Looks great This pipe is an excellent addition to my bike. It looks great, sounds good, easy install, and weighs less than the stock pipe. I ordered on Sunday night and was on my door step Wednesday. May 13, 2013
Bang for your buck Got this because it was at least $100 cheaper than the other slip-ons and I have to say I'm happy I did. Shipped out fast, really easy to install and sounds great. The only reason i didn't rate durability higher is because I haven't had it long enough to say. Highly recommend if you don't want to pay around $350+ on a slip-on. May 1, 2013
TOO loud without baffle, very nice with baffle in. This is my first bike and my first install of a slip-on. Though some of the bolts on the stock exhaust were a pain to get off, installing the slip-on itself was very easy. I did not realize just how powerful the pressure coming out of the exhaust is, so word of advice, DO NOT simply tighten the baffle bolt by hand to go for a short ride and test the sound, it WILL shoot out (though to most, it's a no brainer, tighten all bolts before taking a ride). As far as sound, if you've seen any youtube videos, it sounds exactly like it does in the video without baffle except louder (especially when you're sitting on the bike yourself). Without the baffle, it is obnoxiously loud, and although a lot deeper and better sound at idle, once you go higher on the RPMs, it sounds ugly (to me) it doesn't have that high-pitched, racing type of sound, it just screams at you with an ugly voice. BUT, put the baffle in, and it's still deeper and louder than stock, but more importantly, sounds A LOT better when you rev it. For durability, I've only had this about a month, so I wouldn't know, but everything's great so far. I did not notice ANY change in performance, whether due to weight loss or better air flow (which I hear you only get with a full system, not a slip on). This may also be due to the fact that my weight changes constantly (I use it to commute to work and class, carrying varying loads of weight in my backpack). I mainly got this for the sound, and it delivered! One other thing. I installed this without a gasket, and I'm not positive it needs one, the fit is pretty tight, so I don't think it would, but like I said, this is my first bike and first slip-on, I can't comment on the difference between with/without gasket if I've never tried one of them. But, it doesn't seem like I have any problems. Overall GREAT slip-on for the price, the youtube videos had me convinced that I'll be riding without a baffle because it sounded ugly with the baffle in (in videos), but the video does not do it justice, it exceeded my expectations April 29, 2013
good exhaust for the money If your looking to make your ninja sound and look better this is the most cost effective way. Not really any power gains but wortg the money for sound and looks. April 29, 2013
worth the money Looks great, sounds great, but too loud without the baffle and too quiet with it in. I am hoping with the baffle it will get louder over time. April 24, 2013
Nice deep tone The exhaust was easy to install as long as you have the right tools. I love the sound it makes without the baffle installed. You can ride with the baffle in but I prefer riding without the baffle for the deep tone this little exhaust makes! April 23, 2013
Great price, cheaper than all other exhausts Great price, cheaper than all other exhausts, great sound April 6, 2013
This product is top quality This slip on has a very nice top quality finish if you are looking for an affordable replacement for your stock can. There's a huge reduction in weight and beautiful deep sound both on low and high rpm although I'm not sure if it adds any hp to your bike. But for a better look and sound, I'd buy this again...
