Love this jacket! I bought this locally over a year ago when I got my new scooter. There is a little over-lap in sizes at xl and diva 1 so went with the larger one since I often wear a hoody also. It's plenty warm (mild winters here but raw and wet), and without the liner fine for an Oregon coast cool summer. On a rare hot day I can see the need for a mesh jacket but that happens so rarely here it doesn't matter. Love the fit. I was expecting to get myself a small mens jacket but loved the cut of this jacket and the rear buckle adjustments. I did have a problem with the zipper opening from the bottom within the first month of use so I returned it to the vender who replaced it free and I have not had that issue since. Love the safety features.. the reflective piping and the armor elbows, shoulders and spine protector. It's much more relaxing to ride when you know you have protection basics covered. Love this jacket Since I'm 5'7" but have a small frame, it's hard for me to find a jacket with a comfortable and appropriate sleeve length, but this jacket fits perfect. The gray color doesn't get too hot in the direct summer sun and the buckles make it easy to adjust the size to your body. The zippers at the bottom keep opening up if I don't make sure the bottom pieces are tightly joined together. June 4, 2013
This jacket has average features for the price. Jacket designers should take into account that women are built with shoulders and waistline being similar in size. Although this jacket is good, it still has the wide shoulders and narrow waist like a man's jacket. May 27, 2013
Positive first impression Purchased for my wife, currently riding passenger with the goal of her own bike. Springtime riding in Alaska can be chilly,but this jacket has kept her comfortable. Haven't had the chance to check out the airflow. Stylish and comfortable, with a good protective feel is how she describes it. May 20, 2013
Another great Joe Rocket product. We bought this jacket in black/pink for my wife. All in all, it’s a really nice fitting jacket. We used the measuring chart to choose her size and it still fits a little snug, but it’s not too bad. The jacket is a little short, but most jackets are this way unless you get a tall size. This is a nice bang for buck and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase it again. May 13, 2013

Just my style--not too flashy Great jacket! I bought the silver/white one because the other colors were too dark, even with the color pop. I like how you can adjust it for a custom fit. Since I'm tall and have long arms, the sleeves on it work perfectly for me and the armor isn't out of place. If it gets hot, I can remove the liner too. March 25, 2013

There are no photos of the back of this jacket and I am therefore curious about the shape and length on the back. Does the jacket have a "v" shape in the back to keep you covered when you are on a sportbike, or is it straight across like the men's version of this jacket which has belt loops?

Answer: 
The Joe Rocket Women's Atomic 4.0 Jacket does come to a 'V' in the back, so it will provide coverage when in riding position. The image provided is of a medium jacket, though she would normally take a small in Joe Rocket. In the proper size the 'V' would be slightly higher.

It comes down in kind of a U shape and covers most of the butt- at least on me- I'm 5'2".
That was one design feature I particularly like- I had expected most women's to be high cut across the back.

Yes, this jacket comes with shoulder and elbow armor. You are welcome to make a return for 100% back to your card as long as the product is still in new condition! The only thing you are responsible for is the shipping cost back to us.

Answer: 
Yes the jacket comes with the armor in the shoulder and elbows. If for some reason it is shipped to you without, let customer service know and they will get it taken care of and the armor will be sent to you. It happened to us, factory missed putting armor in jacket and customer service took prompt care and had them sent to us.

According to their site you have 30 days.

Yes- it comes with elboy, shoulder and spine protection already in.
You'd have to check with Revzilla's return policy on the other question.
If you have a shop nearby that carries the product you could check your size there.
