Icon Strongarm 2 Pants
Great pants, but...
Jeans fit great, feel great, and look great. Hopefully I'll never have to test the Kevlar, so who knows. My only gripe about these things is that instead of a zipper fly, they use 4 buttons. Not snap buttons, but normal buttons. I can only speak for myself, but I want to be able to put jeans on in under 30 seconds. These stupid buttons serve no additional purpose and it boggles my mind as to why Icon went with these buttons instead of the zipper. Other than that, the size was right and they are comfortable.

This is a nice thick material witch is a plus but the front pockets are on the smaller side. Good fit after i had the bottoms tailored to my length. A big negative for me is the button fly just too much of a hassle for my liking. Besides the smaller pockets and button fly i like the jean.

Never ride without them
I love these pants! They look and feel great. Have the reinforcement where I wanted it. Not over the top with padding but didn't expect it to. They run small but not that small. I wear between a 30 and 32 in all my pants, dress pants a 32 spot on. I ordered a 34 and they are too big. I wear these usually over a pair of cargo shorts when going somewhere in the summer to take off or over sweats in cool weather. I will be ordering a pair of 32's as well. The length is perfect for my forward controls.

Great for street
I love these pants, in fact I'm wearing them right now. I fortunately have not yet tested them in a crash, and I know they wont be anywhere as good as leathers. But I feel better wearing them than regular jeans. You don't even notice the Kevlar in them once broken in. They seem to dry fairly quick when riding if you get caught in a quick rain storm.

Poorly made and inconsistent sizing
These jeans are not a great product. They fit very small (I normally wear a 38 and that's what I ordered, I ended up giving them to a friend who wears a 34) and aren't particularly well made. Certainly not worth $100 plus, if you crashed in these you would definitely feel it.
I haven't had much luck with Icon as a brand; they seem to be more about style and image than quality and durability. I'll be staying away in future.

Good brand, bad product.
Just got these today and the jeans are just like another regular jeans, the video shows exactly what it is. I am very disappointed with these, just not what i was expecting from Icon. Great color, but not worthy $105 in my opinion. There is nothing that will make these worth the $105. I do not recommend these. I didn't get a chance to use them because is below 30 degrees here, but i would not be able to tell about the air flow, comfort etc. I would imagine they are good for the summer. You could get more protection for less $$$. Sorry Icon, you lost me with these. :(

Fairly nice pants that give you a little bit more protection and peace of mind than regular denim.
Aside from the aramid (kevlar) reinforced knees, these are basically just slightly beefier jeans than what you can buy down at the mall. Their main advantage is the cut and fitment is much better suited for a riding posture, and the knees include panels that are reinforced. Other than that, you wouldn't be able to tell that they are jeans intended for riding unless you saw the Icon name/logo. They do give a bit more peace of mind that just standard denim, but I'll go for something with a bit more kevlar reinforcement on my next purchase.

Not quite what I hoped for but good enough
I wanted to wear something more protective than just jeans but not full padded riding pants so i ordered these. Out of the package I was disappointed to find they were button fly. Not my favorite at all. They may have kevlar in the knees but so far I'm thinking these are pricey. I put them on and found the crotch a little tight. Icon didn't design them to have a gusset so you can spread your legs comfortably. The good news is the sizing is good. The legs are long enough and wide to easily fit over boots. I wore them on a 600 mile trip to the mountains (out and back) and was pleasantly surprised to find the jeans are densely woven with much less air flow then plain jeans. Kevlar is sewen in as backing at the knees and is a bit stiffer material then the denim. Be forewarned, wash separately because they bleed like crazy. I ruined the wash load. Bottom line - I wish they had a zipper.
