Beautiful and sporty, but quality is a little suspect.
I received the jacket within the expected time frame and immediately opened the box. I tried it on and the large fit me perfectly according to the fitment guide.

Since it fit and I liked the look, I removed the tags and put it away. When my wife came home, she wanted to see it, so I put it on and buttoned it up. Upon trying to take off the collar button, the button broke off. It appears that the way the button grommet was pounded down was inadequate and the metal holding it together failed and cracked. In inspecting the jacket further, all the buttons look a little loose, and I'm worried I need to be extra careful when buttoning and unbuttoning. The jacket came with 2 spare buttons, but I now need to find a place that can put it on. Hopefully it won't cost too much.

I wanted to return it for a replacement, but Revzilla is pretty explicit in saying that the tags can't be removed if returning. Like I said it fit and I liked it, so I cut off the plastic thread holding the extra buttons and tags to the jacket. My advice would be to try it on then use all the buttons multiple times and look for loose buttons before cutting the tags off. Good luck with your purchase.

Love this jacket
I got this in the brown color in a size medium. I am 6'3 and weigh 200 pounds with an athletic build. I tried both the medium and large but the large ended up being too big. The medium was a little tight but it stretched out because it's leather and it now fits perfectly. I get compliments all the time when I'm wearing this jacket. While it does not come with armor I have since added it and I feel that I would be well protected in a crash. The zip out liner gives this jacket good adaptability to the weather. I was plenty warm in it while riding in 40 degree weather in early March, and now with the liner out I am still comfortable in it in 80 degree weather..

LOVE it! Exactly What I Wanted
I LOVE this jacket. This will be perfect for my cross-country ride (and move) to Los Angeles (next year).

The leather feels great and with use, it will get even better.

The liner is gorgeous and what I'd expect from a leather jacket (unlike the Scorpion 1909 jacket's liner, which I got before this jacket and returned). The chest and "key" pocket (on the right side) are well placed and sized. And the inner pockets are perfect.

I can use this jacket for motorcycle and non-motorcycle use. This is unlike my all-season jacket which I look and smell the motorcycle part with when using on a train or grocery shopping.

This jacket gives me the protection areas I expect from a motorcycle jacket but the look of a

I got it in Brown in size Medium and it fits almost perfectly. I'm 5 foot, 9 inches (175 cm), 180 pounds (81 kg), 40 inch (100 cm) chest, 32 inch (81 cm) waist. It wasn't too tight nor too loose. The only non-perfect part were the sleeves. They are a little bit longer than usual for me but nowhere near enough to be consequential.

I actually like that the jacket did not come with armor. I only wish they provided specifications on armor sizes and shapes so people can get the right armor from other vendors.

I decided on the Icon D3O armor (aka T5 Evo armor) for the shoulder and elbow and using the Klim D3O Viper T5 Pro Back Protector I already have and use on all my jackets. They seem to fit well with little movement (it's currently Winter and it will be awhile before the weather is good enough for me to test this).

I HIGHLY recommend this jacket for anyone looking for a casual jacket that they can also use as a regular jacket (off the bike).

Attention Big Guys.
I am 6'4" tall, 44-46 waist, and suit size 50L. I bought this jacket for short rides to dinner etc and off the bike. This is what this jacket is for. As Anthony states in the videos its not a serious riding jacket, but does what it is designed for. I would recommend getting this jacket in the size you normally wear. I don't agree that this runs large and to order one size smaller. I also have the JR Sonic perforated jacket that I got for track days and summer riding. I got it in the long size to zip to pants. That jacket does indeed run large but the Classic 92 in my opinion does not. As big guys we know that the Euro stuff while great quality just runs too small for big guys like us. Joe Rocket is the only brand I have found that is true motorcycle quality and can be bought for large guys. JR is far superior to the no-name or china made leathers that are poor quality. So if you want a jacket for causal short hops and to wear off this bike this one fits the bill. Great quality. Just remember to order your size, or go one size up if you want to layer say a hoodie or sweatshirt under it. Shipping etc was the usual Revzilla first class and speed

Good quality leather jacket, nice retro and modern look
Being a new rider I was looking for a quality jacket that would not break the bank. I had ordered different jackets but was not happy with the fit of any of the jackets until I came accross this Jacket the 92 Classic. Leather quality is great, I ordered a size medium and the fit was good. My only complaint about this jacket is that putting the armor pads at the elbows were not easy. Otherwise the jacket is great with a nice modern look with a nod to retro cafe styling.

Cheaply Made Buttons
Very impressed with the fast shipping; however, when trying the jacket on for the very first time, straight out of the box, I went to open the collar buttons and one of the "metal" buttons on the collar snapped off, broken!
I called Customer Service but they were already closed.
I was very excited to select and receive this jacket. But, now that the pot metal buttons appear to be sub-par, weak, and susceptible to failure right out of the box, I see no other option but to immediately return the item. Because I want a jacket that will last a long time. And I don't think the buttons on this jacket are up to the task.
Very disappointed. :-/
As an aside, I noticed that the jacket arrived in a box from a company called Sullivans. Coincidently, a Joe Rocket survival suit that I ordered 4 months ago (not from Revzilla but from a different company) also arrived in a box from Sullivans. The survival suit also had a defect on the velcro enclosure on the right cuff. Upon first use, the velcro immediately peeled off.
Not sure if Joe Rocket, Sullivans, or both have a QC issue. But I do know that one more bad experience that I have with Joe Rocket means 3 strikes and you're out!
I am hoping Revzilla will make things right for me...

Overall a Great Jacket
I am 6'1" around 200lbs. and I got the large. Normally I would go with the extra large but the recommendation was to go one size down. Definitely agree. The fit is spot on, however, they inner lining, while warm, is very tight. I am relatively muscular and the inner liner is very constricting if you are trying to bend your arms past the riding position. Over all very pleased with jacket. Quality leather and great fit especially with out the liner. Also feels great to have a hoodie underneath.

Also I have a '75 Honda CB750F Cafe and this jacket fits that style perfectly.

Weren't lying about american sizing.
Man is this jacket awesome. Doesn't come with armor, but the leather is pretty thick, comes with slots for armor, and also very comfortable. I'm in love with this jacket! Only problem I have is the sizing on this jacket. I ordered a Medium, I am 5"11 195lbs, 42" chest and 34" waist I have pretty broad shoulders, but this jacket seems to give me a lot of room for them. This jacket is a true 44-46" at medium I probably should of went with a small since its supposedly a a 38-40, but probably a 40-42, but they are sold out of small. Still an awesome jacket I definitely recommend this jacket just a size smaller than your usual jacket!

Better Than Expected
My first impression when this jacket arrived at my door was "this is a really nice jacket for the price." While it's no Roland Sands Ronin, it meets my needs almost perfectly and looks good doing it.

The breakdown: The leather is not as thick as my Ronin, but it's much thicker than cheaper jackets I've seen or owned and still feels substantial. It fits me exactly the way I want a jacket to fit. While I'm not thrilled about the "Rocket" emblem sewn in the arms, the jacket otherwise looks and feels great. The areas on the jacket where Joe Rocket looked to reduce costs are smart and well-hidden.

What I was most happy about is how much warmer this jacket is than what I expected. With my Ronin, I'm able to stretch it into late Fall and early Spring using a balaclava and good wind-stopping mid-layer, but with the perforated leather and no thermal liner, Winter riding just isn't an option for the Ronin. However, with a wind-stopping mid-layer and heated liner to go with it, I'm rocking my Rocket '92 right now on even the coldest days during my daily commute in the DMV.

My only real gripe is that there isn't one pocket in this jacket that really fits my Samsung Note 3 phone. I can slide my phone in the breast pocket or the pocket inside the jacket, but those pockets aren't deep enough to close over the phone and the Napoleon pocket is particularly small.

All that said, I'm warm. This jacket is helping me to keep the ride alive year round... and that trumps a safe place for my phone 10 times out of 10, period.

Hi what is the length of the jack from the shoulder to the bottom of the jacket?

Just bought this jacket. I want to purchase Forcefield back, shoulder and elbow protection. Can anyone tell me which models/sizes work best with this jacket?
John Q on Sep 21, 2015
What armors fit this jacket? Thanks
MWINL on Oct 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I use the Klim shoulder pads they're pretty cheap but the shoulder areas are tiny. I use the Forcefield Net armor for elbows but they just fit. The back protector I have is Forcefield as well however it is the 001 and is short so I modified the back pocket to be shorter so look for a longer than the 001 if you use them for the back protector as well.
Is the sizing US or EU? I wear size 56 on Alpinestars leather jacket, what would be the eq on this jacket?
A shopper on Oct 7, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Sizing is US. I've never owned an Alpinestars so I can't speak to the comparison. For reference, I'm 5'7" 150lbs athletic build: I own a Dianese textile in size 50 and this jacket in size small;both fit very well, with the joe rocket being slightly larger in the cuff and mid section.

I will say that I love this jacket for the comfort, style, and protection. It's great anywhere up to 75-80F depending on humidity
How does the jacket perform in warmer weather? Say, above 80 degrees?
Justin M on Apr 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I live in Australia and the temperatures are around 26 C (80F) quite often and can get hotter.

I find that wearing this jacket without the inside waterproof liner will help to keep you quite cool whilst cruising around, of course if you were to stop in traffic for any longer than 30 seconds you will start to feel the hear gather inside the jacket but i rode with this jacket on a daily basis and it is a strong durable jacket that can be worn in summer time. You will sweat a bit but on a hot summer day you should expect to sweat.

Im a tradie and whilst wearing this jacket I wore the typical blue collar, yellow fluro, armpit vented collar shirt.
Does it include protective inserts for shoulders, elbows and back???
Jacek G on May 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: There are pockets to add armour, but no armour is included with the jacket.
Will Icon D30 elbow/shoulder pads fit this jacket? Will the pockets fit most stuff out there or are they relatively small? Thanks!
Also I'm about 5'10" 180. Should I go for small or med?
A shopper on Jan 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hello from down under, to answer your question yes the D30 elbow and shoulder armour does fit and is so ridiculously comfortable you don't realise your wearing armour in the joe rocker jacket!!

I purchased the jacket and elbow , shoulder & back armour from revzilla and shipped it all the way to Sydney Australia not sure if it would fit and not to mention shipping was painfully expensive to make a mistake.

Every Saturday without fail I do 6-12hr rides across Sydney's incredible seaside and country.

The jacket is amazing and so is the armour, the armour and jacket both breathe so well it summer, it's hit 43 degree temperatures, I have also be caught in hail storms and its jacket it warm with the inner winter lining.

With all the researched I have done with the armour I am more than confident if God forbid I fell off I would be protected within reason.

Hope this helps !!

Dan // Sydney
Does this jacket have any kind of belt lop attachments?
A shopper on Sep 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No, and it does not come down lower in the back like some jackets do.
Which size Forcefield pro back protector would fit in this jacket?
GradyS on Sep 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hey Graydon,

Hope you're well,

Not sure if u have seen my review off this jacket and armour, but I thought I might try and help you out.

I purchased the D30 armour, save my skin and life.

Recently I had an accident basically going 140kms / 70mh ons straight then a sharp corner came out of no where.

Got the bike down to 40-50kms, went to hot into corner so I had to throw the bike and myself on ground.

Went slidding for 10meters.

I had someone lift the bike off me, and check me out before letting me get up and to our shock then jacket was in perfect order and I had no scratches or anything.

Bottom line is the armour cushioned my impart of the fall plus the bike on top of me. I can't stop raving about this product.

Hope this helps and pray u never have to use it !!
