Nolan N43E Helmet
Great features for this helmet
I have another Nolan and like it very much. I saw this on sale and wanted it as a spare and for passenger. The quality is great. I received excellent speedy service from Revzilla.

On sale close out this was a steal.
Sizing chart was very helpful, thus I bought a L, not an XL. Fits snug, but after getting used to it, it is better than the XL I used to buy. The helmet has the best field of vision of any I have ever owned. The face shield filters enough UV rays so there is no heat buildup, and there is plenty of room for glasses (sun or Rx). The best feature is the lack of wind noise. Without that constant distraction I have become a better rider. Drop down sun shade is OK, but nothing special. Overall I am extremely pleased and would have paid more if needed. Since this my 1st Nolan, I will probably be back for another.

Very comfortable fit
Great fit, nosier than expected, neck strap a little tight but still works on largest setting, like not having double D ring on strap

Just completed my 1st ride(Harley Softail Deluxe w/windshield) wearing the N43E. This is a great helmet. The fit, face shield & sun shield were better than expected. I found the wind noise to be minimal, & the side vision unrestricted. This helmet seems to be very well made, & the retention system on the chin strap is a great bonus.

Already have the trilogy with n-com. wanted a second Nolan I could put a sena on. Carefully cut a slot for the clamp and now connects to bikes bluetooth and other bikes. N-com was great for my gps and phone, but troublesome with bike's bluetooth and bike to bike.Newer model has more stops for visor rather than just up or down. Tried a B--- helmet but just not a Nolan. Cannot live without the Microlock connector. Do miss the peak visor of the old n-41. Shield is expensive but durable, clear and good uv protection. Liner comes out easily for washing. My 6th Nolan.

Get one before they're all gone!
So I must have looked at this helmet at least 50 times before I ordered it. Am I impressed?...it's a great fitting, protective and quality helmet but I have a few issues. The "clear" shield has a slight blue'ish color. It's noisy! It's kinda heavy and due to its shape its prone to tracking with the wind which leads to neck fatigue. Would I buy it again?... Yes, For the money it's great, I have multiple helmets for different conditions and this fits the nitche I was looking for. Aria and Shoei make sweet helmets but you could own three of these for the cost of one of them. As a note I have a Bilt roadster helmet of the same style. I gave the Bilt a try to see if I would like the open face style and ill never go back to a standard full face! I ride a Cafe Bonnie and the more wind this helmet is exposed to the more issues its prone to. If you're behind a fairing in a smooth pocket of air this helmet would be a 10 in my book.

Great steal on this helment
I purchased the Nolan 43E because of the insane discount RevZilla was advertising. I have heard a lot of great things about Nolan helmets, but they were always a bit over my budget. Because I needed the helmet for a 3-day motorcycle trip, I called RevZilla directly. They were very courteous and helped to ensure my helmet arrived in time for the trip, which it did.
When I got the helmet, my initial reaction was - great and simple packaging, durable product, but seemed somewhat too round to my liking. However, after trying it on the shape on the outside didn't matter one bit. This thing was one of the most comfortable helmets I have ever worn and it was very lightweight. And, I really liked the clasp used to secure the helmet (Euro style) as well as the drop-down visor.
While this was a 3/4 helmet, I was somewhat concerned how it would handle in the rain and wind. During my 3-day trip, there was rain and I felt like I was almost wearing a full helmet -- the Nolan does a great job of covering up the face and neck. From a wind standpoint, it did take a while to get used to this (more from a noise perspective). In some cases, it was very loud in the helmet during extreme wind, but I got used to it.
Ventilation is also great in this helmet. And, it was just the right fit that I could put in my ear-buds and fit my helmet over it.
Highly recommend the Nolan and the 43E, especially if you can get the discounted price!

Good for the price
This helmet is ok for the price, but the fit is less than perfect, had to cut out foam for my ears wich are normal size, but overall good helmet.
