Great First Jacket I'm 5'10", weigh 140 lbs, have a 28 " waist and 34 DD chest. I bought a medium because of my bust and was certainly glad I did so. A medium fits perfectly over the ladies but the waist and arms are a little bit big, and it doesn't have straps to adjust. The fit reminds me of my Fox ATV jacket, it has relatively minor "female curvature". I'm highly impressed by its breathability and the protection is awesome. I live in Oregon so I'm into reping local gear designed in the NW weather. I rode first day I got it and it was about 55 degrees F and I wasn't chilled at all. Jacket has mediocre pockets, my iPhone with a larger case doesn't fit perfectly in the hand pockets but I make due. It also came with a few loose threads which I stitched or cut to ensure they wouldn't get caught in zippers. Has absolutely ZERO irritation in the neck area. The way the collar was designed is perfect! No scratchy Velcro or zippers biting your throat. Overall, I highly recommend this jacket and believe I got what I paid for! February 21, 2015
A great beginner's jacker. We ordered this for my wife as she wanted something feminine, without being overly girly, but also protective, and versatile. We got exactly what she wanted. Fit with the liner in IS snug, as noted in other reviews but with it out, it's absolutely perfect. The armor doesn't move around, airflow with the liner out is perfect for her, though not as good as a true mesh, and gives her plenty of flexibility. She wore itnfor her BRC and only towards the end of the day id sje get too warm butnwete talking 8-ish hours in the New Mexico sun, in a black jacket, at parking lots speeds at best. My only issues are a few untrimmed threads that really should he cleaned up before leaving the factory but it's a minor quibble. For $225 you can't beat this jacker, especially for new riders or someone not looking to invest a ton of money. August 15, 2014
Awesome very cute I really love this jacket, but if you plan to use the liner, you might want to order one size up. I live in Texas and rode in 110 degrees with jacket on, as long as I wasn't stopped, I wasn't sweating. Fit is amazing. Very flattering and still very protective. I feel safe with this jacket as a new rider. A bit of a hefty price tag, but worth it for the safety, August 11, 2014
Standard Sizing One of my main concerns ordering this jacket online was getting the wrong size and having to deal with a return. Luckily I found a review that was very helpful in picking the correct size. I usually wear a medium in most tops and decided to order a medium after I read a review that gave the individuals dimensions and size ordered. I'm about 5'7" and 135 lbs - the medium was a great fit. Hope this helps for those of you debating size. August 2, 2014
Warm jacket Finding womens gear that fits my figure properly is always a problem. I am 5'3, typically would wear a womens large shirt (or a mens small). I had to buy this jacket in a 2XL, so ICON runs SMALL. It's rather thick, even without the liner, so it's a very warm jacket. I usually ride in the evenings in Vermont, so I'm usually cold, and this jacket did a good job insulating. It is rather bulky and the sleeves are a bit long. I liked the style details. June 12, 2014
Good jacket I love my jacket, after wearing it a few times it has really "grown" on me.Very true to size. I just wish there were a couple more pockets on the inside of the coat. Other than that I love this jacket. May 21, 2014
Great women's jacket! I want to start by saying make sure you follow the size chart when ordering this jacket. I normally wear a Large in tops, but ordered an XL based on my measurements and the size charts and it fits perfectly. I am 5'7" and 174 pounds. This jacket fits better than my old one ever did. I have yet to get on the bike and try it, but the thermal liner is definitely warm just trying it on and I like the mesh panels the jacket has for the warmer weather when I take the lining out. Very versatile, looks great on, love the longer panel in the back to cover any possible bum flashing too. Can't wait to ride in it! March 26, 2014
Highly recommended I am 5' 2", 130lb. Medium frame, hourglass figure. I have a 34" bust, 26" waist, and 36" hips. I bought a size small. I would advise you to stick to the sizing guide for this jacket. Forget other clothing sizes you wear, just follow Icon's sizing guide. This jacket fits great. Love how its slightly longer in the back to prevent flashing other motorists! And the sleeves do not ride up and expose my wrists when in riding position. The collar is not aggressive and uncomfortable, its perfect. I have not worn it on my bike yet as it is still Winter in CT with a lot of salt and sand down, so I will check back and provide another review in the Spring/ Summer, but after reading a lot of other reviews and watching YouTube videos of this jacket, I'm sure it will have great air flow in the warmer temps, and keep me warm with the liner installed and maybe a light hoody underneath in cooler temps. I know appearance/ style and trying to land a feminine fitting jacket should be last on the list when searching for protective gear, but nonetheless it is a factor, and this one wins, hands down.. without compromising protection, durability and comfort. The armor seems tough, hopefully I will never have to test it out, but its there incase I need it. And it is not too bulky looking or feeling. The jacket is very comfortable. Check out my pictures, the jacket fits and looks great. Thanks a lot guys! March 14, 2014

ashok M asked: Just purchased it for my wife from revzilla and i am waiting for shipping. Does this have any reflective material in the front/back/anywhere? May 22, 2014

wally s: There is no reflective material on the back at all. The Icon on the front is a little reflective. This is the nicest jacket that they currently have out there as I refuse to purchase a white jacket because they are not very forgiving to withstand the test of time in looking well for long. All in all I love the jacket and it is a lot more comfy than my leather. May 31, 2014

A shopper asked: Is there any way to upgrade to the Stryker CE certified back protector? Apr 20, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: Yes, this will slide into the Icon Women's Contra Jacket and most other Icon jackets. Just make sure you don't forget to remove the straps. Bet that would be a bit uncomfortable. On another positive, if you keep the straps on, this can be worn as a stand along with nearly any other jacket you could imagine, as long as the jacket is not too snug. Apr 25, 2013

Sean J: Bought a large--she loves the jacket, even though it is a little loose--but the Stryker back protector will not fit in the lining pocket. It is bigger than the original foam pad and trying to force it was not going to work. I want her to have the protection and not have to wear it as a separate piece, so I may look into having someone adjust the liner. Dec 26, 2013
Lydia R: I bought the Stryker CE certified back protector specifically because this answer said it would fit. Too bad I didn't read Sean's full comment below, because I have the exact same problem - it does NOT fit. The pocket has an opening about 1/4 of the way down to slide in the back protector. I slid the bottom portion in just fine, but I can't fit the top of the pocket over the top of the back protector - it's about 1" too big. I am still testing to see if the size of the jacket will fit me and I wanted to test it with the back protector already in (since it's bulkier than the one it comes with), so I can't just snip the inner lining to get it to fit since I might need to return the jacket. Very disappointed. Jun 10, 2014
Lydia R: This will NOT fit in the Icon Women's Contra Jacket. I replied to this post earlier this week, but RevZilla must have removed it. Sean J confirms the same thing in his comment below, so I have no idea why my post was removed. Jun 13, 2014
A shopper asked: Am I crazy or are the lower arms of this jacket really tight? I am a new rider, is that how most jackets fit, or should i get the next size up? Aug 8, 2014
