Don't waste your money
Length is too short and carabiner is massive. The nylon strap over the cable is too wide to fit through the D ring of helmet. The carabiner is all metal with no protective coating . Could be hard on paint and metal. This product would be great say for securing your ladders to a roof rack. For the above solution try 6' of 3/16 ss cable, looped at the ends and crimped, taped and a padlock. It will stop your gear from growing legs

good but limited
This is a good product and I would buy it again but by the time you connect it to your bike it ends up being shorter than you think and the carabiner is also bigger than you think. For me it works just fine to lock my helmet to the bike but there is no way I could slide it through the sleeve of my jacket to secure my jacket to the bike. I thought I would be able to fold it or roll it up to stick in my storage compartment but the carabiner is so big that I really can't fit it in. Also keep in mind that the carabiner is a number lock so you will need to make sure you can see it with something if you return to your bike after dark and need to unlock you helmet. Overall it is quite sturdy and a good design, it just ends up being shorter and bigger than you think from the pics.

I was looking forward to using this but upon receiving it, the carabiner successfully opened. But, when i shut it, the combination numbers wouldn't spin to let me lock it - which is the main reason i bought it. Very disappointed. I emailed the manufacturer directly asking them what the problem might be but heard nothing back.
Revzilla customer service, as always, was awesome and refunded my money. I may have received a defective lock, but the bad experience has put me off on trying LockStrap products in the future.
I ended up buying a Kryptonite cable and a Master Lock.

Mine wouldn't open when I received it. I had to use a vise to bend it open and file it down to get it to work. It is too short to be much use for anything. I would have returned it, but I thought I needed something for a imminent trip. Buy a cheap, thin cable lock instead.

Perfect For My Needs
Great product! It is exactly what I was looking for. It is long enough where I can lock both my helmet and jacket (and I am confident I can fit another jacket). It is small enough to fit under the passenger seat of my CBR250R along with both of my Xena disc locks. It is really easy to use and is pretty heavy duty for a smaller, simpler style security product.
My only complaints would be (1) it only has three security dials (wish it had at least four), and (2) the carabiner has no rubber or protective cover feature so you have to be extremely careful to prevent scratching to your bike. The second reason is the main reason why I gave this a 4/5 rather than a 5/5.
Having said that, I still highly recommend this.

I keep it in my saddle bags and it does come in handy. Trouble is, it's bulky and fairly short. I find it impossible to get it through my crash bar and helmet and then locking it without my helmet tipping over.

Peace of Mind
Yes, that is what comes to mind. No longer having to carry the helmet into every venue I ride to. Just strap it in with this lock strap and never think about your helmet being stolen while you shop. Now don't get me wrong, if a thief really want's something he/she will find away to obtain it. A pair of scissors might have a real hard time cutting through this strap, but I am not sure that a large wire cutter won't. But then again, how many would be walking around with large wire cutters.
