good shoe, but lacking
Right off the bat, these shoes are great. They have nice features in terms of abrasion and impact protection to the foot. But as you go up towards the ankle, this shoe leaves much to be desired. This is absolutely a low shoe, but with small peaks that barely cover the ankle bone.
I have a pretty wide, and flat foot. I wear a 13 or 14 in running shoes (14 Merrell Trail Glove- and are still a bit narrow), so I ordered a 13 in these. The length is good, and the foot bed is nice and wide. I find that the heel area is a bit too large and doesn't fit snugly at all after putting them on. After the break in period, and the shoe flexes a bit more, I'm sure this will be less noticeable.
Going from a military boot to a riding shoe with a shift pad, I noticed myself fishing for the shifter a few times. I'm sure I'll get comfortable with it shortly, though.
The velcro that's stitched to the lateral side of the shoe isn't really long enough. As the lace cover is cinched down, it's only being held on by the last centimeter of velcro. i had it pop off a few time. but this isnt that big of a deal for me.

These boots are amazing
Style: I personally think they look better than the pics. The pics make this look like a basketball shoe. The Velocity Boots are bigger, sturdier, and definitely feel way more protective than any shoe. I think this is a very versatile boot, you could probably wear them in just about condition (besides dressing for an interview). I even wear them with my business casual clothes.
Protection: These cut off a little bit above the ankle. Protection and sturdiness comes to mind when examining this shoe. It's a very well made shoe, and I feel it can last for ages.
Comfort: I think it's fairly comfortable. It's no sneaker, but I've walked a lot in it and my feet felt fine. It does get pretty hot in this boot, I don't tend to sweat much, but I do feel my feet get a little sweaty after wearing this.
All in all, it's a great shoe. Get it.

Very satisfied in have it in My feet.
-This is an excellent item, modern design, light and very comfortable to use here in the warm/cold and heavy traffic of Sao Paulo."Looks great on you yeah" (words of some girls) !!!
But you can feel that they offer a heavy protection also, I mean you can ride safe in great style, really. I have to wear a suit every day to go to My job, and they are perfect with a black suit hahahaha.....This item is very dynamic, to trip, to night life riding sessions, to wear with jeans and a t-shirt in a sunny weekend or to complete your armor for a long journey.

Possibly more comfortable than my daily sneakers.
Seriously, these things are just as comfortable (if not more) than any of the shoes that I wear on a daily basis. I put them on the day after I got them from Revzilla thinking they may need a little break in period, but found they didn't. They were good to go right out of the box. In fact, I ended up forgetting I was wearing them and went about my business... only to notice halfway through the day that I was still wearing them. Did I take them off? Nope... just kept on wearing them. They're THAT comfy.
They also look like they're built like a tank, so I'm sure they'll last several years before I need to replace them. I may just buy another pair so I can swap back and forth extending the life.

Pure Comfort
Well I decided to move to these for the summertime as my Icon Superduy4 boots are a little too heavy and bulky. These Joe Rocket's feel like you are wearing a sneaker but have the strength and protection that you would want out of a riding shoe. I wear a 10.5 and purchased the 10. They do run a little big and wide. The size 10 fit perfect and i was surprised on how much room you have. I really look forward to testing these out this weekend here in PA with some change of nice weather. Anyway they fit great, feel great, look great, and you wont even know you have them on.
