really great helmet. Purchased an extra with my helmet as there are no Nolan distributors in my area. i thought the price was reasonable epecially since the shipping was free with the helmet.

This shield is not too dark to use even in low light conditions. With the helmets built in visor it is just right in bright sun.

The shield arrived quickly and in good shape. It seems pretty sturdy. I rode with it yesterday and it was dark enough that I didn't necessarily need sunglasses. I did wear my shades anyway and the combination were not too dark. Changing out the shield on the N43 is about as easy as it gets.

It's difficult to see, but these face shields actually do have the pinlock system and will take the pinlock inserts. Nolan does not use the term pinlock in their descriptors, but it is the same system as applied to other face shields.

Interested in one of these shields to help with daytime riding. Interested to know if they come with or have the pin lock pins to add a pin lock shield. Also are the metallic shields good for daytime use? Do they block sunlight similar to a smoke shield. It was difficult to tell from the photos.
