I bought the gold visor and I love it. But after riding with it for a couple weeks now; I noticed while riding in the direction of the sun, it provides no protection for your eyes. On the bright side, this visor works great at night, I barely noticed a difference.

Nothing to note other than the fact that switching shields on the Variant is a bit more time consuming that other helmets due to the visor. So just leave yourself an extra 5-10 minutes. Oh, the Dark Smoke looks nice and evil on my Rubatone Variant.
