Icon Women's Contra Jacket
The arms on this jacket run skinny
I ordered this jacket after a lot of research. I'm a gear head and super picky but the Contra fit the bill on price and most importantly protection. I am 5'9 145lbs, used the size chart and waited for it to show up in the mail. As soon as it came I tried it on in the PO. The medium fit perfectly, except the arms. There is a seam that runs across the fore arm that makes it almost impossible to be in the riding position. Even without the liner in it made me feel like my hands might go numb from it. If you have slender arms this jacket is great. The fit is long in the torso and arms, not a ton of room if you are busty(I'm not), and great protection(if you upgrade the back pad which seems standard). Hope this is helpful

great jacket very bulky
seems to be a great jacket, all the features you could possibly need and heavily protected....however, the fit is very boxy up top where the protection is, extremely large upper fit in the shoulder area, like that of a football player, then tapers down narrower. even if you take out protection it is still too much material in the shoulder area. i had to send it back and kept a different jacket that was not as bulky. i'm a 34D, waist 24, 110 lbs, athletic petite build, and ordered a small. i was worried about the bust area not fitting and it did though.

Worth the $, thick textile feels very protective, fits well and true to size. I am long and lanky, and I have a hard time with jackets having sleeves the length I like, but this one is as good as it gets without paying for custom fit. I'd buy it again if I lost or damaged my current one.

Very nice jacket.
Jacket fit nice and looks awesome. Protection is great. Just wish it had more options for venting and air flow. Other than that great jacket!!

Great First Jacket
I'm 5'10", weigh 140 lbs, have a 28 " waist and 34 DD chest. I bought a medium because of my bust and was certainly glad I did so. A medium fits perfectly over the ladies but the waist and arms are a little bit big, and it doesn't have straps to adjust. The fit reminds me of my Fox ATV jacket, it has relatively minor "female curvature". I'm highly impressed by its breathability and the protection is awesome. I live in Oregon so I'm into reping local gear designed in the NW weather. I rode first day I got it and it was about 55 degrees F and I wasn't chilled at all. Jacket has mediocre pockets, my iPhone with a larger case doesn't fit perfectly in the hand pockets but I make due. It also came with a few loose threads which I stitched or cut to ensure they wouldn't get caught in zippers. Has absolutely ZERO irritation in the neck area. The way the collar was designed is perfect! No scratchy Velcro or zippers biting your throat. Overall, I highly recommend this jacket and believe I got what I paid for!

A great beginner's jacker.
We ordered this for my wife as she wanted something feminine, without being overly girly, but also protective, and versatile. We got exactly what she wanted. Fit with the liner in IS snug, as noted in other reviews but with it out, it's absolutely perfect. The armor doesn't move around, airflow with the liner out is perfect for her, though not as good as a true mesh, and gives her plenty of flexibility. She wore itnfor her BRC and only towards the end of the day id sje get too warm butnwete talking 8-ish hours in the New Mexico sun, in a black jacket, at parking lots speeds at best. My only issues are a few untrimmed threads that really should he cleaned up before leaving the factory but it's a minor quibble.
For $225 you can't beat this jacker, especially for new riders or someone not looking to invest a ton of money.

Awesome very cute
I really love this jacket, but if you plan to use the liner, you might want to order one size up. I live in Texas and rode in 110 degrees with jacket on, as long as I wasn't stopped, I wasn't sweating. Fit is amazing. Very flattering and still very protective. I feel safe with this jacket as a new rider. A bit of a hefty price tag, but worth it for the safety,

One of my main concerns ordering this jacket online was getting the wrong size and having to deal with a return. Luckily I found a review that was very helpful in picking the correct size. I usually wear a medium in most tops and decided to order a medium after I read a review that gave the individuals dimensions and size ordered. I'm about 5'7" and 135 lbs - the medium was a great fit. Hope this helps for those of you debating size.
