Sturdy enough, but hard to adjust The straps seem reasonably durable, as does the plastic on the buckles and hooks, so I'm not really worried about them failing on me. BUT, they are really difficult to adjust quickly. It takes me a few minutes of futzing around if I want to adjust the bag after it's already mounted. July 29, 2012
Terrible Straps These straps are completely useless. They are very poorly designed and as such are extremely difficult to install. They do not tighten by easily pulling the excess strap. Instead, there is a lot of messing around trying to get them tight and then you are never able to get them as secure as you would like. May 14, 2012
Part for a quality tailbag The install is a snap - once you've gotten them adjusted properly. I had to get a spare set of these because I lost one. I was distracted once and didn't make sure a couple of them were fastened back on properly, so they came off. But when they're on properly, they're very secure and far better than bungees, and the bags they go with are very good quality. July 18, 2011
