Michelin Pilot Street Radial Front Tires

The Michelin Pilot Street Radial brings the radial revolution to small and medium-size bikes!

Radial architecture that enables improved overall response and handling as well as unrivaled performance over the long term, compared with a same-size cross-ply tire. A 100% silica rubber compound that delivers the best wet grip in its category, for a safe, sporty ride. The Pilot Street Radial tires are derived directly from Michelin's radial Sport Touring ranges and features tread borrowed from the Michelin Pilot Road 2, giving the motorcycle an attractive, sporty appearance.

The Pilot Street Radial features a slightly sharper profile to ensure excellent driving precision under normal riding conditions and a steeper shoulder for steering accuracy when camber angle increases.

Features:

  • Optimized groove tread pattern
  • Tread pattern designed to minimize uneven wear and maximize mileage while enhancing wet weather performance
  • Variable groove width along the tread pattern
  • High silica content for increased wet grip without sacrificing tire life
  • Precision handling with high level of rider feedback
  • Superior longevity compared to a primary bias-ply competitor

Feel good even when its cold and wet
Bought these to replace the stock tires on my CBR250R and I am very glad I did. I have found these tires to grip very well in the wet, even in low temps which is great because I ride year round rain or shine.

Way better than stock
I slapped these on after 11k on my OEM tires. Wow, the difference is night and day. I'm able to confidently go into corners so much more now. The tires just feel planted.

I rode in the wet one day and they performed fine. Still ride with caution, but I trust these tires far more than my OEM ones.

Sticky and good feel on the road
Haven't had a chance to ride for too long, probably just 500 miles with these new tires. Right away I felt a better feeling of the road, more smooth than the Bias-ply tire it replaced. The handling in turns also seems better, smoother, which builds confidence. Its not just placebo effect, my dad rode my bike and he thought it also felt smoother. Great replacement tires for the GS500f.

Great commuter tire
You can get over 10k miles on these tires. As someone who commutes 25 miles in a straight line daily and only rides the canyons on the weekends I needed something with a bit more tread life. While these tires are good in the rain, they aren't quite as good as the pirelli dr2s. Though when I had the dr2s they flat spotted in 2k miles and wore down to the metal by 5k.

The grip on the pilot streets isn't great, but its good enough. You can feel the tire search for grip on tar snakes an painted lines. I still have confidence to rub off the chicken strips in the canyons and keep up with friends on larger bikes in the tighter sections.

This is a great tire for a long tread life and OK grip.

Huge difference over bias ply tires on my Ninja 500R
It was night and day replacing the old Shinko bias ply tires that were on my Ninja 500R.

I've ridden through the rain numerous times on these tires, and felt no slippage. I've put about a thousand miles on them so far, and the tread looks great.

Good grip, good service, great tire.
I already love my new Michelin tires; they grip the wet Seattle pavement very well and lost their new, slippery film quickly (I'd say within the first 50 miles). They're an all around good tire, with good walls for leaning and a sturdy feel to them.

Also, RevZilla shipped them very quickly and they arrived in top notch condition. Thanks!

Originally ran the diablo rosso IIs, but I only got 3,000 miles out of them. Hoping to find a tire that has good traction and also will have a longer life.
