Good tire
The City Grip is a good tire that does everything well. I can't tell if it is any better than the Pirelli GTS or Diablo that I have previously used, in terms of traction on wet and dry, but it is better in terms of smoothness and thread pattern. The Diablo and GTS have a wavy center line. This appears to cause front wheel/handlebar wobble at certain speeds around 40 mph. Switching to a tire like the City Grip that has a continuous center patch cures for many who did that on the same bike as mine (Vectrix VX-1 electric maxi scooter). I can't tell if the ride and traction and cornering are any different on the Michelin vs. the Pirelli, to be honest. But the front wheel wobble was greately reduced in my case too. Service from Revzilla is top-notch as always and the price reasonable.

Excellent tire and excellent Revzilla service.
I have tried a lot of tires in my riding history and this tire ranks up there as one of the best. Great road feel. Sticky in the curves and wears well. I commute daily to work on an MP3 500 and this is the best tire I have found for this job. I am also a moderator on the Modernvespa forum and most of the people that report on this tire there have nothing but positive things to say.

The City Grips transformed my Scarabeo 200.
The City Grips are a great tire. living in LA have yet to experience their wet traction, but on dry roads that are superb. Quick to turn in, and confidence inspiring in the curves, they give a whole new dimension to my scooter. roar on!

Good tire
The Michelin City Grip tire rides smooth and has adequate grip and is reported to last longer than the IRC that came on my PCX150. There was a slight loss in fuel efficiency versus the worn out IRC but that may be normal with any new tire. All of these modern general use street tires have a wide temperature range and continue to stick well in rain and cold. Thanks Revzilla and Michelin for having the correct size for my bike.

Changed my grom!
It may not be fair to compare them to the stock Vee tires but these city grips are in a whole different league. Made the bike much smoother and a lot more stable on both the straights and corners.

They have become my friends.
Putting these tires on reminded me that no matter how good the new tire is, it may seem so different that its difficult to get comfortable. I could not get past how different they felt on my Vespa GTS 300 compared to the Pirelli oem tires. Another commenter complained that they turned in quicker than his Pirellis, and I agree that they do lean easily BUT it is entirely a matter of getting accustomed to it, and it is in no way a fault or a problem.

What could be a problem is that on a GTS they are prone to the dreaded front end wobble thing. Best solution is too add heavier bar ends and don't let go of the bars!!

I did not expect the CGs to have good traction because they feel so hard and stiff, and are high mileage rated. But over time I have found that they do have decent traction, and are well behaved in the wet, too. I cannot claim that I trust them like I trusted the Pirellis, but I feel confident with them in all-season riding.

Overall, I feel that they are a good tire, and if you don't have front end wobble, maybe they are even better than that. I don't know how Michelin is able to combine the durability and performance that they do in the City Grips, but it shows that they really do know tire making.

Smooth ride. Responsive. A little skittish at highway speeds. Max inflation is only 33 psi.
Said it all in the summary. It's on the front of a trike. Got caught in a moderate rain and had no problems at 60 mph, but tire is still new. Will not know about tread life til next year.

won't buy another
After 30,000 miles of using Pirelli Diablos on my 500 Scarabeo I thought I'd try one of these. The turn in transision gives you that falling over feeling. I haven't had it on long enough to know what kind of milage it gets and may not keep it on long enough to find out before replacing it with another Diablo

Michelin City Grip Scooter Tires
I put a pair on my 2014 Honda Forza and "WOW" what a difference from the factory Dunlop's, I can almost lay it down in the corners, and it sticks to the pavement like it's glued to it (and the price - from Revzilla - was definitely "RIGHT"). But the thing that amazed me the most was how fast they were delivered, seems I had hardly finished clicking my order, and the tires were at my front door - "GREAT JOB" Revzilla, keep up the good work... My bike rear tire specs says my tire is 80/90-14MC 40P. I wanna ask if this product would fit in my rim and in my bike?
A shopper on Oct 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You have to specify which size tire you want, when you are ordering. There are drop down boxes that let you choose.
I have a 2012 Kymco GTI300. The stock front tire is a 110/70-16. I am going to put new city grips on it. I want to increase the front tire size to a 120/70-16. Will I have any problems going to a bigger tire on the front? I'm have a 140/70-16 on the back, and will keep it the same.
A shopper on Sep 19, 2013
BEST ANSWER: We would recommend sticking with the stock tire size. You may have fender clearance issues if you increase the size of your front tire.
