Great inexpensive protector.
Bought two of these for my daughter and I for our first track day. Were comfortable and put mine right in the pocket of a set of leathers that I bought at the track. As our experience and speeds increase we'll buy more track oriented and larger protectors but will definitely keep these in our street riding gear.

Small patch of real estate, but better than nothing.
I needed a back protector for my XL BUELL Jacket and it was a little tricky finding one for the size I need. The jacket's pocket is pretty small and I almost didn't think it was going to fit. I eventually had to look at Women's sizing for the dimensions I needed.

After making a few careful measurements I ordered up this one based on the technology used in the product and the dimensions I needed.

At any rate, its a nicely crafted piece of protection and the only issue I have is I wish my pocket was bigger to accommodate a larger size for piece of mind.

Knox Women's TP2 Advance X CE Back Protector
Perfect fit in my size 36 Women's Rev'it Leather Jacket. I like the CE Protection and it's not too cumbersome either. It adds a small hump compared to the flat standard foam that came with the jacket, however the level of protection is worth it and it's not super noticeable.

Awesome little back protector!
Great little back protector. Fit in my jacket perfectly. Offeres much more protection than the simple sheet of foam that was there to begin with.

It's a tight fit, but you can actually keep both backprotectors in the jacket for added safety.

Really enjoy using this protector!

Nice
Appears as advertised. Pretty comfortable in place. Took a little scrunching to get it into the pocket in the jacket. Fits perfectly and I will assume it works perfectly :)

Protection You Hope You Never Need
I'm not a lady, but I do wear size XS Rev'It! Jackets and in most cases that means I need the slightly smaller Ladies version of the TP2 in order to fit.

Without much expense in terms of money, comfort, or mobility, the TP2 adds a great deal of protection over stock EVA foam protectors and that protection brings confidence with it. I hope I never need to personally attest to the protective benefits, but I ride more confidently knowing I have them.

Much better than standard protector
Fits well, just a bit snug in the pocket, of a Lady's Rev'It Airwave. Once on, you can't really feel the difference, although the new pad has no ventilation, so it does slightly reduce airflow. Looks a lot more protective than the swiss cheese protector that came with the jacket, though.

I think it will fit in the rear pocket of her Alpine * jacket.

I needed an upgrade for my REV'IT Turbine jacket (size 36 women's) and found this as one of the few women size specific back protectors.

I was actually interested in d30 or something from SAS-TEC, but thought that this KNOX armor would be the only option for my size. Getting it in the pocket was easy, and there's actually a little bit of room to spare.

Good to know, so maybe I can upgrade to something more elite in the future. Overall, it's very good for the price. ;D

How thick is this?
Kenneth S on Aug 19, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It's a little thicker and more rigid than the free foam one that comes in most riding jackets. I keep mine in my leathers because it offers better protection. It took a bit to get used to the stiffness, but I've done long distance rides (700+ miles) with it in and doesn't bother my back too much anymore. The thickest part is maybe 3/4inch compared to the quarter of an inch standard foam in jackets. It's stiffer and you will feel that, but I think the protection is worthwhile.
The Knox website does not list these back protectors as women's or men's, but rather as a single item "Knox Advance X Part Back Protector" in various sizes. Is this the size "Part 64" ?
A shopper on Jan 8, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The Knox Women's TP2 Advance X CE Back Protector is Part Number 64 on the Knox website.
Do you have dimensions on this piece?
A shopper on Sep 26, 2011
BEST ANSWER: It measures 14.5" in length and 10" in width.
