Not super hot Nice vest, appealing to the eye but doesn't convey the heat I need on a cold winter day in Ohio. I think maybe if it got a size smaller I might of had better luck feeling the heat. It runs big. January 26, 2015
Fit is exactly eat I was hoping for Very impressed with the quality. Can not yet attest to the waterproof or the use of the heated feature. Have not had a chance to use it yet. But I'm sure it will be great as the quality is evident. 4 star as I have not verified the other features yet. August 18, 2014
Versatile and looks good off the bike! I bought this for the hubby who rides a Yamaha Bolt and he loves it. Fitted and long in the body for great coverage. He says its very toasty even at 50% setting. The vest is well made and heats up quickly. The only thing I'd change about it, is how the battery reads what temp setting you're at. The numbers are tiny 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% and I think they should light up from bottom to top rather than the other way around. Full lights should mean full heat right? Just my two bits. Otherwise he has no complaints. April 14, 2014
Good vest for the money I got the vest in January and I used it for the first time last weekend. It was sunny and mid-50's. Never even turned it on. It kept me very comfortable. I got out again today. Rode for a little over an hour. The temperature was 41 and complete overcast. Started with it at 50%, stopped after about 25 minutes and bumped it up to 75%. The vest kept me very comfortable and prevented me from losing my core heat. In fact, I stopped for gas and while I was filling up, I could feel it generate some serious heat. As for fit, it runs a little large. I'm 6' & 170 lbs and I got the medium, usually take large. One drawback is the location of the controller. It would be much more useful if the controller was located somewhere more accessible. I will probably end up getting the larger battery for the vest which puts the controller on a short wire which looks like it would be long enough to hang down below the bottom of my bike jacket. Overall, very happy with the purchase so far and as for dealing with Revzilla, what more can I say. They're great to deal with and plan to shop there for other bike gear. March 1, 2014
great product I get a little disturbed by reading all these review, are they fake, does the person know what they are talking about. Let say I have been riding rain or shine, 12 months a year, NW, SE and Central US. I have riden across the Northern US in Late Fall. So I have riden in every kind of weather. I have two battery vests, this product, while it is great it is not as warm as my other, but more comfortable, better fitting. I have ride at 8 degrees F with this under a quality winter riding jacket, riding pants, and heated gloves. On Med it will surfice for my 40 min ride and on Hi, it is warm and pleasent. I am looking at the gloves and wounder if they are as good as the vest, because my current gloves are hard wired and I want the freedom from the wires. But ther reviews are all over the place. If someone has used them, really used them, in cold weather, I would like to know the results. For those who ride at 40 and claim there hands are cold in the gloves, well, I where my summer gloves at 45, so that review is of no help. Bottom dollar, the vest works, but if you need a full winter jacket at 45, you will never find anything, short of a snowmobile suit, to keep you warm. January 29, 2014
Not a bad choice This was purchased on a low budget, to provide warmth while riding. For this price range, this vest is very nifty. It does a pretty good job of keeping your upper half warm. Although riding below freezing temps, 100% power is the only viable option to keep you warm and that kills the battery life. I'd say after a month, battery life operating at 100% (talking fully charged each and every time before rides) lasts about 45mins to an hour and a half. After that, there's some heat but not very much. Always keep that charger on you! January 27, 2014
Does what it is supposed to do. I received the vest yesterday and had a chance to try it out this morning. 27 degrees for my short ride to work here in Missoula, MT. Because this vest is battery powered I would recommend, for a short commute like mine, that you power it up a couple of minutes before you leave. It doesn't heat up as quickly as one powered by the bike. However, the convenience of not being tethered to the bike is significant. There are only 3 small heating elements in the vest. Two on the chest, one on the back. But, for my purposes it's great. I don't expect this piece to replace full-on heated gear for an extended trip in cold wet weather. But if you're looking to keep your core warm it's terrific. Coupled with heated grips it's just what I need. I go back and forth between medium and large in this type of gear and medium was just right. Tight enough to feel heat without being binding. It looks great off the bike and it is a very good layer even when it's not running on the battery. January 16, 2014
Keeps You Warm Excellent warming vest. I received the vest as a gift and as soon as I charged the battery I put it to the test. It instantly got warm. Can't wait to try it on the road. January 14, 2014

A shopper asked: I normally wear Medium in tee shirts and Large in jackets.
Should I get a large?

Eric L: I wear a medium in most shirts and jackets, occasionally a small if they run large (39" chest, 31" waist). The small is still kinda loose on me and this item needs to fit snugly to transfer the heat effectively. I'd recommend the medium because these run large. Jan 7, 2015

Tony R: Sounds like I am a similar size to you & I have a medium sized vest, which is a snug fit under my jacket. It is a great vest which I have worn in temperatures as low as -5C and still felt warm as toast! ?? Nov 1, 2014

A shopper asked: Does the charger take 220v input? Mar 25, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Ankur V: The charger I got with the vest lists AC100-240V 50/60 Hz as Input. Of course, it has the typical American NEMA plug so you'll need some kind of an adapter for other countries. Mar 25, 2014

Gregory P: Will not take 220v input direct. It should charge fine with the proper power adapter. Mar 25, 2014
